The issue is that because they have so many patients, they rush you in and out. They are no help when it comes to paperwork like FMLA. My family and I are going through such a difficult time adapting to my mother's new diagnosis. The staff was rude, not understanding, and short tempered when you ask one too many questions. This includes their manager Jodee. She didn't like my tone when I kept asking to give me a reason as to why they won't sign the FMLA. From "doctor just doesn't do it," to, "it's in her policy ," but they can't show me any written form. From being told that I shouldn't tell the doctor how to do her job, to having to find a new Neurologist after the patient advocate told me they don't like doing paperwork, they just want to get patients in and out. How are you supposed to trust an office like that? I found her a different neurologist, but of course doctors have a long wait, so it's delayed her care some. Now, I have been waiting for them to send a referral over to a different hospital for my mother's Neuro-psych appointment since they last saw her, and it's been over one month they told me they would do it only for the other hospital to tell me they never sent anything. When I called this Neuro Clinic I asked why it hasn't been sent over and they dismissed me with a ,"All I can do is send it," but I've received another call from Neuro-psych telling me they still haven't received anything. I left Alicia Green staff a voicemail asking for an update and it's been 2 business days and still no response. They are delaying her care immensely, and they don't seem to care because she's just another random patient to them. This is my mother, I don't care how annoying they find me, but I will make sure she is taken care of. Could you imagine the terrible care they would give if I wasn't there advocating for her? Terrible.

Lumbosacral root pain is unlike anything I've ever experienced. The ER staff were top notch and worked hard to relieve my pain and admitted me to find out the root of the problem. Every nurse, technician, assistant, doctor, specialist, etc. was attentive and helpful. It was a neurosurgeon who discovered that a screw in my lumbar area is touching my sciatic nerve. There is nothing to be done about it as it's too risky. However, we are going to do extensive rehabilitation to build the muscle around the area. It will help to manage the pain. More about that when I begin the sessions. So, if you're looking for attentive, knowledgeable, and expert care, this hospital is the place to go. I'm grateful for everyone who helped care for me.

I finally got in, we sat down &went through everything, I wasn't super comfortable, but I figured I would go ahead and get the epidural shot anyway because I was in excruciating pain & needed it. To get a little personal, I have anxiety when it comes to any medical procedures and I made the doctors aware of the situation so they suggested I get sedation. A week and a half later I finally get in to have my shot done. It was hotter than Hades in that office & was even hotter once you got back in the patient area. The bed they put me in was baking in the sun. It had to be nearly 80° and then they put a warm blanket on me. I sit down and my anxiety rampant. My blood pressure was high. My heart rate was high, and I had a Slightly elevated temperature, which are all symptoms of anxiety. They took my vitals every five minutes in a crowded room with constant beeping a blood pressure cuff going off every minute and then constantly telling me to calm down. As the timer went off every five minutes, I anxiety got worse. My Elevated temperature did go down to 99.4. And if you read the CDC says a fever is considered anything over 100.4. The doctor, then rudely comes over and tells me he cannot continue with the procedure because I must have some sort of infection. And then told me it was not possible to have an elevated temperature from anxiety. I've experienced this numerous times before I have been told by different doctors that it is completely possible to have an elevated temperature due to my anxiety, and I have read numerous studies from medical journals as well as information from the CDC that very clearly states heightened anxiety can cause an increase in temperature. When I explain this, he basically told me I was crazy. It wasn't possible. I have an infection. I have to go home. The minute I get home I take my temperature and it is a cool 98.7°. Just like I said no fever no infection it was caused by my anxiety. I called the office afterwards and ask them if I could reschedule my procedure but with a different doctor and she told me it was against policy and they wouldn't let me do so. After complaining she said she would talk to her supervisor and get back to me by the end of the day or at least the next morning at the latest. No call yet. Unprofessional, beyond ridiculous and I would say never come here and never see this doctor again I'm a little worried that he doesn't know that any of that is actually possible. Makes you wonder what else this doctor doesn't know. Here's a couple articles to enlighten you. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4843908/. https://www.health.com/mind-body/can-stress-cause-fever So after all of this mess and administrator calls me and tells me they will definitely give me a new doctor. They can even move me to a different clinic to have the procedure done and she's gonna see what she can do to get everything expedited and call me back and give her a day or two. Well, it's now been a week and she hasn't called me back clearly they don't care about their patients. I'm going to make sure I file complaints wherever I possibly can't about this place.
