A deluge of unnecessary confusion to make a very long story short. Followed by another confusing deluge of emails so we're still not sure what was done, if anything to our program. Went to a bigger Verizon location for help which was given, but definitely considering changing carriers as they all try to upsell you to some degree and were still not sure if our program was effed with or not but you can BEST BELIEVE we are going to get to the bottom of the situation! My friend, a paying Verizon customer, was simply following standard procedure by handing over her ID when asked. Instead of processing the request professionally, the employee looked at her ID, then at her, and said, "You look different." My friend, caught off guard, responded, "Okay." Then, in an absolutely disgusting and inappropriate moment, the employee said, "You used to be prettier." And to top it off? They shrugged and added, "Sorry. It's true." Are you kidding me? What kind of business allows their employees to insult customers to their faces? This isn't just unprofessional--it's mean-spirited, demeaning, and completely unacceptable in any customer service setting. This employee should not be working in a role that requires any level of professionalism or human decency, because clearly, they lack both. I sincerely hope Verizon takes immediate action to address this. If this is how your staff feels they can treat customers, then you can be sure I will never recommend Verizon to anyone and will make sure others know exactly what kind of treatment they might receive. I'm a college student I need my computer, then I called and they said a few more days....okay great. I pay, I go home i try to use it. It does work, but something's off...weird in-fact, the first layer of my computer screen's plastic cover, the only layer they had to fix, nothing else, was barely attached. I mean my screen basically caught a waft of the rest of the computer. Fine. I call them back ask their warranty policy, they say: "we can look at it but if it's something we deem you did then we will charge you again." Uh? No! It's your job to fix it not mine. The store itself is pretty small with no frills inside, which was fine. They had to send my watch to another store to get it replaced so it took 3 business days. The cost was around $125. Kind of high for a watch battery but cheaper than a new smart watch. My only complaint is that I took my watch in because of a bad battery so my % battery on drop off was like 10%. When I picked my new battery watch up, it was a 3%... I would have liked to have had them charge it some at least so that I could see that the new battery was replaced. It is kind of like picking up a watch or clock at another store and it isnt wound or set to the right time. But it worked find once i charged it I was glad to do this route vs a new watch.
