They don't have a lot of brick and brackets or Knick knacks items but that's ok if you know what you are you looking for and what to expect. I don't have it so they won't do anything stuck lamp that doesn't work shame on them. I'm feeling really salty about this.. there is no sign in that says I need to have a receipt. There's been a lot of talk about Trosa Thrift store around town lately. I've seen it all over…read moresocial media so a friend and I decided to check it out on a Friday afternoon. Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.

All their instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The ONLY gripe I have is about how they handled their weather delay today. They decided to do a 2 hour delay due to weather but the only place this information was available was on Facebook. I'm not on Facebook. There was a whole line standing outside the clinic for like 40 minutes in the cold because people with appointments were not called, texted, or emailed. There was no information about the delay on the website or on the answering machine. A random woman in line saw it on facebook and then told all of us. Better communication would be helpful. That is it. My baby made it through her procedure and now she is home resting peacefully.

They likely came into existence as a way to cater to the low-budget art student crowd. They seem to have realized that there is potential value in everything. Literally. From the things you would expect to find for sale anywhere down to the things that are only just shy of trash, depending on your personal criteria. I particularly love the bucket loads of stationery and stickers, and the literal shelf loads of assorted random boxes. Your donations and your purchases all give back to the community in some way. They even have an entire maker space style workshop making up the back half of the building where I assume they also do trainings and workshops. And even their prices are so reasonable that a little bit of pocket change can go a long way. The only complaint I can even come up with is that they aren't open long enough.

Same goes for the shelved items. This has been the case for several years now. All the other GW stores that I visit are well stocked, sometimes to the point that they are jammed very close together. Most days I feel it's a waste of my time to go in there because of this issue. I'd rather go to the Thomasville store or the one on N. Main High Point.

today nov 18th i went to the store as i always do at my 30 min. lunch...the person at cash register…read moreat 12:10 decided to have a 15 min convo with someone that wanted to try clothes on that were hanging behind register........i have 30 minutes... i stood in line while the convo went on.... i finally checked out and only got a GTH look from the person with gloves and tats on at the register.. like i was rude ...so 20 minutes of my 30 minutes lunch went to standing in line with my one item and then dont get a thank you /KMA etc..... no more rounding off my 2.01 cent to the next dollar...............
