Honestly, there is nothing more you could possibly ask for in a wedding band. My fiancé and I love to check out local cover bands, so choosing one for the wedding was going to be a feat. But once we saw YLatT... They truly blew the competition out of the water. They are operating on a whole separate plane from any other group we've seen in the area. YLatT is comprised of incredibly talented musicians. This is no fly-by-night cover band. They have been playing together for years (the keyboardist and drummer were in a band prior to this, dating back I think 15 years?) and it shows in their chemistry and synchrony. Each member of the band is unbelievable. They also have a dedicated sound tech who stayed all night, so they sounded great in the reception space. They had an amazing range, from classic wedding tunes (At Last) to 80s favorites (Don't Stop Believin') and modern hits (Blurred Lines). Any genre, they were all over it. They sent us the full song list a few months before the wedding and let us have a lot of freedom is choosing the songs we knew our friends and family would love. And like I said, you can't go wrong. They are experts at all of them. Importantly: FUN! In addition to being excellent musicians, these guys knew how to work a room. They were just having a blast the whole time, and their enthusiasm was contagious. We also had the guitarist, Sean, play for our ceremony as we walked down the aisle. It was way easier than trying to coordinate yet another musician(s), and he did a great job. The band was also able to lend us a mic and an amp for our outdoor ceremony. All of our guests raved about the band, and it's still the most mentioned part of our day. Really, we couldn't have asked for a better group.
