I was not told about anything other then my fee every two weeks and a small fee if they weren't paid on time. I started with a two week trial where I go at about 3-5 AM because of my work hours so I was never able to dee workers to cancel my membership. My key fob stopped working and yet I was charged each week more and more when I asked to cancel I was told I could not. I would have to pay a 600$ fee to cancel my membership or I could bend over backwards and pay the 200$ fee to keep my membership going or my credit score would inflict it. Definitely get a membership with them you will regret it!

They have one instructor per group which is fine but most of the time the instructors are talking amongst each other and don't pay attention the students at all, or they are hyper focused on one child only. It isn't fair that we're paying good money to have our children not being taught to improve their skills. Something needs to change.

Everyone is so nice there, and they always say "Good Morning Shelby" and I scream it with them once a while and then we all laugh and then it is time to really WORK. They push you to more than you think you can do. You just trust them and go with the flow. They are trying to make you the best you can be. I have timed it so that when I run there I am out front waiting for them. They a maybe a mile away so I run there in maybe idk 5-7 minutes. Combined with yoga (weight of my body work when on the floor), running there and back ane muscular and weight work here, and my running, I am 54 and the best shape of my life (I was in the best shape for many seafront when I was 6 up until I went to college, but that is a whole other story).

They also offer a ten punch card so you can try out the gym before you make a commitment. Those who workout at Elite seem to be connected members of the local community. I find that the clientele is friendly, respectful, and fitness-focused. Lastly, the gym is located in a very cute area of Western Springs. You make it work, and with the facility and the equipment it has, it is well equipped for you to make your health your priority. Due to the limited space, you'll regularly end up shooting around with 3 to 5 people on a single hoop. If you do luck into a time when the court isn't overcrowded, you'll have to endure 2 incredibly annoying sounds ad nauseam: the percussive sound of a pickleball being hit every 3 seconds (cuts through noise canceling), and boomer pickleball players screaming after every volley with the intensity of having just witnessed a walk-off grand slam in a World Series game. The final straw was being told to leave the basketball court due to it being reserved as spectator space for pickleball (see photos). Life Time is no longer a viable place for basketball. Like a casino, the current focus is on extracting as much revenue as possible from a demographic that has little time left. Hopefully, the trend fades away in unison with its primary demographic.
