This review is just for the classes-- All the yoga instructors are amazing here! Sarah, Ann, Cassie, Ruchi. ( there are more yoga teachers , I have not had them all for a class) What ever pace/vibe/music you like, there is a yoga teacher for it. You can even go to the Wheaton Vasa and to follow the teachers you like, sometimes they teach there too! I love them all!! The kid care is great too, I put my son there when he wasnt in school. The dance fitness classes at night are fun, I like Marchanne at Wheaton. Been going about a year, but have yet to try Studio Red or cycling! Hoping to them soon, just to check it out. read more

Im truly impressed by how beautiful this gym is! I took a Zumba class, and the studio for group exercise was fantastic--spacious and inviting. The gym is well-equipped with a wide range of equipment for everyone looking to work out. There's also a large area dedicated to wellness, with a sauna on one side and a steam room on the other, which is a great touch. The bathrooms and locker rooms are spotless, and I loved how many mirrors there are throughout the space. I absolutely loved the experience! If Orlando had a gym like this, I would definitely get a membership. Unfortunately, we don't have one in Florida, but I highly recommend this place to anyone nearby. read more

This is a really solid gym. For a reasonably priced membership, you have access to a wide variety of equipment. There is enough that when the machines I want are being used, I still have plenty of other options to utilize during my workout. The overall gym and locker rooms are always clean, which definitely enhances my experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful!! I also like their app and how there are classes available. One thing that would be nice to add is having complimentary towels-- both small towels for during your workout, and bath towels for showering. read more

I am a snowbird and put my account on hold which cost $15. A month later, I canceled my account and they charge me another month fee of $27. I called to dispute that I hadn't used the gym for a month already, but they said policy and unwilling to work with me. As a result, I will never renew with this fitness center. This place is a scam. You will end up spending hundreds as they charge you a random $60 annual payment on a month as opposed to your actual membership payment price of $12. They charged me multiple times for CLASSES I WENT TO AND MADE IN PERSON, don't charge people for making it in a second late, we all have lives don't we? The staff I met in person is nice, everyone over the phone is just rude and unhelpful. Any call to complaint ends with NO SOLUTION because they have policies against being nice to their customers. This is probably one of the worst experiences ever. It's hard to do a workout when the entire gym has no air conditioning. The group fitness room was insufferable and almost impossible to make it through a class and even worse when you're blacking out and getting cramps from the heat And as much money as this place makes you would think they could get the air conditioning fixed and this has been going on for a while now. I'm a new member at this location due to the fact my LA Fitness closed down I was impressed with the equipment at Vasa and the size of the club. However, I feel it's overrun with too many members and most of them are on their iPhones monopolizing equipment. Members are waiting two and three deep for specific piece of equipment and when you ask how long they're going to take your rudely addressed and told to be patient "you'll have to wait" I've never in my 55 plus years as a member of any gym have had to deal with attitudes like this.There has to be some kind of control/policy on the use of cell phones while working out. I never leave reviews for anything but this is so frustrating. Ive had my membership for maybe 2 weeks now and cancelled already. My first day going, this teenage boy with curly hair who works at the front desk (literally) yelled at me and my boyfriend in front of the entire gym because he thought we didn't check in. Not to mention, Vasa is ALWAYS busy. Sometimes I can't even get in because there's literally nowhere to park. It sucks that I had to cancel because I actually thought the amenities were pretty nice. Not worth paying $45 a month though to be yelled at by employees and not even be able to get parking. read more

Unfortunately I was victim of this gym front desk employees. On October 14th I had to canceled my membership because of how rude and mean the staff was being towards me. They were laughing straight at my face and being very rude. Thank god in other peoples reviews shows that they witnessed that happed to me. Instructors are amazing, staff is ok but not very helpful. Parking is TERRIBLE, especially in the evening. It's not a big gym so it gets very crowded, hence the parking lot, and in the dark it gets very scary, reckless drivers trying to get in and out of the premises. Prone to car accidents, which happens often. Be very careful and cautious! read more

This gym is criminal. They charged me for 6 months even when it was a simple free trial, they sent me to collections and now I have to deal with the horrid Aldison & Associates! Do not EVER go here, it's a waste of your money and they'll find any way they can to charge you. There's fees on canceling, freezing your account and that $10/month? That gets bumped to $50 after a few months. Not to mention, the gym itself is incredibly stinky, nobody puts the equipment back, the staff are mindless zombies, too many kids are in there, the equipment is always taken, it's very crowded, and the gym is way too loud. Would never recommend this to anyone, $50 for a shit gym? No thanks. VASA and their evil debt collectors can burn in hell. read more

