Important read: My mom and I scheduled to go together. I was called the night before asking if Our appointment could change times from 1 to 1:30. We received a pretty rude call from the receptionist around 1:10 asking if we were coming and that what I said was wrong. I had a text confirming the right time too. When we arrived they were nice & accommodating to the miscommunication. Jill performed My Botox quick and easy. She got to my mom and suggested my mom had suffered from Bell's palsy due to one of her eyelids "drooping" more than the other. I was appalled and my mom, who is already self conscious about this, is now concerned and self conscious. She has never been diagnosed with this so it's a pretty serious thing to suggest. I understand this is the business of making people feel better about their insecurities but there are much better ways to ask someone if they've suffered from something. There are different ways and someone in the business should lift people up. We will not be returning& I hope Jill gets more training on how to speak with customers, especially if something doesn't "look normal." read more

Aside from the fact that my under eye filler was done poorly and took months to revise: 1- they pushed back many of my appointments 2-3 times 2- at my most recent appointment, I was scheduled for 2:10 and the doctor didn't see me until 2:45 and then proceeded to tell me he didn't have time to do the procedure (more eye filler revisions) that I was scheduled for because he had to stay "on schedule" after I spent 35 mins in the waiting room. 3- they woke me up 7:50am one morning with a phone call to try to reschedule me for 9:40am when I had an afternoon appointment, because they had a cancellation and wanted to make things more convenient for the doctor, rather than the patient! Who the hell calls someone before 8am to try to get them into an appointment on such short notice. I told them to cancel all future appointments and I will not be returning. I spent thousands at this place and do not appreciate how I was treated. Tl;dr- botched filler, many revisions needed, lots of scheduling issues, long waits in the waiting room, no time for procedure after they had me waiting for 35 mins. read more

Scheduled an appointment for myself and my sister, Mind you I have been here in the Naperville location before for Fillers and Botox performed at the time with Jill, I only have good things to say about her. I was very satisfied with her work, she listened to what I wanted and I would leave very satisfied, to return on my next visit with my daughter. I very sad to hear that Jill no longer works there and was very hesitant to book an appointment with the new injector by the name of Veronica, I was sold by Laura the front desk receptionist that she was very good and they all had works done from her " She is Great" is what was said. So I booked an appointment for myself and my sister. First of all her intentions was to sell me the most expensive package after already telling her what had wanted and she could see in my chart the work that Jill had done for me. I let her persuade me to do my forehead which I really did not need, it could had waited, stuck me with the needle to where it hurt and left me with an instant bruise and a bump. moving on she also said that my lip could use a little injection to bring out my lips to look a little fuller not by much was needed, left me with three balls on upper side of my lips to this day 14 days later I am trying to smooth them out. When I walked out of the office half hour later my face and lips was severely bruised looked like I was in some kind of a fight or accident it was horrible, When Jill inject me I had little bruising for no more than 2 to 3 days in which I went back to work with little makeup to cover it up. Its been 14 days and where Veronica inject with Juvederm I do not see any improvement nothing had changed " What a waste of my money, She suggested botox by the area of my eye in which she suggested to reduce look of crowfeet " That did not happen if anything my right eye has drooped so the crease of my eyelid messes up the eyeliner and mascara. I know what to do and not to do when botox is injected, I've had this done before. I am just hoping this will go away, I do not want to go back to Veronica, I paid over 1,400 for this reckless procedures. This place is a rip off they are only there to scan you and have you spend money and SELL you what you do not need. I know my Sister is very upset with the botox and fillers. I had a Halo done about 7 months ago and it was the biggest waste of money. I also believe the scan they do to show damage is fake. A friend of mine went after I did and her scan was just like mine. I came to Center For Cosmetic and Laser Surgery for a BBL and Halo laser. This is a 100 percent truthful review. I also will put a review on Realself which include photos to show what has happened to me. Pam at Dr Rubachs office performed the procedure. Being my first laser experience I did not know what to expect but I trusted Pam. I will try to shorten my experience and stick to