They run that portion extremely clean, organized and flawless in itself. Where the true value came from was dealing with my insurance company. There were many obstacles that they overcame in which I couldn't seem to handle on my own. I had suggested their services to many neighbors. Some had the same experience. The service provided was excellent. When Sam heard we had roofing materials fall on the hood of our car and scuff it all up, he took care of getting it buffed out for us. We contacted Cenco Roofing after they had posted an advertisement at our child's school. We needed a roof replacement and were initially drawn to the fact that they were a local neighborhood business. After signing the contract, the sales manager became extremely difficult to reach, was rude, and did not follow through on promises. The production manager over-ordered materials that sat on our property for months after the completion of the roof - the insurance was also charged for the excess materials. Cenco sub-contracts out their crew who damaged two windows and a patio table. Several of our neighbors also used Cenco and also had a poor experience. Cenco is not transparent with their invoicing and submits different material/labor costs to insurance providers. A neighbor with the exact same roof (same home/floorplan) was charged thousands more. Lastly, Cenco never provided a final invoice until 6 months after the completion of the project and had the audacity to include late fees on the invoice. I would 1000% not recommend Cenco Roofing. read more

We called CenCo Roofing to fix a roof leak in November 2023, and we paid for the entire roof to be replaced then. They only replaced half the roofdeck, and it leaked, damaging items stored in that room. CenCo sent a rep to assess the leaks and damage, and the rep denied that the roof was improperly installed (only half was replaced). Instead of replacing the entire roof as we paid for, CenCo dispatched a guy with a caulk gun who tried to repair the leaky roof deck for an hour and a half. Again, more rain and more leakage. Eight weeks ago, another rep came out and assured us that the roof job was improperly done and that the company would make it right. We've been told repeatedly that "management must approve the roof replacement." Two weeks ago, we were told we'd been scheduled but a wet, heavy spring snow delayed the job, and there's been NO RESPONSE. Be very careful if you hire CenCO to replace a roof. They don't honor their warranties. read more

I am normally not one to write reviews but unfortunately I need to make other folks aware of how poor our experience with this Company and beg them to exercise caution when selecting this provider as there are plenty of other providers in the Denver area that will perform much higher quality work at a lower price. We discovered a leak in our roof over a month ago and called Cenco to help examine the house and provide a quote to fix. They were on time with their inspection and said the problem was a very straight forward fix and they they could fix ASAP. They did ask for a deposit upfront prior to any work performed which is a big no no in this industry but we decided to go ahead with it given the urgency here. The roof crew came twice and didn't fix the problem whatsoever, in fact they made it worse. After they "finished the job" in their mind, the business has stopped responding to any and all contact from my wife and I despite the fact that they asked for deposit upfront and charged us for a premium package. My wife and I called Cenco for over 2.5 weeks and we were always told by the customer support line or answering service that we could expect a call back within a day. We have probably called Cenco over 10 times by now and not received a response from anyone at the Company. I have worked with several companies & contractors in my life and have never before witnessed behavior like this - it's the most unprofessional thing I have ever been party to. I have worked with several other roofing companies in the Denver area (Reitz Roofing, etc.) - all of whom perform higher quality work and are much more responsive than Cenco. At this point our experience has been so poor that were left with no choice but to file a claim with the BBB, let other potential customers know how this Company operates and take our business to someone much more reliable. We really wanted to like this business as the initial person who showed up for the inspection was incredibly kind - but their performance has made that impossible. read more

Installation Services Production Manager was rude to me and told me to mind my business, and that he wouldn't talk to me because I was not the client's POA. Client hired me to take care of household matters, including hiring CENCO to install shingles. Production Mgr., Bernie, told me he spoke with client today, 6/12, and that it was ok for Bernie to call State Farm and cancel insurance check that they mailed to coolant week. I spoke with client and he said he didn't want it canceled. I called Bernie back and he said he spoke with client again and said it is ok. Bernie is exploiting the elderly, confusing him. I called local State Farm insurance agent and he said Bernie can't stop payment on the check, he said he'd call Bernie, and also call claims to tell them not to stop payment. Bernie was just totally rude to me and I think trying to financially exploit elderly client! read more

