Was visiting family in Central California and went to The Tarmac for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The variety of food from the trucks outside was real good and the selections were real tasty. The vibe from the staff and patrons was awesome. Felt like hangout with neighbors. The beers were great, but the Mocha ( or chocolate) Martini took the prize at lunch. The DJ playing that afternoon was awesome! Had the crowd going with 90's and early 2000s jams! Great experience!

Nice location with lots of seating indoor and out. This place is great, but the Oakland dust food truck that parks here Fri and Sat. Night is what brings us here from 50+ miles away to eat! This BBQ is amazing! Average meal cost is $15 per person. The brisket nachos are heavenly and the jaw dropper (brisket with mac n cheese sandwich) as well as the pork Mac n cheese are a must have. That being said you can't go wrong with anything they make here!! Definitely worth the drive and a regular visit. Truck can be popular so make sure if you're planning on trying it out you are close to 5pm. They serve till they're out.

Nice place. Many food trucks in the parking area to get a meal to bring inside. Good indoor/outdoor seating area. A few tv's to watch sports with fire pits for smaller conversations. Tried Galaxy's Best Kept Secret ipa. Fantastic half pour.

Date night at "The Tarmac" after an afternoon of flying.

The Tarmac is a great brewery for dates. Looking for food trucks?! Look no further with several surrounding and many types of food available. Kid friendly with outside games and seating available outside, campfires and lounge chairs to watch the kids play catch on the lawn. Service is great with friendly staff and history all over the walls. Check out Castle Air Force Base photos from WW2 and more! What a spot!

The wife & I came here tonight for the comedy show. The show was good. We enjoyed the activities available before the show, and the comedy was of the pro comic level, but obviously not Mark Normand levels, but what do your expect for $10 tix? THE COMEDY SHOW: More entertaining, and cheaper than a movie. The environment was very casual. There was so much space, a person could choose lawn chairs 0-20' cocktail tables and lounge chairs 30' from stage to 75 yds away in beer gardens. THE VENUE: Under appreciated: The private venue area was a great evening for the Rudy Ortiz comedy show. Super close and involved, or right up front was a choice. Bathrooms were very nice and right in the private venue.

Nice "Diversion" from to Day2 Day Atwater Life. There's a Bar ( No foot rest) and if Luck is on your side you will be served otherwise there's a line 5+ Food Trucks. Seriously, The options are great well, well The Bartender noticed me and Yes She gets a Tip!

Awesome setup. Went with a friend on a chill Saturday afternoon, people kept pouring in. There was a wood fire pizza gig there. I didn't get the name they come out now n then. The pizza looked delicious. I had just had lunch so I didn't get to try it. The Tarmac has awesome seating inside and out! I didn't get a chance to try their selection of craft beers. It was a beautiful day at the Tarmac!

I'm a big fan of Tarmac! Has become my local hangout. The staff here rock! Everyone is super professional and very friendly. There's a farmer's market out back on Thursdays and sometimes bands on Fridays. Fridays are super fun and busy. Great dj as well with a small dance floor. Since there are food trucks, you can pretty much eat your dinner here and chill the rest of the night. Tarmac is also kid and dog friendly with lots of area outside to sit. There is a wine bar and other beer bars in back as well. Sports are playing on the multiple TV's so you're able to keep up with sports events easily here. Masks are not required here at present.

This server definitely deserves 5 stars! Now, the food. We heard good things about the burgers. We didn't have a burger however, we had a Jamwich? I'm not sure if that's the name but it's the fried chicken sandwich with various sauces. And we also tried the santa fe grilled chicken sandwich. I'm not sure of the name on this one either. The fried chicken sandwich apparently comes with two sauces. I only saw one and asked for it on the side because I like to taste the ingredients first. Well, it come with A LOT of the other sauce - maybe a Chipotle type sauce. I mean it was drowned in the sauce. The chicken was cooked in appearance but it ate like it needed more time in the fryer. It was kind of tough to the bite. If you're a chef or cook, you know what I'm talking about. The garlic fries are basic sidewinder fries dressed with parm and garlic. The other chicken sandwich was actually more enjoyable but the fries on that one were very very subpar. They do give large portions and the food looks good in appearance. We may come back to try the burgers since that's what was recommended.

Located off Geer and Tuolomne, Jams @ 209 is a cute little sports bar that also serves an extensive menu including wings, burgers, pizza, and tacos. Every wall (and even right outside the establishment) is lined with TVs all playing different sports and music videos with a huge focus on 80's music (perfect for the Gen X-ers who seem to frequent here). Upon entering, we seated ourselves at a corner booth and a few minutes later did a nice lady provide us with menus. The SO had ran to the restroom and the nice lady asked me at the table if we wanted to order drinks. She upsold a rum and coke (the SO's favorite) not because she had asked the SO on his way to the restroom like I had thought, but because they have a happy hour special on them and a few other drinks. What a coincidence! The special was $5 for certain drinks between 2-7PM. The nice lady also tried upselling me to get a drink for myself. I feel like after saying no the first time, she shouldn't have pushed with an "are you sure?" two times after. We ended up ordering: Onion rings - great fry and crisp batter. One of the reasons I chose to come here. Mac and Smash burger with side salad - uses Kraft mac-n-cheese type noodles that were a little bland. But with everything put together (pepper jack, fried onion strings, and chipotle sauce), the burger was delicious. SO was impressed with the side salad lol It wasn't a basic garden-type, but more spinach, cucumber, cheese, croutons, etc. PB&J Protein Power burger with sidewinder fries - double patty made this reaaaal meaty. There was a subtle pb&j flavor which was nice, but wish it had more. Sidewinder fries were like the jojo's version of curly fries - thick and potato-y. All portions were big and I thought proportional to the price (esp in this economy). What soured our meal was when we received the bill. There were two line items for +$0.75 for cheddar cheese. I spoke with our nice lady server and she said that it was because we got cheese on our burgers... *question marks??* 1. The item description for both our burgers already include cheese 2. We didn't ask to sub any type of, or add more cheese 3. If we were going to be charged for cheese, we weren't prompted about it beforehand. We didn't get the charges taken off until after these 3 statements were made. I get it, $1.50 isn't much but it's the principle of sneaking in $1-2 for something we didn't ask for. It makes me think they do this often at the expense of patrons under the influence. Just a warning for future customers, double check your bill!!