You wouldn't think it would be so hard to make a new gym like VASA an amazing place,but apparently it's not as easy as you'd think. There are TVs all over the place,not one has the news on, and not one has the close captioning on! I also don't understand why the employees,trainers included,don't pitch in to put equipment back where it belongs.Ive had to roam around on a regular basis looking for dumbbells. I went in to get a massage in one of the massage chairs and one of the TVs was absolutely blaring! If the massage chair room is supposed to be relaxing and therapeutic ,shouldn't the lights be dimmed and the sound down on the TVs. Disappointing,I'm considering going back to my old gym. read more

Two women arrived to front desk to checked in when the receptionists refused to let one of them in because she did not have her ID with her, and literally laughed at her face of the older woman because she did not know how to defend herself, and it is not the first time I have seen those bad customer service at this location. I recently joined but already regret. There's people filming themselves with their phones EVERYWHERE. Some of them even set up tripods! And worse, there's people in the women's locker posing in front of the mirror taking their booty selfies for instagram. It's one thing to maybe video yourself to check your form or send to a coach, but I really don't think that's what's going on here for the most part. I value my privacy and don't want to be caught in the background of someone's social media post. And I refuse to change in the locker room due to the photos being taken in there. I'm currently looking for a new gym, as I have been to a lot in the area and have never seen cameras being used to this extent, and every other gym has rules about photos in the locker room. read more

I joined before this gym opened and I regret it. I have never felt comfortable working out here. Only super fit athletes go here and everyone seems so judgmental. This is not a friendly place for people who are just trying to live a healthy lifestyle or lose weight. If you do the in-body scan it compares you to everyone at the gym which really kills your motivation. Also, when I first joined, the front desk guy signed me up for the most expensive membership which ended up charging me an extra $25. He signed the iPad for me too. Ridiculous. Today, my daughter was harassed walking out of vasa at 125 army trail rd Glendale heights IL 60139 in the parking lot. Thank God a couple saw and pretended. They knew her and got her back inside. The guy was calling her names did step inside the doors. She did not think about calling the police right away she just wanted to get home. The guy who got her inside did walk her to her car. The guy was still calling her the B word as the nice gentleman walked to her car. When she got home I did call Vasa they . They said the parking lot is not their responsibility. Because they don't own it they don't care about their customers safety. women need to be aware of of this location. They said this man's around all the time he's harmless. Walking up to a girl who's only 4'11" and harassing her because he wouldn't talk to him is not a nice guy. Are we supposed to wait until he kills someone or hurt someone. Vasa manager wouldn't even review the video to show that he stepped inside the doors and calling her names. This is a very dangerous location. Women beware. The police have been called they are aware by us. We still have to go make a report. However, it is very shameful that they don't care about their customer safety. I don't care if it's not their parking lot they could've called the police themselves seeing my daughter upset and nervous. This is not a place I would ever do business with. read more

Customer service at 1-801-426-8644 is always closed called them from 7 a.m, 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and at 10 am, and NO answer. WT? is going on. They tell you to send an email and when you do it comes back as a robot response. WT? Does the corporation want to lose membership? The front desk at the GYM cannot assist and direct all billing issues to this #. This is super frustrating. Why would they have it listed as Customer Service when in fact the don't provide any of that? I went to visit the GDH Gym to address this issue. the workers are super rude and racist. we had a misunderstanding with the rules and regulations but they were being so rude about it. We never had an issue with using a guest pass before so I don't know why they were making a big deal about it now. My sister who is over 21 bought a membership so we could go together and I'm under 18, we never had a problem before. i usually dont write reviews nor have in a long time, but this place really pissed me off and have been fuming since i left. where and how do you pick the people that run the front desk? what's the hiring process? do you pick the most unqualified and incompetent people after an interview? the idiots at the front desk are extremely rude. youd think after all that trouble of opening up a new gym, theyd at least hire customer friendly people to greet you. i nearly wanted to smack and slap the idiot that i dealt with right in the center of his goofy face. it's almost as if they mock you for any questions that you ask (yeah excuse me for wasting your time, jerks). at the same time the other two donkey-brained lackeys at the front desk just laugh for no reason. like what the f- is so funny? is there a mirror nearby or something? the owner should rename this establishment to "Vasa Zoo" or perhaps "Vasa Circus" as their front desk employees would be perfectly suitable either as an animal or a clown. it's almost as if they dont want you to join their gym.