the most important facts.It was too hot! I couldn't handle the heat and pain. Dr Rubach came in and administered a facial nerve block. Pam continued the procedure. It was still too painful and hot. I could not handle the pain. Pam then called in another employee to hold a cooling fan on my face so she could finish. Drs have since said that the procedure should have been stopped. Despite me saying numerous times it was too hot Pam continued. The pain was terrible even after numbing cream and a facial nerve block. I went home feeling like my skin was on fire. I followed every after care instruction given to me perfectly and only used the moisturizer Dr Rubachs office gave to me with my aftercare instructions. Within 12 hours of the procedure my face was oozing and weeping fluid. My face was so swollen I could barely open my eyes but what concerned me the most was the fluid that was oozing from my face. The next morning when the office opened I called to report what was happening to me. I spoke with Pam and wAs assured all was ok and to continue following after care instructions. Finally after calling the office a few more times because I was beginning to realize this wasn't normal I was seen by Dr Rubach. My skin was burned and oozing fluid. I was so severely swollen. It took a month for the swelling to go down. I did not have a normal healing experience because too much energy and heat were used on me and I was burned. I understand a laser superficially burns but this was way beyond normal. After I realized what had happened to me I was very scared. I kept in full contact with the office and Dr Rubach reassured me it would be ok. It was not ok. It is over a year since the procedure. I gave it a full year to see what the final outcome would be. I have had to go see many dermatologist and plastic surgeons. Each one has told me what was done to me is not normal laser treatment. I am left with damaged skin. Because of the burn and too much energy being used the collagen and elasticity in my skin were injured beyond repair. I now have holes and very large pores all over my face. As a result my skin hangs and sags especially around my mouth. It looks as if my skin as aged 15 years overnight. My face still hurts and my skin barrier was destroyed. For the first 9 months after everything I but on my face stung. Even the most gentle moisturizer. My skin barrier was so damaged. I now have scares all over my face. My face is still a purple/red brownish color from the burn over a year later. I also suffer from a white indented scar which I have been told is from full skin thickness burn. I don't recognize my face anymore when I look in the mirror. I never had any of this before Pam burned my face. I didn't even have acne as a teenager. I am trying very hard to just stick to the facts and leave my emotions out of this review. I don't ever want anyone else to have to go through the emotional and physical pain I have been in. Dr. Rubach never took responsibility for any of the harm done to me by his employee. I tried working with him and hoped he would give me the help I needed and deserved. He originally told me he would help me but he did not follow through. I have consulted with various doctors and they all have said if a doctor provides a service and there are complications he or she needs to take responsibility and try to help and correct what was done to their patient. Dr. Rubach will take no responsibility. His employee damaged my face. I have had to spend thousands of dollars in treatment and lotions to try to correct the damage. I have been told my skin and face will never be what it was before I had the laser, that there wS just too much damage. The best I can do is try to fix some of the damage but it will never be the same. I always lived by the motto of being the kindest person to others. I believe in being kind to all regardless of their religion, race or economic standing. I was a very happy, kind and giving person before this happened to me. This has been very emotionally hard and exhausting for me and my family. I truly hope this helps someone. Unfortunately, Dr Rubach did not do the right thing in my situation. If his office responds to this by saying they tried to reach out to me and work with me it is not the truth. He had taken zero responsibility. Beware and know this when seeking treatment in his office. I wouldn't wish what I have been through on anyone. They even took pictures after and told me to schedule another appointment with the doctor. They said it was that expensive but the next visit is always lower. Came here to get my lip filler corrected. I had gotten them done at another med spa and my bottom lip was uneven and I had bumps on my top lip from where the filler was injected too close to edge of my lip. Jill was super sweet and said I'd have to just wait for the bumps to go away on their own but I saw another doctor after she injected more filler into my lips and that doctor said the bumps needed to be dissolved. After jill injected my lips my bottom lip is now unevevn on the OTHER side and after a month has gone by the side of my lip that was injected in most gets warm and starts to throb a bit.. I'm going in on Tuesday so I'm hoping the doctor can fix it. I don't think my lip is supposed to hurt a month after getting it injected Update: I went in today to see Jill and the other doctor and they were incredibly kind to me and listen to all of my concerns. They gladly corrected the unevenness of my lower lip and free of charge removed the bumps that were incorrectly injected by another doctor at another practice. I'm so glad I took time to make the long drive back! Definitely rated 5 stars for their professionalism and willingness to hear and correct all of my concerns! read more

