My experience with DV8 has been nothing short of average from the very beginning. I spent over $8,000.00 there, believing they were the best in town. This included new rims, shocks, an alignment, a leveling kit, and a few other items that I won't mention. In hindsight, that was far from a good deal. The real issues surfaced when I noticed problems with my front tires. I called Ben, my sales representative, and explained what I was experiencing. He advised me to bring the truck in at 5 PM so they could take a look. I expected it was probably an alignment issue, which seemed reasonable. While I was waiting, I asked Ben what might be causing the uneven wear on my new front tires. He initially said it was due to my camper. When I explained that I hadn't towed the camper or anything else, he changed his story and claimed that my new truck had bad tie rods and a bad drag link. He made this diagnosis without even consulting the service technician. Next, he provided me with an estimate of $733.00 for a new alignment and tire rotation. Meanwhile, without my consent, they had already rotated my tires. I told them to hold off on that until I had a chance to realign the front end. To top it all off, I was hit with a $189.00 bill. When I questioned the charge for reviewing their poor work, the owner became furious and threw me out of the store. After reading their recent one-star reviews, it's clear that DV8 is no longer what it used to be. There are numerous one-star reviews from other customers in the past few months alone. It's unfortunate that many people spend a small fortune on their vehicles only to feel ripped off by the service they receive. I urge you to think twice before bringing your truck to DV8. If something goes wrong -- and it likely will -- they will refuse to take responsibility for their work. read more

On 06/30/2015 I purchased a 2015 Jeep JKU. Once I picked it up, I dropped it off to the Men at DV8, and Mark and I picked out the parts and add-ons I wanted. The parts were ordered and installed without the first problem. I would refer Mark and the guys for any truck or automotive need. Giolla (my JKU) is now ready to go! On 02/17/2017 I had to go back to have a steering shock repairs and Cary took care of business. He ordered the parts and repaired it in no time. Great owner, great team and great stuff. The absolute worst place I have ever been to have my truck lifted!! I went there and told them what I wanted and when I pick the truck up it was not anything like I asked. Then they said bring it back and once again it was worse than before. It took 8 visits to get to the point that I could drive it. They used wheel spacers from another truck that they were working on. I recommend not going there. Go to modifications unlimited. They are excellent. $4000 down the tunes. I'm still having issues. read more

brought my 2022 4Runner there yesterday 12/19/22 to get a Lift kit put on! Scheduled to make sure they fully leveled it! They called at 415 to tell me it was done early! I get there and the Front of my 4 runner is significantly higher than the back! So i walk in and say why does the front look higher? "because it is" It was supposed to be level a 2inch lift in the front and 3in in the back. "well i thought we would leave it like this and let it settle then if you want it level you can come back." no i want it level now i wont be back in town for awhile. "Well itll be quick if i can get a wrench in there oh no i have to take the tires off ohh and my guy is already on another project. but i have a couple hours tomorrow we could do it." So now something that could have and should have been done properly the first time will cost me more time and money not to mention the inconvenience of not having my vehicle because "YOU THOUGHT". Its not your vehicle not your time and not your money. I am the customer you had clear orders to level my vehicle and you chose not to because "YOU THOUGHT" This christmas present from my husband has turned into nothing but a pain in the ass. So now my husband has to fix your fuck up. And i have to get it realigned AGAIN! Because yall didnt just do what the customer asked you to do in the first place. And then continued to gas light your customer and expect them to pay for the hours to now do something that would have taken maybe 30 mins while in the process of the job. I am a travel nurse and only home for a week. I dont have the time for this ridiculous inconvenience you have now caused and dont care to fix properly on your dime because you fucked up. WAS shopping this company to lift my Jeep....... then I Witnessed an employee of this company BERATE a worker at the UPS facility for telling him he needed fill out the shipping label. When I say this man not only called her every name in the book but used racial slurs also I'm putting it lightly. How dare you think it's ok to act like this when you're wearing a company shirt, hat, driving a company vehicle & have your company name plastered on the packages you're shipping out. If this is how you treat people you do business with I hate to see how you treat your own customers. Between the Staff Ryan, Riley, Sean, and the other mechanic that worked on my truck, I forget his name but they were all great. Even when a minor adjustment was needed later it was quick and easy and fixed. They are not over priced. They are extremely fair and I highly recommend them! Can I give zero stars? I paid to install a JKS 3.5" lift kit on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, my first Jeep so I was very naive regarding lifts and Jeeps. After a few days my Jeep developed a "creeking" noise coming from the rear, it turned out it was a loose lower control arm bolt on Jeep passenger side, it was not painted to indicate that it was torqued. Again a few days a rattle and AGAIN a loose nuts on front brake line extension and again no paint to indicate that it was torqued. Of course, at this point I spent hours re-torquing everything just in case. And now the best one for last, the bump stops that came with the lift kit were never installed nor they were returned to me. At the time I had no idea what a bump stop was and why is needed but they are suppose to know that. Six months later I had to pay another shop to install the bump stops and avoid to ruin my Fox shocks by bottom out, or have the drag link hit the frame or my front tires to hit the fenders. A 4X4 SHOP SHOULD KNOW THAT BUMPSTOPS ARE ESSENTIAL PART OF A LIFT KIT. They took advantage of a naive customer and failed to do what they were paid to do. read more
