Vystar has been going down hill for the past few years and I do not see them getting any better. Please save yourself the headache and find another financial institution. My dad passed away and my mother has Alzheimer's and now lives with me in Seattle. When I moved her account to the Seattle branch I had to show them the original power of attorney and the death certificate for my dad to transfer the accounts. I flew down to Palm Coast to remove my mothers belongings from her safety deposit box. Even though their legal department has already approved the power of attorney they said they had to see the original again. I had it sent from Seattle which took a few days and brought it to the bank. Then they wanted to see the original death certificate. Would have been nice if they asked for that before. Since my mother can't remember what she did with the key the bank said they have to drill the box. I asked if they could schedule that the day the death certificate arrives so I don't have to wait another day in palm coast because the hotel bill is getting expensive and I'm missing work. They said no problem. The day fed ex was supposed to deliver the package I stopped by the bank to get the appointment to access the box. Now they tell me it will take 48 hours after they see the death certificate to set up the appointment. Unbelievable!!! Now it will cost me another 2 days at the hotel and 2 days of work. My mother had a box at Sun Trust Bank also. They knew my situation, were very accommodating and opened the box a week ago without charge. Bank of America wants $150 to open the box. My family will take our business elsewhere and If you want decent service I advise everyone else to do the same.

I voted for President Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020 and hold firm that Sleepy Joe Biden stole the election from the rightful President. Nicole couldn't get enough about talking about sleepy Joe. How powerful his speeches are, how much she loves his foreign policy, she loves that communist Kamala, and said she would have voted for Obama for a third term if she could. Now, I'm a self-respecting Floridian and I can't think of anyone I know that would openly admit to that... she's the biggest liberal I've ever met. I declined to continue working with her and now I'm seeking insurance through a competitor. Hopefully soon Rob DeSanctimonious will get off his porcelain throne and make insurance not required in the state, it's obvious government oversight anyway. This is the bank I go to…read moreand trust Now, I do not have a lot of their programs, I only have checking and savings so I can only tell you what I know My husband has other professional business with them but this is not his review Anyway, I'm not good with my spending but they have overdraft protection that I use A LOT Regions will inform me of this and any problems I run into A LOT (I'm a ditz) My RECENT and this has happened many times, I get a text from Regions asking if I made a purchase for such n such amount, Say yes or no now and they will not put the check through OR call/visit them personally. (If I say no they will immediately close down your card....the reason I hate this is because I'm without my debt/credit card, Make sure you have one of your different account cards to use while you're waiting for the new one to come in) This was not my first rodeo so, I went through my bank statements which I think I do a lot and see that they first took out a few dollars first WAIT 2 different names (Abbreviated names) that took out a small amount also? What's up with this? I scrolled through my statement and found out they took out a larger amount another month and the one pending now. I went to Regions with my problem (like before) and talked to AMY my favorite. All are good but I've been with Amy and when you deal with one person, you know you would want to deal with them again. Amy immediately took care of the 3 older ones I did not catch and we had to wait until the pending one went through. Now let me go back and explain something. I called a reputable card company to ask them about my c.c. with them and change my name in the card (It's stupid that you can't edit it on their website) Before you get to customer service, comes a so called agent on to pay a ($4.95) shipping to get a $100. Gift card...I said no but they wouldn't put me through to C.S. I called again, same thing happened but a different agent said $2.99 No C.S. so I hung up and gave up. A few days later I get a text from Regions and asked if I am making a $ amount purchase. The reason why I text YES is because I really thought I did so it went through. Come back to now, I get a NEW text from Regions and asked again if I am making a purchase. I text now and they stopped my card immediately. They new same amount was pending so I went to the bank and Amy and I went through my account since February. Yes, Feb this is April She called the customer service line and we waited on the line 15 minutes before hanging up. Then she called again and waited on the line 10 minutes before hanging up. So now she starts writing a grievance form. Amy actually got the 3 drawn payments corrected right away. But, as I said pending one we'd have to wait until it goes through. When it went through Amy called me and said she sent the grievance and it was taken off my account. Now as I said you should have like me, I have a second card with a different account number (of course because I'm ditzy with my Spending) Waiting for my new debit card to come in. So, my review and highly recommendation is Regions Bank especially the one on on Nova road In Ormond Beach ESPECIALLY with with Amy. I will update her last name for you When I find her card.

Staff at this location are nice as any other, but the bank practices itself are terrible…read more I applied for a first-lien heloc (i.e. currently no mortgage or lien-holders, I own the property outright) with a 830 credit score and they denied me despite being told I was in required parameters before applying. The reason I was told that I was denied is basically "the bank was protecting me from putting myself in financial trouble" ??? Funny, because I never needed a 3.5B federal TARP bailout. I didn't get a high credit score and own two homes outright by putting myself in financial risk. If it wasn't for the hard credit inquiry, I wouldn't be as upset, but after this i'm closing my deposit accounts asap. Why should I give them a free loan using my money when they won't get me a secured one?
