Very disorganized, invasive even rude. Very money hungry and rent apartments as is no paint job very unkempt and dirty.

I was talking to Taylor and she was impatient and rude! She told me I was being rude out of nowhere when I asked to confirm information by a supervisor! She must have thought I was gonna complain but I wasnt intill I was hung up on! She shouodht be allowed to get away with that interaction! Completely unprofessional and childish behavior! Rented from this company for 8 months. Failed to come out to my property on numerous maintenance calls. Despite heavy cleaning before I moved out, I was charged $250 for carpet cleaning, wiping down light switch covers and mopping floors. I was told that I "apparently didn't clean the apartment well enough". Bottom line is I have never had a security deposit with held because i am meticulous when it comes to cleaning. They contract companies to go in and do move out cleaning, these companies nickel and dime the property manager, and they in turn charge you for it. If you don't like good customer service or a personable staff, this company is a great choice for you. I will never rent through a property management company again. read more

We moved to the Roseburg area last Nov. & the Centerpointe staff was and continues to be welcoming, helpful, friendly & professional. Jennifer always greets us with a smile. When we have a problem or question, if she can't help us, she immediately gets the info to Steve. Steve has always been professional, adhering to Oregon regulations while using common sense & balancing the needs/wants of both the owners & the renters. He is able to prioritize while maintaining a Zen like calmness. We have had various issues come up with the home (it's an older house) we're renting and Steve has stayed on top of them until resolved. He has even lent a friendly sympathetic ear while I've ranted, which he modestly states is part of his job description. I believe that is going beyond the call of duty! As someone who is relocating to Roseburg, OR, this place leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to making prospective clients happy. While the details will stay with me, I feel like I was completely lied to and/or misled. Upon being approved for a place I inquired about another place and that was within the $$$ and was told that I had to take the place I was approved for, which was not what my father and I were told just a week prior by the same individual. While I felt cornered into living in a less-then-desirable apartment complex, I informed him that I wasn't sure how long I would stay at the month-to-month property when I would sign my lease. After I was already approved (and have the emails to prove it) he told me that he would not approve my application if this was the case. What!?! Isn't it a month-to-month agreement? No binding lease outside of a month-to-month living situation? Was this guy forcing me to stay in a place longer then I wanted to by threatening to not approve my lease that I was already approved for, with the emails to prove it? Needless to say, after he talked down to me like I was a minion, I was less and less impressed with the company he is thankful to be employed by. I pulled my application and have since gone elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place to be your rental company. They've got a hotshot ego behind a desk that likes to play God. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Well, until Steve Fox is no longer employed. Then I am sure things will be different. Until then, the one star I am giving them is far too generous! read more

Got part of the way through an application to rent from them. The lady (if you can call her that) at the front desk was very rude when I turned in the application. I had not brought the paystubs, identification, or application fee with me because I hadn't known that those were required at the time of turn-in. Perhaps I was a fool for thinking that I would be given a preliminary credit check. Either way, the employee at the desk in the office looked down her nose at me and told me that "if I had read the application" (which I had) I would know that those things were required at time of turn-in. Whoever wrote the application purposely chose some pretty ubiquitous language because I was completely unaware of this. She highlighted the sections for me as if to suggest I couldn't read, then told me to read the application and come back in with the required materials. I read the application, miss. Terrible! Avoid! I rented in Eugene and only paid $30 for carpet cleaning upon leaving! This place charges $230! :O Absolutely ridiculous! It took me forever to move out because they don't know how to operate a fax machine to get my paperwork to our new property management in order to be approved for our new house! This took 2 weeks when it should have been the same day! :/ Steve is the one! He said that it said the fax sent and he had no idea what # it went to. (He never bothered to verify either). Pati that is the receptionist at the front counter, is a total bitch! Very snobby, and has an annoying habit of smacking saliva betwern her teeth. Always snippy on the phone. Terrible overall customer service! I lived at my residence 2 years and our fence was rotting and falling over! They never fixed it! We even offered to do it ourselves if they bought materials! They refused! :O Our house was also infested with mice, we fought it the whole time we lived there! So glad we got out of Roseburg! I recommend Raintree over these guys! read more

Save yourself the trouble and do not rent from this management. Jennifer was very rude on the phone as well as Steve, neither of them was professional. We were told that we did not have all the information needed to rent from them but they still keep our money order knowing that they were not going to rent to us. If you are looking for a good property management go through RAINTREE or PIONEER they will treat you with respect. read more

We rented from this place for a year and the only nice thing i can say is that yes they were always friendly and that maintenance calls were answered in a timely manor. Thats about where my good review stops. I will tell you that upon moving out you will be nickled and dimed for everything..take great pictures when moving in and document every nick, ding, crack, hole or smudge. The charge for carpet cleaning is absurd and we were told to go with their company as they get a deal..dont know what crazy deal they get cause after spending 20 mins on the phone i found 3 companies that would have charged me half the price and cleaned it better. Oh and upon leaving I spent more than I normally do cleaning the house so it was spotless..due to my OCD I am very clean and spent 5 hours going over everything on the check out list to make sure it was spotless only to get a bill for cleaning for 4.5 hours at 30 bucks an hours. I'm clearly in the wrong business and clearly need to be retaught to clean due to this. I was appalled by this mostly due to the fact that when my husband had called a week or so after move out we were told we have a great move out and it was very clean and only had minor damage. Oh and lets get to my favorite things i was charged for upon move out at 42 bucks an hour by some maintenance company....to reattach a carbon minoxide detector, to spray some oxiclean on a mini blind string and my ultimate favorite to wipe off a smudge on a light switch. So unless you plan to spend little time in your home and have a full time staff to clean and maintain it i suggest you find a much better company to go thru..heck i would use craigslist over this place. I have never in my life been charged for cleaning a place i rented..as a matter of fact the last 3 places i have rented i received all of my deposit back. I should have listened to the reviews as well as a husbands co worker that rented from them and warned us to get out before it was to late. read more

I personally would not recommend center pointe to anyone at all we have had problems since day one! Needless to say they dont give a damn about there tenants. Usually they would want to keep tenants and make them happy. When we moved in july of 2012 the water valve was broken and it tooks two weeks to have someone sent in to fix that when they did they tracked mud into our house leaving tracks on the carpet and everywhere else. I called centerpointe to complain and they said they would send someone out to do our carpets we are now in january and i have yet to have my carpet washed. We requested someone to come look at our apt. Due to a leak and they wanted to put it off for 2-3 weeks as we also told them we found rat poop and saw a rat in our house they have yet to send someone out when I called to ask she said I put it a request that's all it's been a month we are moving out and they have had a hard time sending a fact to new property management how ridiculous these people are ignorant ass holes when they talk to you on the phone as well they don't even deserve a star!!!!. read more
