This place is adorable! Located in Marine City, we stopped in one night after dinner. They have everything! And I mean everything! They have loose bulk candy and nuts. Brownies, chocolate dipped Twinkie's and Oreos. They have old nostalgic candies from the past where you read next to them long they've been in existence. They also have all the gummy and sour candy available today. Want a waffle bowl of ice cream? They got that too. The kids are super friendly. They do not have a public bathroom though...their building is kind of setup like Mackinaw or Frankenmuth where's the stores inside the strip but they have a public bathroom inside.... A candy and sweets store on steroids. We've been here a couple of times and we have walked out with a bag full of goodies! From ice cream to fudge to homemade chocolates and pastries. There's also candy bars and a ton of taffy flavors along with nostalgic items you don't see at the neighborhood store. They have it all covered and there's something for everyone. Need a gift for the sweet lover? Stop in and you'll be surprised at all they carry. The service is always friendly and helpful and the store is nicely laid out with updated displays. This review is based on one experience here. I could go back feel different, but based on this experience, I'll give 5 stars! When we walked in the door, an employee from behind the ice cream counter immediately asked if we were ready to order. Hubby made his choice fairly quickly. I needed more time and a couple samples. I tried the ice cream with peaches and the one with blueberries. The blueberry was my choice and it was so yummy!!! It wasn't as sweet as some ice creams and seemed lighter. I definitely enjoyed my small cup which was plenty for me. Hubby ordered a medium waffle cone with caramel truffle cheesecake ice cream. It was huge!!! He wished he had ordered the small, although he had no trouble finishing the medium. He said it was delicious!!! And unlike some ice cream places, we walked out spending about $10. If you are looking for a huge variety of ice cream flavors, this is your place! They have a few brands including Hudsonville, Ashby's, and Ben and Jerry's. Phenomenal service with kindness and a smile and if you walk away empty handed that's a serious problem. They have something for everyone, even if you are a diabetic they have a variety for also. Sugar free tastes like it isn't. YUM! I'm not a diabetic, but I still get the sugar free. A place you must visit when you come to Marine City. Wow! This place is legit. Tons of candy variety. Lots of homemade chocolate goodies, of which I'm bringing home some treats for my daughters. But the yummiest winner of the day was the gigantic scoop of ice cream in hand dipped waffle cones. Delicious. And huge portions. I just got one scoop and it was $3 plus the $1 cone. Trust me it was a bargain. I have a sweet tooth and even I couldn't quite make it to the bottom of this yumminess. I had the s'mores cone and when you bit in, there was a layer of marshmallow between the cone and chocolate. And that was topped with graham cracker pieces. Never mind that the ice cream was pretty good too. But that cone... so amazing. 100% will stop back if I'm in the area. read more

Awesome selection of candy! The ice cream is delicious!! My little guy had braces when we visited, so his selection was limited. Now that they are off, we will be back so he can have a bit more freedom to choose from all of the delightful treats! What a fun place to spend some time this afternoon. It was hard to make up my mind... CANDY... CANDY everywhere!! I finally decided on the chocolate covered Twinkies on a stick and some chocolate covered Oreos that were peaking out at me from behind the glass case. Food allergies are not a problem here. They gladly look up the ingredients and have a separate place for the ice cream that has no milk. Old fashion candies buy by the pound. They even forgive you if you don't follow the rules and mix the candies cost different amounts. read more

This place is wonderful!! They have all sorts of specialty and nostalgic candies. I found some chocolate 'rocks' that look like river stones to use for a novelty favor at a retirement party. Ice cream is yummy. Candy selection is amazing. But I've never actually been to an ice cream shop, or any business that caters to so many children, that has no public restroom facilities or even hand sanitizer. Employees send patrons into the park across the street to use a portable potty. It's just, well, gross. Having no public restroom is one thing. But most ice cream places have moist wipes or something to clean hands about to hold a cone or eat candy. Even grocery stores have them at entrances now. read more
