Your out work you're not getting paid to be on your phone. I won't be back. There's a different candy shop in mount. Clemens, I will be more than happy to drive out there and check them out, but this was a waste of time. I spent way too much money on barely anything. I walked out spending thirty bucks for a small bag of saltwater taffy, if it's even real saltwater taffy, a couple sweetheart suckers, a pack of gum and one candy bar, a butterfinger, like that is so overpriced.

I'm also a candy editor for my job, so this was like being a kid in a candy shop, no pun intended. I was specifically looking for Fruit Stripe gum, since the company decided to discontinue it. They unfortunately did not have it but they had a plethora of other pretty cool candies and chocolates. I ended up buying a few peanut butter cups that I had never seen before, a Hot Tamales candy cane for my fiance, some coconut strip things for myself, and a few other goodies. If money was no object, I also would have bought the Ted Lasso branded candies and ALL of the Golden Girls stuff, as that's one of my favorite TV shows. They had a nice selection of freeze-dried candy as well, which is a new trend, but they were a little expensive, at $7.99 per bag. The saleslady was very friendly here as well and asked if I had any questions or needed help with anything, when I was in the store. I wish I had visited here earlier in my Clawson residency, but I will definitely be back.

We found Pop's on Facebook and when we realized how close by the store was, we rushed over…read more Pop's has the retro candy and sweets you recall from your youth, whatever your age. Dozens of bulk containers so you can choose how much to get, as well as prepackaged candies, toys, antique metal signs and even some pinball games! Hot chocolate and fudge is on hand, too. Pop's will be closed for a week in January to remodel and revamp the place, so get there beforehand or you can wait until February 2022.

I understand the bins are probably old, but everything is old and yellowing which makes everything look a bit unsanitary. Some scoops were inside the buckets, touching the food. So the hand germs from the scoop is now in the food, and someone needs to reach in and touch the food in order to retrieve it. Which I saw a customer do. The directions are also unclear, you need to write down all the product codes instead of the large number on the information sheets, which is the price/lb. We did get small portions of 2 types of candy, both which were stale. It was also $6, which is cheap, but I can get x5 the amount of candy at the dollar store or drugstore for that price. The staff member was nice, and there was a regular in there who seemed to come often.

The prices at all the grocery stores were very high so I was hoping to find these items in bulk. The store personnel took me right to the salt and pepper and answered my questions about the different types of salt and pepper. I selected my salt and pepper and paid less than half of what I would have paid in a traditional store. There were so many different items to browse. I was especially happy to see the bulk coffee beans and the coffee grinder! I love vanilla tootsie roll midgets and found them in bulk here...they are so very hard to find. Lots of candy, cookies, dog treats and anything you need to make a fancy cake. Huge store with with small prices. Check it out.
