All the newer furniture the keep in the front and the more vintage, well loved furniture is more toward the back. Their display of art is done professionally as well. They have some unique lamps and even some plastic sheets of back splash. They don't have a lot of brick and brackets or Knick knacks items but that's ok if you know what you are you looking for and what to expect. Thoughtfully organized and plenty of space to move through the aisles. Im impressed.

I'm now looking at things that are there now in the past six months the pricing has changed so much. They are out pricing the items where people can't really afford to purchase them. It's no longer fun to shop there. I did purchase a lamp that was fabulous. Got the lamp plugged it in doesn't work went back to the store. They asked for my receipt. I don't have it so they won't do anything stuck lamp that doesn't work shame on them. I'm feeling really salty about this.. there is no sign in that says I need to have a receipt. The lady knows I come there all the time , my loss. It's no longer fun to shop at this store. I witness price changing for certain customers!! shame on them.

There is a parking lot specifically for Biotech Place so you don't have to worry about finding street parking. The inside really is a sight to be seen! The tall ceilings with glass skylights are beautiful. The natural lighting creates a wonderful atmosphere. The conference rooms within are also really great. They have comfortable seating as well. Many of the walls also on a track so they can be slid back in order to expand the rooms. There is even a café on site. I didn't have time to get anything from there but it seem to be bustling with business. I had the pleasure of spending about 8 hour s here so by the time I left it was dark. The outside was well lit after dark and felt completely safe. Overall, it was really a cool experience to be able to visit Biotech Place.

Once a year they host the Hispanic festival in Downtown Winston, bringing together our different cultures and displaying our rich food, dance and artifacts in the process!

Downtown Greensboro has a lot to see and do. It has a lot of history, parks, restaurants, museums…read moreand shops. There is a performing arts center and a baseball stadium, too. The International Civil Rights Museum is a must-see. You can stand where major Civil Rights milestones happened and read about those who helped change the country. The Greensboro History Museum is another museum in downtown. For those looking for sports, the Greensboro Grasshoppers play at First National Bank Field. They are part of the Pittsburgh Pirates as a level A team. Comedy lovers will enjoy the Idiot Box Comedy Club for the local and regional stand-up performances and improv shows. The Tanger Center has touring Broadway shows, concerts, comedy acts, and the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra. Across the street from the Center, you will find the O.Henry statues, honoring the famous Greensboro writer. Besides his statue, there is one of his dog and a huge book. Downtown has two major parks, LeBauer Park and Center City Park, which provide greenery, shaded spaces, art and statues to visit. There are benches available. When you are at Center City Park, make sure to look for the statue of Henry and Shirley Frye. They are a local 'power couple' of their time. He was the first Black Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court, and she broke barriers as a community leader and educator. Downtown Greensboro has many restaurants to choose from, from hole-in-the-wall spots (my favorite) to high-end dining and many in between. I enjoy Corner Slice and Fisher's Grill, and just got to try Cincy's, which is the longest-operating Greensboro restaurant. With Bonnie and Cindy at the helm, it is easy to see why, with the amazing customer service and the welcoming atmosphere, you feel like family there. If you don't get dessert at Cincy's, a stop at Cheesecakes by Alex is a great treat. They have 22 flavors of cheesecake, cakes, cookies and other pastries too. Shops are mostly local, boutiques, vintage and specialty shops. Scuppernog Books is a favorite stop of mine. Scuppernog Books has a great vibe and there is a coffee shop inside. They carry unique, hard to find books and many of the "banned" books. Downtown Greensboro has street parking and parking garages to park. Greensboro is walkable, and on certain days of the week, the Hopper Trolley provides free rides in downtown. It is very convenient. You can hop on and off or ride it for a loop to see more of downtown. There is a stop on every block.

This location of HH ReStore is heavy on the furniture. They have a lot of furniture- nice…read morefurniture. It was all well organized and contained in a clean well-lit building. The other areas(like house wares and appliances) weren't as well stocked with items. This is store is conveniently located in a nice area. The parking is plentiful and close. If you are looking for used furniture I would surely give this place a look!

Lots of clean and trendy furniture as well as some leather couches, glass dining room tables, chairs, etc. There was also a room full of sinks (some with pedestals or bases), cabinets, plenty of boxes of flooring, screws, nails, etc. There were several appliances there as well including microwaves and some ranges. All in great condition. If you wanted picture frames, sponges, lamps, new sheets in boxes, curtain rods nik nacks....it's there. Don't judge until you've been there. Granted, it's not like a department store where everything is brand new, but if you're looking for a great place to browse for a great deal...this is the place. I brought my mother (total Ms Judgment!) and she was taken aback as to how different this place was from the older one on Lawndale. They still have all their color coded discounts to look for as well. So, if you want to bring your mother some where (with no judgement), consider giving this place a whirl. Oh....the bathrooms are exceptionally clean!

It was a different style-not a Victorian, which was kind of interesting. It was also cool to hear about the different generations that took over the house. I was very interested to note that the Govenor wanted his girls to go to school, and since there wasn't one available, built his own-:) I like that. Besides, the gift shop was cool.
