Our go-to for watching sports in Condesa, hands down. Three visits in now. We came for the Mexico World Cup match, showed up about 20 minutes early, and our server actually remembered us and grabbed us a killer table. The service here is just so good. Games are in English, the crowd is all travelers and expats, and when it is packed the energy is unreal. Apparently they do the Super Bowl and football too. Now the food. Eh. It is bar food. Burger was okay, hot dog okay, chicken sandwich was a no for me. You really are not coming here to eat. But the beers? Great. Four stars for a CDMX sports bar. read more

Irish pub with live music and a solid Michelada in the Condesa/Roma area. Nice staff. We had a pretty good time here and enjoyed the Irish Beer and Argentian band that was playing rock favorites. I was particularly happy that, after accidentally forgetting my camera here, I came back a few days later and they had it for me behind the register. Nice! I will be back! read more

This place has horrible service and a bad selection of Irish beer. I came here for St. Patrick's Day during a Pub Crawl and was looking forward to a Guinness beer. The waitress blocked me from ordering at the bar saying it was too crowded. I ordered 4 beers, she gave me the total and said I had to pay before getting them. I paid her and then it took 30 minutes to get our beers. She said that the Guinness was warm and that's why it took so long but other people received their Guinness beers before us. The final straw was when I found out she overcharged us for the beers. When I confronted her, she said she would give me the money but did not have change. She never gave me my money back and I will never go back here. read more

Hands down, one of the funnest pubs I've been too! Yes, I understand "funnest" is not a word, but it describes this place perfectly for me, so I'm gonna use it :-P I couldn't stay away on the weekends! There are several bars to choose from in Condesa, but I kept returning to Celtics. It does get crowded quickly, and I always had to wait to get a seat at the bar. I never sat at a table because they were always full. Perhaps they were reservation only? I don't know. OMG, and the music was ON POINT. 90's jams? Oldies? Mexican party jams? Classic rock? You name it, they played it. Maybe it was the Indio or Tecate, but I found myself dancing here every Saturday night I was in the city. If you're a visitor, come here! You're welcome. read more

This place was not that good. It looked good from the street. Granted it was a Sunday night on a holiday weekend so not a whole lot of options. The band was not that good and was playing way too much Music in English. The drinks weren't bad at all but the appetizer sampler was bad. What I thought were chicken fingers were fish fingers and not cooked all the way. When I asked for the bill the waitress brought it with the correct amount but then had handwritten what her idea of the top should be and put our total. Now I have been around Latin America a lot and 10% service charge is common but not that much in Mexico. She had added a 15.5% tip. We called her on it and said that is how they do it there... BS! Then on top of that when she brought the receipt to sign I said, "where is my card?" She then said, "we have to compare signatures on your card before I give it back to you." I told her to give me my card back immediately, signed her paper and left. This place was a disappointment. There are a lot better places on this street. Skip this place! read more

Watch out for their "online offers" including buy one beer and get the next for 1 peso, a group of us recently went to the Tamaulipas bar under the premise the offer would be honoured. The management reneged on the offer in quite an aggressive manner in the middle of the bar in front of the public. They eventually changed their mind and grudgingly relented, the however they turned up the volume of the ambient music so we would feel uncomfortable and leave. Luckily Condesa is filled with many bars and restaurants that are more customer oriented. read more
