I stayed at the Oasis Resort at Centennial Plaza from June 15-18, 2026. Overall, I would recommend staying here, but I think it's important for future guests to know what to expect because this is not what many people envision when they hear the word "resort." First, this is not an all-inclusive resort, so be prepared to purchase food and beverages separately. The property itself is beautiful and massive, with several different buildings spread across the campus. Unfortunately, communication before arrival could be much better. The only email I received was my reservation confirmation. I never received a pre-arrival email with helpful information, a thank-you email after my stay, a request to complete a guest survey, or even a final billing statement via email, which is something many hotels and resorts routinely provide. Because the property is so large, I also think the confirmation email should clearly explain which building guests should report to for check-in and where it is located. If you're visiting from out of town, there's no way to know this. After arriving, I had to call the resort just to find out where I was supposed to check in. When I booked my reservation, I requested extra towels, extra pillows, and extra blankets. Upon arrival, only the extra pillows were in my room. The information sheet provided at check-in was helpful and included a map of the property and a list of amenities. However, one item advertised was the Dancing Fountain Water and Lights Show, scheduled nightly from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. During my entire stay, the fountain never operated once. My room overlooked the fountain, so I know it was never on. If this attraction was temporarily unavailable, guests should have been informed during check-in or the information sheet should have been updated. One of my biggest disappointments was housekeeping. My room was never serviced during my stay, which was unexpected. I stayed in Building 3, and while my room itself was exceptionally nice, the interior hallways of the building had an excessive number of spiders. Housekeeping and maintenance should pay closer attention to keeping the buildings clean and treating for insects, especially spiders, since many guests are uncomfortable around them and some species can pose safety concerns. Another thing travelers should know is that there are no bell services or staff available to assist with luggage. Guests are responsible for transporting all of their own bags to and from their rooms. There are also no covered drive-up awnings where you can load or unload your vehicle while protected from the weather. Unfortunately, it rained for most of my stay, so packing and unpacking the car meant getting completely soaked. Despite these issues, I did enjoy the beauty of the property, and my room was comfortable and well-appointed. However, for travelers who frequently vacation at full-service resorts in other states or destinations, this experience is quite different from what many would expect from a resort. With improved communication, more attentive housekeeping, better maintenance, and a few additional guest services, this could become an outstanding destination. Until then, I would recommend it with managed expectations. Edit after response from the business manager: I appreciate the apology. However, I must say that your response falls well short of what I would expect from a Business Manager. My review wasn't simply about unmet expectations, it outlined several specific operational concerns that deserve acknowledgment. I shared these concerns because I believe they are legitimate opportunities for improvement, not because I expected perfection. I also want to be candid about something that stood out to me. After reading other reviews, it appears to me that guests who left less-than-satisfactory reviews often received more personalized, thoughtful responses that addressed the issues they raised. As a person of color, my experience felt different. Instead of receiving a response that acknowledged my specific concerns, I received what felt like a generic, one-sentence reply. Whether intentional or not, that difference in engagement left me feeling that my feedback was not valued to the same degree. As the Business Manager, your response represents the resort. Simply saying, "We're sorry we did not meet your expectations," without addressing any of the concerns I took the time to document, sends the message that guest feedback is being dismissed rather than taken seriously. I genuinely believe Centennial Plaza has tremendous potential, and I even recommended the property despite my disappointments. My goal was never to criticize for the sake of criticizing. It was to provide honest, constructive feedback that could help improve the experience for future guests. I hope that feedback receives the thoughtful consideration it deserves. read more

Came here for a conference. Seemed like a good place and that was my first impression. First off, the key cards did not work. I called the main desk and a nice lady delivered me working cards at the lobby area of my building. Then I found out that the TV had no service. I reported it to the main front desk in person. She said she would send a repair guy. Got back to the room later and no TV service. I reported three times and as of last day of my week long stay---it had not been repaired. The room cleaning is halfa$$. They do not refill the complimentary coffee or water and they will completely skip the cleaning and trash collection. All reported but never corrected. read more

Loud music blaring in the hallway at night. The speaker was right outside my door. The door to my room was not well fitted and noise penetrated under the door and on one side. I called the front desk every night after 10:00 PM for four nights and they were unable to change noise volume or turn it off, except for one night they reduced the noise volume. The front desk said they would call security to reduce noise but it was only corrected once. They refreshed the room on one of four days with new towels and water bottles. Upon leaving, they did not email me a statement copy, although the charges are pending on my account. The grounds were beautiful and the facilities nice, but I would never stay there again. read more

This was an incredible quick trip for our family of four. The grounds were beautiful. Employees were friendly. The value is outstanding. The water park is for guests only. After a full day of waterslides and the lazy river. We grabbed an ice cream at the sweet shack and enjoyed the dancing water show in the evening before heading back to the room with a hot pizza from the Oasis grill. Can't wait to head back! read more

