It is a small modest office and the receptionist is very knowledgeable, courteous and proficient. Dr. Kwong is very personable and skilled at what she does. It amazes me that more people do not seek out these kinds of doctors. I will always choose natural herbal medicine if at all possible over the drugs and synthetics that harm our bodies dished out like candy at the other doctors offices. It may have taken a while to find her but I am glad I did. She has helped me tremendously. Now my whole family goes to her office. Dr. Kwong is amazing, this was my first experience and I didn't know what to expect but was not disappointed! My first appointment she asks several questions and checked my pulse along with my tongue, be HONEST answering the questions. I had acupuncture, it was not scary and did not hurt. She also prescribes your own herbal tea recipe for your specific issues. Very professional and the lady that helps her is very polite as well. She helped me so much after I was involved in a bad car accident, I had chronic pain and trouble sleeping. The acupuncture and tea have been a life saver. 1 stars for this place? Complaining of having to wait in a Drs office? Especially first time? Hahaha. Obviously you have never had real medical issues that brought you into an actual office of medicine. I didnt even read the other review as it started out beyond foolish. I was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer 6 years ago. Been through real savage stuff. Been to chiropractor and masseuse through the whole ordeal. When it came back was suffering from headaches and facial paralysis. Went to 5 other acupuncturist. 3 visalia 1 in Fresno and 1 in Exeter. Finally got here. Headaches were reduced to manageable level. Facial neuropathy almost gone. Started chemo treatment in december of last year. Dr kwong was the only reason I could walk without my cane and walker. She helped with the massive bone and body pain I suffered helped me cut back on the pain meds by 80 percent. She did things for me that an army of doctors couldn't. I still go to her after finishing my treatment for maintenance and thankfulness she did what she does. You want a quick in and out experience go elsewhere. You want something that works when everything else hasn't... This is where you go. I'm beyond agitated at these poor reviews here because I only functioned due to this treatment. You people are idiots. Listen anyone reading this suffering from real pain. The pain you don't care if someone is straight evil to help manage or fix. Dr Kwong is a sweetheart takes her time with you and getting to know you. She is the nicest genuine Dr I have ever met. Go here and give her 2 sessions and drink her tea in between and on the 2nd session after the 3rd day you don't feel better move on. If you do that though you won't go anywhere else ever again. Seriously gives Oriental Medicine a bad name. Right at the time of my appointment, the Dr. took a phone call, while beginning to yell at the person on the other line calling them unprofessional. 40 minutes later she waves me in a lets me in a small room, and closes it on me, She's still on the phone and doesn't even say hi, or I'm sorry. Finally, she sees me and she condescends the general public with how dumb people are and how they think, several times. I call 4 days later about a medical issue, and she tells me I have to commit to coming every week and hardly answered my question. The money and lack of dignity are not worth the breath. Dr Kwong is pretty knowledgeable with a back ground in pharmacy, she does accept interns and this is one of the reasons my husband and I travel up South to see her. Each appointment is accompanied by tailored herbs for your specific need. She listens and treats each problem, she is positive and calm and also funny in my opinion but she is pretty knowledgeable. She doesn't accept insurance but can generate a super bill for you to submit to your insurance. We have only seen her twice but have a detailed treatment plan and we would continue to see her, each appointment leaves us pretty relaxed and positive! read more

Dr. Kwong is one of those rare physician who is knowledgeable in both orthodox conventional medicine and that of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Their different histories, concepts, and treatment methods. You cannot beat their prices for she does much more than acupuncture. Instead she uses a more comprehensive approach by including all branches of Chinese Medicine to help her patients.
