The convertible top on my Audi started sagging because the factory glue couldn't handle Florida's heat. I went to the Audi dealer and was quoted $30,000 - absolutely outrageous. The color of the leather has been discontinued and I was very concerned that I would not be able to get it fixed. just now NEW We were recommended to Rick and Rodney from my Al Packer service agent to redo the convertible top on our 2013 Mustang. We are so happy we went with them. Rick and Rodney were so easy to talk to and work with. They answered all our questions, went over everything with us and were able to get us scheduled when we needed. We went from a vinyl to cloth convertible top , a new switch, and had two panels in the door redone. You can tell when you're there that Rodney takes so much pride and care in what he does. Rick at first seems like a smart & honest business man. He is far from that. About a year ago he installed a very expensive carpet in my truck. He assured me that his product was the best. The carpet faded & looks like it's 20 years old. This is a truck, not a convertible that the carpet is exposed to the sun. I am in the auto collision business & see carpets in vehicles that are 10-15 years old & look perfect. I asked him if he stood behind his product, his answer was "nope, I won't warranty the carpet". He said he would only replace the carpet (he agreed it looked like crap) if I repaid for it. Really dude, I wouldn't let you work on my bicycle. I am amazed he is still in business. read more

I asked Rick if I purchased an interior auto panel on 3-bay if he could install for me- when I got it made an appointment (very busy but got one for two weeks later) when I got there it was done in less than an hour while I waited, very reasonable charge, friendly guy. Brought my Porsche 911 with leather seat covers to be installed. Chris quoted me $200-$300 for installation. Upon picking up my car, the seat covers did not fit correctly (not his issue). Although I understand that he did not provide the covers, he noticed while working that the seat covers were incorrect. Instead of contacting me letting me know this before continuing to install (knowing I would probably have to return the covers and pay to reinstall the correct ones again) he finished installing them regardless. The seats looked terrible, uneven, crimped, and some material was doubled over. I was surprised that a well-regarded shop would even let me see the finished product. He also broke the lever on my seat that I had noticed and showed to him when getting my car. While I understand that I am paying him for his work, he should have stopped the minute he was aware that something wasn't right. Not only did he still ask me to pay him, but he charged me over the quote ($400)! A good company first and foremost, should have ceased the installation and called me and charged me for the work they had done up to that point. The issue is they continued to install it knowing it looked like crap and did not contact me at all and then charged me above the price quote. I now have to pay someone else to reinstall and am out $400 for nothing. This is not an honest company. read more
