Centerline was awesome! They were prompt, polite, and a great price. I had two exterior outlets that had quit working and one had started smoking and flipped the breaker. We unplugged everything and waited for them to arrive. The replaced the bad outlets and the breaker. I requested the breaker be replaced. The tech suggested that we might want to consider a dedicated circuit as we use our back patio a lot. I had them come back out a few days later and install two more exterior outlets on dedicated circuits. I am extremely happy with the service and price. read more

I know electricians are expensive, but we could have probably done better. Online it says they do estimates, electrician that arrived said they won't be doing that. So I was on the hook and they were on the clock. Decent amount of talking was done, paid for that time as well. I had a few smart switches installed, and that was OK. Though the reset button was constantly being depressed because the plate around the switch wasn't flush. I had to go back and fix that. A wash room timer and fan was disconnected as well. He said he would leave it out for me to find a replacement if I want. It was left in the ceiling, so I'll have to go back and remove it myself. My chandelier finally got fixed though, never worked. Probably won't use them again unless I don't have a choice, didn't feel like it was worth the 335. read more

I have used Centerline many times over the last 8 years. I like Jamie the owner as well, but the last time I had his company out to my house these electricians were rip offs from the get go. I over heard them talking about what they did to these new construction homes before they came to my house and it was not good. I won't go into it. Just a bad start so I paid a little more attention to these guys as they started with my house. They said they would check some things because I had complained of the switch/ plug in was not powering a cord I had plugged into it and the security light in my yard that did not work. Well, here these guys stood around and B.S.ed for about 45 minutes then told me they could not find the problem and then suggested that I just by a automatic light for the yard to come on when ever in got dark. I said ok, and they were off. Got the bill and it was for almost $300. For nothing really. Sorry Jamie, but you need to get better men to work for you. I don't even know how I got on to this Yelp stuff in the first place but your company just came up, and I felt you should know. Your guys deserve a lower rating here but I could not make my self give your company a bad rating because of our past relationship. It has been good in the past! This work was done last year. If you wanna get overcharged then by all means, use these guys. $310 for one GFI outlet, some electrical tape and a new outlet box. Less than 30 minutes of work. The only positive was the guy that came out was polite and knew his job. I still will never use these guys again nor will i ever recommend them. read more

I reached out to Jamie in a panic today. After I was having some electrical issues in my kitchen. I had popped a breaker and my garbage disposal wouldn't turn off and ended up blowing sparks out of the bottom. He let me know do not touch anything and he was going to call once of his techs to head over and check it out. Mark arrived and helped me figure out when I panicked and the disposal didn't work I had unplugged it from the top plug and plugged it into the bottom to see if it had power. When I turned the breaker back on the disposal was still on... Because I didn't know the lower plug always has power and does not turn off with the switch like the top one. So after the disposal running while I was in a panic trying to remember what breaker to turn off. My very old disposal decided it was a great time to seize up and spark. Thankful I only need a new garbage disposal and that nothing is going to burn my house down. read more

These guys were contracted to do the wiring and AC hookup for my new Mobile Home. We've had nothing but delay after delay and it's prevented us from moving in when we were supposed to. I have had to call them daily for updates and all they can tell me is "I'm on the schedule." We've been waiting almost two weeks just for them to hookup our AC. The staff is unfriendly and not helpful at all. Worst of all they do incomplete work. They had to come back out because we couldn't pass inspection due to work they forgot to do. I called Centerline Electric about having a commercial building's 3 Phase power inspected before I purchase the building. The owner was very condescending and rude. I finally said he sounded frustrated with all of his sighing and that I should probably call someone else. He said that I was asking "ridiculous questions." So I said, "we're done" and hung up on him. I am not an electrician and if you call this guy you'd better brush up on your electrical terminology. He was so unprofessional. read more

We scheduled for a certain day and informed them that the rest of our construction crew needed the electric work done first to be able to continue construction. They confirmed the day. Then rescheduled on short notice. When they finally came to do the work they were just supposed to change the outlets/switches/plates to white and install some can lights. They "kept finding problems" when they opened up the switch plates and "were obligated to fix those problems and bring it up to code". That's fine, but as they're "fixing" things, they said a room was all fixed and done but the outlet for our internet router didn't work and they had somehow routed things so our porch lights wouldn't switch on. They spent more time fixing that before leaving for the day. They ended up taking much longer than expected to do what we thought would be a simple job, our bill was enormous, and now a bunch of lights that worked great before flicker. I called the owner to discuss concerns on 2 occasions. When I asked what would cause a bunch of different light fixtures in completely different rooms to start flickering he blamed it on me buying "cheap lightbulbs". That was the final straw. The lightbulbs were the same before this company did the work and they never flickered before, now I have a strobe show in 3 rooms of my house. DON'T USE CENTERLINE ELECTRIC is my recommendation. read more

This is the second time we've called Centerline Electric for an emergency and both times we got a quick response from a great team. The first time the chandelier over our dining table literally fell from the ceiling in the middle of the night and was hanging by a thin wire. The second time today? Well, let's just say I should have looked a little harder for the GFI before calling them because our power in several areas of the house was out. Bottom line is that again they responded quickly. The crew they sent, as always, was courteous, efficient and knew their stuff and exactly where and what to look for first. They obviously found the GFI that I had missed. Problem solved! And, instead of charging us the going rate Dustin was kind enough to give us a substantial discount which was much appreciated. We plan to put in ceiling fans before next summer and wouldn't think if calling any other electricians! read more