Amazing! Our family of 5 will be back! Spacious, clean, beautiful rooms (Suite room had a King bed and bunk beds with a 2nd tv-perfect!) Everything on property to have a great time - Water park with swim up bar had adult and kids drinks...restaurants with delicious food and now they just opened on site brand new 2-story arcade and mini golf called Hippie Fish. We loved every minute here. Didn't have to leave the property, just relaxed and enjoyed a quick family trip. read more

What a relaxing place! I wish I could live at the Centennial Plaza. This place had it all including a pool with a waterpark for the kids and a swim-up bar for the adults. Voila! The whole family is entertained! Also, the beach is right across the street; and the location is convenient if you're considering the overcrowded Biloxi hotels. The room was fantastic and luxurious! I was grateful for the huge bathroom and full-length mirror. The outside view was amazing too. They had a gigantic gorgeous fountain outside of my window! During the day it was fit for the White House. At night, it lit up like Disney World. It was difficult to leave the room. I actually wanted to vacation at the hotel. When you go on vacation, you want it to be worth the cost. Overall, I'd say it was money well-spent. There wasn't a frown in sight. read more

Stand in the Grand Centennial part of the resort, the Oasis is closer to the pool and a little More per room. We come once or twice a year and this has been the better experiences we have had. The rooms were very clean and surprising big. Pool area is always fun. Little tip for all the families, recommend getting two queen sizes beds for your room, it allows for up to 4 adults to have pool passes, and all children are included. Most times you can't check into your room until 3-4pm, but you have pool access from 9am-9pm on your check in day and your check out day and every day in between your stay! Only complaint is I wish they would start expanding their pool area, hopefully for the future! read more

Bloody sheets on both beds and pillow cases and Chet the manager wouldn't offer me a refund because he said it was fresh blood that was not on the bed before my arrival. So what does he do inspect the sheets? What is fresh blood? That place is disgusting and not safe. The construction workers use the bathrooms in the hotel. The doors remain unlock with no managers on duty to monitor the goings and comings. The pool attendants were rude and confrontational. The so called supervisor got so close to me I had to tell her to back off and we had it out. The managers didn't want to hear anything I said instead said I could go and get a refund but Chet the general manager refused to give me a refund because he felt the blood was fresh on the sheets. We stayed here last year & loved it , came this May 17-19 they had to move us said our original building is under construction .. they then put us on 3rd floor with only one bed we needed two but they had a non pull out couch so we made it work .. the floor was completely stained all over , burn marks in 5 places on carpet , the chair was grungy and stained , shower drained all water into bathroom floor , causing tile to mold and also baseboard had black mold .. we let the front desk know but still haven't gotten a response . Honestly so let down. Was looking forward to this trip and when we got there the room was run down, the furniture has been excessively used, the carpet is matted and gross. For what you end up paying after all the hidden fees, this place is disappointing.I wish I had known I was going to be charged so much, being deceiving to your customers doesn't get them to come back. Be aware. You used to be able to get your arm bands for the waterpark before 4:00. This change did not appear on their website. We had to spend 7 hours on the beach waiting on checkin. I have traveled 37 countries, lived overseas for 7 years. My experience Grand Centennial is clearly one of the low points of my travel, and I would rate the overall quality as extremely poor; customer support as extremely poor; and the value as extremely poor. From the moment of arrival, the staff was inexperienced, untrained, unprofessional. The check in is located at the clubhouse for all guest.The door to access the "front desk" do not open easily. There are no staff available to assist with anything, including luggage. The are no automatic opening doors at any entrance; this hinders movement of luggage, and handicapped access. A wheel chair and/or luggage carrier will NOT fit through the doors. The way finding/signage is poor and sub-standard I was given the wrong keys and had to walk the half-mile to the "Club House" and get a new set of keys for our correct room. The front desk was "sorry" but claimed "it is not on us". The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows (at total of 4) were of low quality. The room had the following issues: The safe did not work The drawer where the safe is located would not close since the drawer tracks were broken The towels were wet The room was dirty with rug stains, pretzels under the table, cheap plastic glasses (2) and small bottles of water The thermostat did not function properly The cleaning service did not leave us cups or glasses when they cleaned The bathroom door would not close There are no vending machines or kiosk to buy additional water, food, or other items We ate breakfast on Saturday at the Wine Bar and the food was mediocre at best The Courtyard: about the size of a football field, there were only 4 chairs available to sit on; they are filthy dirty with bird poop, there is no shade, and the tables looked like the chairs in complete dis-repair. I could go on, but you get that our experience was unsatisfactory. I don't see that I could ever recommend this facility to anyone. read more

