Unfortunately, I did wait a while to make this review but I took in my laptop to get a damaged screen repaired late 2025. Originally they told 3-5 days, perfect. I'm a college student I need my computer, then I called and they said a few more days....okay great. Fast forward 2 WEEKS later I go in, finally get my computer and then lo and behold it's an extra 15$ than I was told? I had already paid 365$ so an extra 2$ is a lot more. Whatever I get it. I pay, I go home i try to use it. It does work, but something's off...weird in-fact, the first layer of my computer screen's plastic cover, the only layer they had to fix, nothing else, was barely attached. I mean my screen basically caught a waft of the rest of the computer. Fine. I call them back ask their warranty policy, they say: "we can look at it but if it's something we deem you did then we will charge you again." Uh? No! It's your job to fix it not mine. I don't have any pictures unfortunately, but I do have a story to tell. And it involves two gentlemen at the store named Josh (I think, of not I'm sorry, but I know it starts with a J!) and Rashad, one of the techs in the back. I've had a recurring problem with my device. And I EXCLUSIVELY use 'uBreakifix'. Mainly because my phone is insured through asurion, which might I add, has really stepped their insurance program up compared to years of yore, but, for other devices that I can't fix myself, I take to this particular franchise. I'm an OTR driver, from Reno and currently in emporia Virginia. My s23 ultra took a s*** on me last night, and I run a majority of my business primarily through this phone, and partially on my tablet. Being as tech savvy as I am, and having this issue before, I called Rashad, he told me he was open and to file a claim before I got there, and then to get there ASAP so they could get my device fixed. I drove to a closer location that said they were open on sundays, and they actually weren't, but that put me about a half an hour away from Glen Allen when I made that call. I followed Rashad's advice, headed towards their facility and tussled with asurion for about a half an hour to get my claim started. I walked in, Josh checked me in, super cool dude, and they're playin music from the 2000s, that brought back a lot of memories!!! We exchanged a few words and pleasantries, and off my phone went to rashad, and off I went back to my truck to wait it out. Within an hour, Rashad called me and told me my repair was complete. And it was just as I suspected, what he concurred. He whipped it into shape, ran tests, and sent me on my way. What a great couple of guys they are! Extra star for being open on sunday, and being able to accommodate a neurotic maniacal eccentric customer such as myself, in a pickle, because Monday is tomorrow and I needed my phone fixed yesterday. Thank you guys so much! Thank you uBreakiFix... Your techs, service, speed and knowledgeability are Paramount in this industry. My insurance covered it so it didn't cost me a THING, but even if I had to pay out of pocket, out would have came the ole business debit card!!! read more

Absolutely incredible omg. I drowned my phone in the ocean a few days ago and tried to get it repaired while I was on my trip but the repair place I took it to said the only thing that was broken was my phone display but they didn't have it in stock and I'd have to wait and my flights back were yesterday so I had to take it elsewhere and I tried going to Best Buy and the guy there told me I should just buy a new phone because repairing it would be over $500 but they didn't have any phones in stock that took physical SIM cards so I went where Best Buy told me to try, bought a new phone, went back to Best Buy only for them to not help me at all so I came here because it was nearby and they fully fixed my old phone in an hour, had the display in stock, and now have my old phone fully functioning and can return the new phone I bought elsewhere and have my old phone back for just over $100 and the original place I went to quoted me for $250. Could not recommend this place more! read more

I took my Ipod Touch Gen6 in for repair to see if they could fix it. Apparently the battery swelled up to the point that the screen became detached and would not snap back on. The gentleman who assisted me took the unit into the back work area for a few minutes, then came back and said the device was too old, and they didn't have the parts for it so they couldn't fix it. They recommended I take it to the Apple Store in Short Pump, so I took it there and they told me the exact same thing. So I decided to find the battery online and just install it myself. Not too complicated to do, but requires a good magnifying glass to see. Overall the customer service was good at both stores, but just disappointed that they couldn't order a battery and do the replacement. read more

My wife broke her screen so we took it here, we had the worker Johnathan work on the phone, when we got it back the phone screen was fixed but the TrueDepth camera wasn't working. We took it back there and Johnathan was back, and they weaseled out of paying by saying they didn't do it... the face camera worked before we took it to them and now it doesn't. Since Johnathan can't do anything by himself he got his boss, Rashad, involved and he was just as incompetent as Johnathan. Both are absolutely brainless. read more

Brought in my laptop that I couldn't get to work. They attempted to repair it but determined the hard drive had gone bad and there was nothing they could do. 5 stars is for the fact that they didn't charge me anything for it since they weren't able to fix it. Obviously, they spent time working on it even though they were able to solve my problem but I appreciated them not charging me since they weren't able to resolve it. Many other places charge a diagnostic fee even if they can't fix it. I'll be sure to give them another try the next time I have an issue. read more

They ordered and installed an integrated battery into my 6 year old laptop and got it back to me with no hassle. I had no complaints, but I will say that they weren't quick about the repair, but I'm pretty sure that is because the battery had to be special ordered and it took a while to come in the mail. From the time I dropped it off until I got it back it was about 2-3weeks or so. This wasn't a problem for me but I can easily see how it could be for a lot of emergencies. The WORST SERVICE EVER!! I called the Virginia Center location requesting assistance with a PS4 update. Took the PS4 to this location 6/20/20. I was advised they should get to the device that day. I heard nothing until Monday 6/22/20 and that call was only to advise the same information given to me at drop off. They stated they were going to do a hard drive update. If that didn't work they were doing a reinstall of the operating system. It may be a hardrive failure which can be replaced. I was promised a return call same day. Ofcourse that didn't happen! I called yesterday, spoke with a guy who said they were still working on the PS4 but they would call me back in a few hours! That didn't happen! I called today and was told they installed an update but it was currently at 70%. At that point I asked that the PS4 be prepared for pick up! Get there and they tried returning the device without the USB cord and HDMI cord! We had to wait for them to find the cords! I asked for the number to corporate so that I could file a formal complaint! This was repeated broken promises, poor service, lies, lies, and more lies! Laziness and lack of concern!
