I did online searches of all daycares in the area and this one never popped up so I was frustrated with my lack of choices until a coworker mentioned they had toured Little Scholars and liked it. I made a quick phone call and scheduled a tour for myself. Staff could not have been nicer and rates were very affordable. Thankfully, I was able to get on the waiting list in enough time to have availability for when I finished maternity leave. My whole experience here was so easy. I handed over a bag of my son's items every day and they labeled everything for me. I set my car sear in the front hall with all the others and picked it back up at the end of the day. Staff was always very laid back. I never once got a call about an emergency or a situation that they couldn't handle. I could stop in and check on my baby any time that I wanted. I enjoyed getting my notes at the end of the day with a full report of all of his activities. They also did crafts! I was so impressed that my baby got sent home with completed crafts all of the time. My son was happy here and was usually rocking peacefully when I arrived for pick-up. I no longer commute to Muncie every day but I am so thankful this daycare was available for when I needed it.

In the summer there are various camps based on age and skill level like cheerleading, flag football, basketball, reading, music, and swimming. Cons: They don't have a security system. Anyone can walk in, which is kind of scary. They have a playground across the street that the kids have to walk to and several times the gate has been left open. Also, there is a staircase going down without a gate on it. The lack of security features (huge deal in my mind) are the reason for 3/5 stars. p.s. They always schedule school events during the day time of weekdays. I have my child in childcare for a reason... I work. This has caused a great deal of stress from time to time.

The only reason i changed from the negative to the positive is i was intimidated by the company and that scared me. When they saw my negative review i was contacted and a message was left on my phone that scared me. Should this company still be in business i would tell you to NOT use them. It was a horrible experience and they did nothing to rid the home of the bugs my son inadvertently bought home with him. NOTHING. That's how i came to find PRODIGY. 1 trip to the home completely eradicated what 3 trips from Baxters did not. So I'm apologizing for posting a good review on a company that did shoddy work. I called Baxter's after experiencing bedbugs. I had the 90 day warranty. After their treatments I…read moreassumed everything was taken care of; one week shy of my warranty expiring I noticed a severe infestation in my couch.! Full grown adults, eggs, various stages of bedbugs.. I called for the tech to come out and take care of the issue. A family member had to let them in because I had work; he proceeded to tell them he saw no signs of activity and turned the couch upside down after spraying it. After he left I told my sister where I saw the bugs... She found and killed about 60..... If you're a professional how can you miss that many bugs?! After emailing pictures of my findings and messages left on answering machine I finally received a call back. When I told the man on the phone my dilemma he got nasty with me telling not to discredit his work. I'm sorry? You're supposed to be professional, act like it! Horrible customer service. Obviously not as professional as I originally presumed. I am not an exterminator, how can I find these bugs and you cannot? Also the spray he left me?? I have a paper towel soaked in the spray that I put the bugs on after I found them. They wouldn't die until I squished them. Save your money and stress for another company!!!!!