I had a consultation and recently surgery with Dr. Franco for a breast augmentation surgery. I am very pleased with the entire experience. The office staff are very friendly and put you at ease from the very start. When I came in for my initial consultation, I didn't feel rushed or obligated to follow though with surgery. I was shown my options and was even shown the room in which the procedure is done. I really liked that the procedures are done in office so I don't have to travel to different locations. I was then given my quote which was higher than I had anticipated. Prior to booking surgery I had another consultation at another office which quoted me a much lower price but I felt as though the office was more interested in getting money than about your well-being. They had several facilities so I wouldn't know exactly where I would be having surgery until it was scheduled. I decided to go with Dr. Franco and I am so glad I did. I had my surgery 1 week ago and am still in the recovery stages. I couldn't be more happier with the results only regret is not having had this done sooner. read more

Went in to inquire about a cosmetic procedure to get rid of a spot on my cheek that bothered me cosmetically. Dr. Rubach after looking at it, said it looked a little strange to him and that he wanted to do a biopsy. Well, unfortunately it was a melanoma, which by the way had been looked at by 2 other Dr.'s ( 1 dermatologist and also a skin cancer specailists) over a 3 year time span. They both had previously dismissed my concerns and told me it was nothing. I am so thankful that I went to Dr. Rubach and that he had caught my cancer at an early stage before it had metastisized and been potentially deadly! I went there to see Jill. I knew when she came in the room and did a 10 minute sermon on how great she is I was in trouble. I just get botox in between my eyebrows. She felt that my eyebrows were too high and suggested to also do my eyebrows. Well, I looked like a basset hound for months. I called to complain and they said the Dr Rubach will call you or could you come in. I said have him call me, it was a Friday evening I said I will be unavailable after 6. He called at 6:15. My anesthesiologist even called the day before to check in and answer any last minute questions I had. He even personally followed up with me for a few days following the surgery to check in and see how I was feeling. Walking in the place is very clean. All the front desk staff are extremely friendly. I went there first without committing to anything to get a consultation on juvederm plus lip filler and Jill was so welcoming. I was shopping around at many other medical spas but she was the only person I felt actually cared about what I wanted. I have a muscular imbalance in my face which caused one side of my lips to appear larger than the other. She corrected it and made them look plump (which I wanted) and then she 'lined' them making them stick out a little more (also what I wanted) I am TERRIFIED of needles.. she played music on her phone and made conversation with me during the entire process and made it extremely comfortable. It also was not painful. I did half a syringe and then the other half a month later and couldn't be happier with how they turned out. I've come back twice and will be back again for more! I had saline breast implants inserted ten years ago. Twice during those ten years an implant leaked and I needed them replaced. The second time, Dr. Franco persuaded me to replace them with silicone implants. After that second surgery, the doctor examined me and said, "Hmm. It looks like one is larger than the other." Yes, it was. Quite a bit. One would think that it was his responsibility to make sure both breasts would be of equal size. It is now a year later, and I still have two different size breasts. I had hoped that over time, when swelling went down, the size difference would be eliminated, but it hasn't. The doctor has never contacted me to see if I wanted a revision. I guess he doesn't really care. If you were born with different sized breasts, think how much more upset you would be if you had paid several thousand dollars for them. Would not recommend this doctor for breast augmentation. read more

