I love coming here. The place is welcoming, laid back and very clean. The staff is upbeat and friendly, easy to chat with and is very accommodating to your needs (including those with disabilities like myself). They are very well educated in their professions and are capable of giving you exactly what you need, whether it be simply for relaxation or for more chronic pain. I go to see Devon and she is just wonderful! She's very pleasant to be around and is very good at knowing what you need even if you don't. My boyfriend sees Rebecca. He has severe knotting in his upper back and she does a great job at helping to release his tension (though it will take multiple visits for him cause it's so chronic). He is very pleased with her knowledge about his current situation. I highly recommend this place for all types of people. They are honest professionals and they even send you elsewhere for more help when they know you'd be better served than by just them alone! (A rare find in the modern business culture.) Also last but not least its quite affordable, which is a plus for anyone who's on a budget like myself. I'm so glad I found this place! I have a very physical job working with animals, and after 12 years of it, my back felt about 20 years older than the rest of me. I've had tendonitis a couple of times, and I have also had a problem the last few months with my right shoulder that my doctor just told me to ice, with no results. I also have a very stiff and achy lower back when I wake up in the morning, and sometimes the pain will wake me up at night. I went to Rebecca, and she could immediately tell where my problem areas were before I said anything, just by touch. She worked on my right shoulder, letting me know the area I am having problems with is my rotator cuff. She spent a lot of time on my shoulder and my lower back. I am happy to say I woke up with no pain this morning and my back also did not wake me up during the night. I feel better than I have in ages, and am looking forward to my next visit. I went to Rebecca after years of injuries from, and physical therapy for, distance running, as well as stress. In only one massage, she was able to release tension areas that interfered with my running, helped my lower back strain, and still had time to address my known stress-carrying areas (i.e., my neck and shoulders). She provided a welcoming, calming presence and environment for a new and harried client. Thoughout the massage, she maintained a warm and professional demeanor while allowing me to relax and release the tension. She did not "push" particular products or services, which has deterred me from large-chain massage therapists. I have been to many massage therapists over the years, and Rebecca is truly amazing. When I arrived for my appt, the table was warmed and she was ready for me. She listened to me when I asked her to work on certain areas--my neck and shoulders were instantly relieved of stress with her deep kneading massage techniques, and I look forward to returning to have her work on the chronic tendonitis in my elbows. I tried Rebecca out as a result of a Groupon she ran. The Groupon was such a good deal, that I was willing to travel 45 min away to get the deal. I NEVER planned on going there again, as there are much more local massage therapists in my area! Well, Rebecca was so attentive to my special needs (I have sensitive muscles and can tend to get over worked by others, and have pain issues for days after, this does not happen with Rebecca), also she remembered me on my 2nd visit, asking me various questions of how am I doing with this and that. Rebecca is an excellent massage therapist with a great understanding of muscles and how they affect overall health. She does wonderful deep tissue work in my chronically tight and painful shoulders and neck, diminishes migraines, and makes me feel so much better. I met her years ago when she offered free massages for migraine patients at my neurologist's office as part of a student research project for massage therapy school.