We stayed one night at Centennial Plaza and while the pool area made it worth it, the room itself was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It was very tight with my family of 3. For example, when you open the bathroom door, the door nearly touches the toilet so maneuvering to try and enter the bathroom is a weird challenge. There is a narrow lane to walk between the furniture so just not a lot of space. Due to this, we avoided our room pretty much our entire stay and only used it for sleeping and showering. However, my 2-year-old had a blast at the water playground and that is really what we went for so it made it worth the money. The restaurant on site was pretty good and very convenient. read more

We have since given the hotel a above and beyond review with or family, friends and Co-workers. This trip we book a 10 night stay. EVERYDAY thus far we had to ask for towels. WHEN housekeeping does comes in the morning they will leave "1 set "of towels for two adults. My husband went to the desk and was told about the sanitizing team didn't bring enough and we issued each room towels accordingly. Very dry and unconcerned. She had a so what attitude. Ok, let me start by saying that this new destination hotel resort is beautifully done! The property is gorgeous and the atmosphere is divine!! We visited for the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff members are very friendly and professional and they have made this a wonderful experience. The lobby in building one is very nice and has an exceptional wine bar. This is a very posh place to stay when you visit the Gulf Coast. There are large bathrooms with walk-in tiled showers and beds are heavenly. Only downfall is that there is a train track that runs parallel to the back of the property but there were no trains heard during the night. There's even a Chapel event center on the front of the property with a beach front view! I will definitely stay here for future visits! read more

This plaza is pretty nice. The price in the room was decent. $170 a night for the weekend . It has a pool, swim up bar, lazy river , two large slides , and kiddy pool area . It has a restaurant on site. Golf cart access for the use to travel on premises . The staff was very helpful and friendly. It is across the highway from the beach. Before checkout of a two night stay, my daughter pulled the sheets all the way back to look for her ear buds in the bed. What we found is that the sheets were BLOODY! Neither my daughter or I were bleeding. MY DAUGHTER SLEPT ON DIRTY BLOODY SHEETS at this hotel!! I was offered an irritated apology from a barefoot front desk clerk, a refund of$60.08 and a lie from the clerk stating that my refund would have to come from Expedia. After contacting Expedia, I was told since I booked through them(Expedia), but paid at the hotel, the hotel will refund. The Expedia rep. was nice enough to contact the hotel on my behalf. The hotel refused to refund my stay. If you try your luck with this place, don't trust that your sheets have been washed. Chet and Randy the hotel emperor's, are the rudest people I've met in all my time on the coast, truly awful management expecting a young disabled man to cook, serve, bartend, do maintenance, cut costs, do inventory and risk life and limb in an unsafe working environment, in a hurricane, under a curfew, and in a state of emergency... all without paying the young man a living wage, but if you go to the wine bar on a day that young man isn't there you'll find chaos, a filthy wine bar matched only by the grime caked on the pool bar, the ants and other bugs, no servsafe employees in sight... and when I asked the young bartender why he was out of everything, why everything was disgusting on his off days he said, "wade doesn't clean, and if I'm off they leave messes for days at a time for me to clean up" then cane in hand hobbled off to kick off a great interaction, till we noticed him tidying up, and having finished our drinks we bid him goodnight and slipped off to bed, I hope that young man is doing better, and hopefully away from the incompetent monsters running that poor boy into the ground... if asked to stay there again wine bar conversation would be the only appeal read more

Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service. Wanted to send dessert to my girlfriend and her daughter for her birthday and no one would help me. They said it wasn't allowed since I was not there to sign for it. In today's day and age you think someone would have made this happen for me. Staff was unhelpful and plain rude. The renovations were amazing , the hotel and grounds were beautiful , the beds were pretty comfortable. We spent two nights in the Grand Centennial Hotel. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed several walks around the property. The room was very nice and the person who checked us in was very polite. There is only 1 restaurant on this 'resort' and it was just okay. The pool area is huge and would be great for a family with kids. Be sure to read all the fine print in the reservation because a $14.99 per day/per person is added as a 'Resort Fee' AND they then add a 7% tax on the 'Resort Fee'. We did not get a 'resort' feel (most buildings were empty). When I inquired about the added fee I was told it 'covers all amenities on property (Water playground, 24 hour gym, parking, wifi, etc.) This fee is universal and applied to all reservations.' We did not see, hear about or use the Gym and we did not use the pool playground area. read more

So we enjoyed our stay, however we were very clear on the fact of which credit card we were using to book our room with. Not only did they charge the wrong card at check- in and also at the pool, but they charged both our cards for the exact amount. Now we have to wait 5-7 days to get our funds back. It is very frustrating when you are already having to place a hold on a room on top of being negligent with our credit cards on file!!! The manager had assured me that, our card would not be charged helping the new trainer employee, but it was done! I called and all they could tell me was wait till the manager comes in @11am and he will call you back. They did call but only.." I am sorry". I am nervous about ever going back if they are this careless with credit card numbers. At the end of the day, "I am sorry for holding up 2 of your cards for 5-7 business days" isn't a perfect fix for my troubles!!!!! read more
