Very laid back, fourth generation family owned and adorable small business (owned by a wildcat alum) so an extra star for that! We stop here a few times a year for all our gourd needs- everyone needs gourds right? Canteen Gourds, Bottle Gourds, Club Gourds, Pear Gourds- who knew there were so many types of gourds?!? When you pull in and park at the cute home just ring the doorbell and let them know you're interested in Gourds and they'll give you a cart to start shopping. Gourds vary in price from $1 for the baby 3 inch Gourds to $17 for a 14 inch gourds. Also entertaining to watch the owner tally up and measure your gourds at checkout with their high tech gourd measuring device. :) Gourds are dried out and ready for cleaning and crafting etcetera. Gift shop with supplies and crafts on site. You can even purchase already cleaned gourds- check out their website! They also have gourd events and classes listed. I had a blast!!! So much fun. It was a long drive and I felt like I was almost to Mexico - but the guy who showed me around the farm was so fun and helpful. I bought a dozen gourds & other items and we had a fabulous time making thunder drum gourds this holiday. Fun project for kids to adults! Even my teen grandkids love it. I took a route through Florence on my way home and that was a delightful stop for lunch and shopping. I recommend this route for a nice day out. I want to go to the gourd festival this year! read more

Love, love, love this place. It really is as good as it gets for a gourd farm. Gourds are everywhere. They are in bins according to approximate size, type and whether they have been cleaned or not. A gourd hunter could spend hours here. Prices are reasonable and help given. This place is fantastic and definitely worth the trip. Love it. read more

Love this little family owned farm. They put on a great gourd fest every year at the fair grounds around May. Watch for it, it's so cute and creative. They have all kind of classes too. They also sell their gourds year round. Support local businesses! read more

Loved looking around. We initially came for a specific commission piece but upon seeing all the gourds I could see different ideas in each one so we got an assortment of them. We were directed to the little gift shop they had and everything was so amazing and gave me more ideas so I had to go right back out and buy a couple more! I had no clue what thunder gourd projects were but they blew my mind how they work. Definitely come here! read more

Came here with my boyfriend and our friends this morning and WOW what an amazing place!!! We were all new to gourds and wanted to learn how to craft with them, and the owner was so friendly and helpful in educating us. Like seriously he was so friendly and wonderful! It was so fun to walk around and pick out which ones we wanted, and sooo nice that they're organized by shape! And the store with craft supplies and beautiful art for inspiration was amazing!!
