Wonderful Dr.'s and Staff. Have seen several of the Dr's and PAC. They've been very kind and helpful. Thank you.

I took a SIBO test, rested positive, was prescribed Xifaxan to take 3 times a day for 14 days with no other follow-up or anything. I messaged and called multiple times. Dr. Eileen Quillin refused to address this matter herself on the portal even after several attempts. She kept forwarding me to a nurse, who was less than helpful and rude. A week and a half she argued with me. I guess the Banner Health mission is not followed by staff. We also contacted the pharmacy and spoke with them to confirm this was correct. They stated there are no alternatives available; which means it doesn't matter who the manufacturer is. I called the number you provided and spoke with Pam she spent 20 minutes going through the covered medications list and the OTC medication list and again there are NO PROBIOTICS covered regardless of a prior authorization. If it's not covered I can't request a prior authorization. I have provided a copy of the OTC product list that I found online. (this is below). It is not the responsibility of clinical staff or providers to be aware of what insurance companies will cover the cost of; especially OTC medications.

Not exactly the most glamorous way to spend a morning, but if you have to go through a colonoscopy…read moreand endoscopy, this is absolutely the place to do it! The staff was incredibly personable and made the whole experience feel as comfortable as it possibly could, and Dr. Bedi was wonderful. Knowledgeable, easy to work with, and actually listened, which meant the world. Would I rush back? No. Would I recommend them without hesitation? Absolutely!

Rachel had a mask on, and couldn't understand a word she was saying. She was more focused on the diarrhea than the pain I was experiencing. In fact everyone say 'oh Robin, nice to me you, you have diarrhea', yes, but I'm here for the pain. Rachel had them refer me to longs Peak Images, after a week of waiting, now June 16, I called and canceled a follow-up appointment with Rachel on August 4. So she referred me to longs peak, follow-up appointment with her August 4, not addressing the pain I was in. So I would have the pain for another two months before getting any help, $40 please. Oh and Rachel also gave me samples of IBgard, two boxes, I took two pills and it made the pain worse and more sick. Rachel ignored me and poisoned me. This is a terrible office, I would advise everyone to stay clear of this 'Gastroenterology of the Rockies.' I did have procedures there earlier this year, with Dr. Bedi, excellent service. I will say her name again, Rachel Povilus, didn't care, rude and gave me medication that made my sickness worse. She was more focused on the diarrhea than on my pain. She was trying to mask the pain instead of trying to help me. Medical help is so worthless now a days, it is not even worth seeking help when you see someone like Rachel Povilus.

Ten years ago, when I first went to Gastrointestinal of the Rockies, they were a much smaller…read morepractice with only a couple of locations. At that time, my experience was straightforward and professional. After my procedure, Dr. Kaye clearly told me everything looked great, there were no polyps, and I should return in 10 years. Fast forward to recently, I was contacted by the practice and told I was "due" for another colonoscopy. I questioned this multiple times, specifically asking the scheduler to double-check the notes, because I had been told 10 years. Instead of verifying, I was firmly told I was incorrect and that their records showed I was due at 7 years. Reluctantly, I scheduled the procedure. Days before the appointment, I was informed that the physician I had specifically requested had decided to take the afternoon off. My options were to reschedule or proceed with a different doctor. Since I had already begun the prep process, I had little choice but to move forward. Here is where things become truly unacceptable: As I'm lying on the table, IV in place, the new doctor walks in and asks if I'm having any problems. I say no. He then tells me, "You're not due for a colonoscopy for another three years." This confirmed exactly what I had been saying all along. At that point--after the prep, the disruption, and already being prepped with an IV--I went through with the procedure anyway. But the fact that I was put in that position due to their internal error is inexcusable. Afterward, I made multiple attempts to contact management to understand how this happened. Not a single call was returned by anyone in a leadership position. The only outreach I ever received was from a nurse--not someone accountable for the breakdown. Only after posting a brief, non-detailed negative review (in hopes someone would respond) did I hear anything further--and that was a letter "terminating" me as a patient. The letter was not even signed by a specific individual. This practice has clearly grown, but unfortunately, the professionalism, communication, and accountability have not grown with it. Between: * Incorrect medical scheduling information * Lack of internal communication * Last-minute physician changes * Inability to reach management * And ultimately dismissing a patient rather than addressing concerns ...I cannot recommend this practice to anyone. If you value clear communication, accuracy, and accountability in your medical care, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. PS. ******** Gastroenterology of the Rockies has a mixed to largely negative reputation, with many patient reviews highlighting significant administrative issues, long hold times, and poor communication, leading to low ratings on Yelp (often 2.5 stars or less). While some patients report positive experiences with specific doctors, others complain about disorganized care and difficult scheduling, particularly in the Boulder, Longmont, and Denver locations.******
