However, this year we went in a month and a half before prom and prom is not Mother's Day weekend this year and were again turned away and told to "come back later." There was no effort to help, no attempt to take a future order. It really feels like this shop simply doesn't want the business. On top of that, the staff came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. If you're looking for a place that values customers and is willing to help you plan ahead, I would recommend going elsewhere.

I didn't realize she could be even more kind-hearted. She knew I was having a rough morning as I just picked up my grandmother's ashes from next door (Allen Mortuary), and she was incredibly empathetic. I picked up the flower pedals right before we were about to head to SF to disperse my grandmother's ashes, and she could tell I was struggling. She had tears in her eyes as I spoke with her. That's how you know you chose the right small business. I'll never go to a big corporation for flowers again.