They are easily the best contractors I have worked with and it's easy to see why they are one of the top roofing companies in the Denver Metro area. When other companies kept knocking on our doors and giving us the high pressure sales pitch ("if you sign today, I can offer you this price or if you put a sign in your yard I can take this much off") without providing any real information about the damage, their solution, or their construction process, we knew we had to do our own research. Cenco made our short list and after meeting with them, we knew we had found the right company for us. They were detailed, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable. We called Cenco when we were concerned about hail at our last home. It was a massive storm! They came out, did a full inspection with videos that they showed us and were honest about the roof. We have a flat foam roof that is coated, and Matt provided us with solid recommendations and pricing even though it was not work he was set up to complete for us. At no cost to us! That gave us great peace of mind when we completed the repairs. I appreciated honest feedback and will definitely call Cenco if we have any roof issues in the future! read more

They worked with my insurance company extensively and even pointed out that I was supposed to get more money for something. What a nightmare it was dealing with this company!!! Roof was installed in June 2019 and January 2020 I'm still working with them to get the pending items resolved. I've lost count of how many times I've had to have them come back out. I emailed the owner of the company to tell him how frustrated I am with Cenco and he never even bothered to reply. Emails I've sent have gone unanswered by other members of his company and I've let my insurance company know to drop Cenco from their list of recommended roofing companies. 7 month's I waited for repairs to get done and now that they finally are, they want to come to my house to pick up the final payment. DEFINITELY STEER CLEAR of this business! If I could leave zero stars I would. I posted photos in this review that show just a portion of the damage they caused as a result of poorly executed work. I had a leak in my roof after a snowstorm in February of last year. I contacted Cenco Roofing Services and they sent a sales manager, Anthony, to give me a quote. I agreed to the quote and Cenco had a crew come out to remove the wood on my rooftop porch in order to fix the leak. After the workers removed the wood, Anthony told me he would be doing the work himself and that his bosses knew about this and had sanctioned it. I became really concerned when Anthony would only come over once every couple of weeks and nothing seemed to be getting done on a job that I was initially told would only take a couple of days. I was in contact with Deann, their customer account manager, at Cenco and called her multiple times from February-May to ask when Anthony would be done and to express concern that the work hadn't been completed. She was extremely unhelpful, and I later discovered Anthony wasn't licensed to do the work. By mid-May, the leak still hadn't been repaired, Anthony had broken my rooftop skylight when he accidentally dropped a board on it, his attempts to install the rooftop boards had resulted in about a dozen holes in my roof, he had scuffed up my rooftop boards, the unrepaired leak had destroyed some of the flooring in my bedroom when it continued to drip, and tacking was dripping off the roof and onto the concrete of my front steps, which Anthony damaged in his attempt to power wash it. After a while he stopped coming completely and I learned that he had been fired. Cenco eventually sent out another production manager to manage repairs and assess the damage, which had now grown exponentially. I tried multiple times to speak to Cenco's general manager, Matt. He never returned my calls and his office manager was dismissive when I called. I discovered other reviews that mention how Matt didn't return calls from other frustrated customers. It took almost a YEAR for them to complete the job and they continued to make missteps: they ordered the incorrect boards, workers installed damaged boards, Cenco oversaw work that wasn't up to code and had to be fixed, the drywaller didn't patch my ceiling correctly, the painter created a noticeable difference in the patched vs. unpatched areas on my ceiling, one of the workers was caught peeing on my neighbor's garage, portions of paint were stripped off my front door when a worked tried to power wash again, and there were multiple times when workers didn't show up to work. There was extremely poor communication of what was going to happen and when with regards to the repairs. Save yourself the money and frustration and DEFINITELY hire someone else. read more

I recently purchased a home at the end of 2019. I called Cenco when we were concerned about hail damage on our new home since it was built in the 1950s. Cenco came out, did a full inspection with videos they showed us and were honest with the roof's condition. Although the roof is not new, nothing needed to be done at the time. No charge for the inspection, and it gave me peace of mind that our new home was still in good condition. I don't want others to go through what we did, wasting time and money with this company. Our Cenco rep/salesperson gave us a lot of incorrect information about the recall of our asphalt shingles, the cost of removing solar panels, Denver code, the condition of our roof etc. The rep contradicted herself on important details from one visit to the next, had to re-do things, forgot about 2 appointments (costing me money from time taken off work), claimed email "got lost" and said/did things that were just odd and unprofessional. Because of false promises, we patiently stuck with Cenco for 5 months until our "won't cost you anything" roof replacement turned into a quote for $15K. And when they went up on our roof the 3rd time they somehow ripped holes in 2 window screens. The owner never responded to a phone message or an email he was cc'd on describing just some of our negative experiences and questionable practices by his employees. We didn't want anything so I was was shocked he wouldn't care to find out more details. Times are tough enough right now. Customers deserve to be treated honestly and fairly. read more