Five stars does not do this office and their remarkable staff justice. I have never been so satisfied and comfortable until I had met Dr. Joseph Franco. The moment I walked into this office for my consultation it just felt right, the staff were so sincere and welcoming. When I met Dr. Franco I knew right away he was the Doctor I wanted to preform my tummy tuck/abdominoplasty. I had seen several other doctors prior to my meet with him and none of them compared to how knowledgable, honest and kind he was. I had a list of questions but didn't even need to ask them because he answered them all for me during my consultation before I could ask. I could tell how passionate he was about his work and he truly does this to help patients dreams become reality again. I was told by other doctors I would need to lose 10 lbs for better results when I'm a very small girl already, I was told I needed liposuction and muscle tightening and other small tweaks. Dr. Franco said I needed none of those, he said my abdominal muscles were very strong and not stretched eliminating muscle tightening and as far as liposuction, he said yes I could do it if you wanted but you absolutely do not need it. He said, I too have mouths to feed,but I'm not here to take your money and do unnecessary work on you, I'm here to do only what needs to be done to make you feel your best. My consultation did not feel rushed at any point, he was kind enough to give me a full tour of the office and explain in detail what was to be expected day of surgery. I scheduled that very same day with him for surgery 1 week later. There was no need for me to even think it over if i wanted to schedule with him or not. Margo, one of his assistants had helped me get all the finances taken care of and scheduling and I just can't say enough nice things about her. She was so patient with me, sincere and her personality was amazing, she makes you feel good about yourself. Pam, another amazing assistant I had to honor of meeting. Pam made me feel beautiful and helped put me at ease during my pre op appointment with Photos. The entire staff here is just remarkable! I had my surgery February 2nd, I am only 3 days post op and I'm happier than ever. I was concerned with some bleeding, which turned out to be nothing, but Dr. Franco got me in immediately on the 4th and looked me over and for the first time I saw my stomach and omg, it looks absolutely amazing. I got choked up, only 2 days after surgery and my stomach looks this amazing, I can't imagine how great it will look 3 months from now. My stomach is flat and beautiful with no stretch marks and excessive loose skin anymore. He went way up and beyond all my expectations. My incision is immaculate and much lower than I could have expected. I never in a million years thought my stomach would look this fantastic. Choosing Dr. Franco was one of the best decisions I've ever had to make. He has forever changed my life in ways he won't ever understand. I now feel like a beautiful confidant mother of two again. I received 2 recommendations for Dr. Rubach when I decided it was time to address looking tired all of the time. When arriving at the office for my consultation I was immediately made to feel comfortable by the staff. When I met Dr. Rubach and explained what I was looking for, he listened and then explained in detail what it would take to achieve the results I was looking for. I was concerned that I would look "plastic or surprised" after this procedure. Dr. Rubach was able to demonstrate what the end result would look like. He spent all of the time I needed to have confidence in him and I decided to schedule the surgery. NOTE: I received no pressure from any staff member to schedule the procedure at my consultation (a plus in my book). The explanation of the fees for my surgery by Margo was also a positive experience. Once I scheduled my surgery, I was given detailed instructions on what I needed to do 2 weeks, 1 week and the day prior to my surgery. Did I mention the very personal attention that I received from all staff members? :) Day of surgery: I was quite nervous.When arriving at the Center I was immediately put at ease. Dr. Rubach visited with me to see if I had any concerns or questions before my surgery. I was going to be given a twilight anesthesia. This part of the procedure was great! No after affects. After surgery: Again, the staff could not have been more accomodating. While I did not look my best, I felt pretty good. I went home with detailed care instructions. Dr. Rubach called that evening to see how I was doing. The healing process: the day after, although a little bruised I could already see a great difference. Follow-up visits with Dr. Rubach told me that I was healing well and the results would continue to improve. 1 month after surgery: I no longer look tired! I look fresh and bright and not at all surprised or plastic. Yesterday I was shopping and caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror - I could not believe my eyes (literally)! I believe facial surgery is an art and should not be done without recommendations of positive results. I like a bargain as much as the next person, but when shopping for a Doctor, positive results should be the deciding factor. If you are reading this it is likely that I do not know you.
