I was under the impression that would be $180 for both ($90/hr) which is still expensive but doable. $180/hr per person is more than a Union Contractor makes in NYC. The Handymen were just there to build 3 beds! The price was insane and i will NEVER use them again. If you wish to use them, please make sure they provide you with a detailed breakdown of the costs (not just a per hour quote) so you are not surprised like i was.

I did not even get a follow up. It was around the holidays, so I understood and decided to be patient (although every other company who came by during the same time frame managed to get me estimates within a few days at most). Two weeks later still no estimate and still no follow up (three weeks since they came to my house). If they didn't have the capacity or desire to take on my project at this time, I would have appreciated being told that so I didn't waste my time waiting and not moving forward. (Well I did last week with drywall repair and painting at least, with a company that gave me an estimate the same day and got me on their schedule soon after I made the decision). I called the company once more just to make sure I didn't overlook anything, but they seemed to not really know what was going on with the estimate either ..
