Surprising good egg sandwiches and scones. Smallish size so pretty cramped. Good find in town for basic brekkie

I have to say, I love this place! The food is the best, the other kitchen staff and people that work there are great. The only reason I have to give a low rating is because of the customer service. The girl with the long, curly, black hair, that is usually at the register, is not very friendly. Sometimes she's ok, but most of the time, you walk in and she turns around when she sees you coming. She doesn't even say hello or acknowledge that you're there. She makes you stand there and wait while she plays with the coffee or something. I can't figure out why they keep such an unfriendly face as the point of contact for customers. I'm local too and would like to continue to come back. read more

Good little place! I got the tomato basil soup with a slice of bread. It was fantastic! I dropped my bread on the floor and was so bummed because it had such a fresh homemade flavor. The staff saw that it fell and gave me another. The counter was a bit chaotic, but I attribute that to the loyal clientele they have. It seems like a popular place. read more

The service was incredibly rude. The gal at the counter with long black hair seemed to go out of her way to give poor and inconsiderate service. For a deli in a small tourist mountain town they must rely on out of towners because I can't imagine locals supporting this business. The sandwich I got was below average. There are many nice places to eat in Whitefish, Mt. but the Central deli is not one of them. read more

I walked in and was pleasantly surprised by the fast service even though they were busy and the food was priced pretty good, especially for a busy ski town at lunch time. And they let me order breakfast food even though it was lunch time! Seating was simple and i loved the bar seating at the window and you can people watch while you enjoy your meal :) Friendly staff and very helpful, pretty easy going going which is nice :) read more

I have been going to this bakery for a while now and although they have a sandwich I like there, I will no longer go there. The portions have gotten smaller and smaller. I got a side with my sandwich and got a little over a scoop of pasta. I paid about $9 and it was barely enough to fill me up- more a snack. I have also found a hair in my food before, as the workers do not have hair pulled back well. Overpriced for what you get. read more

Great fresh pastries and bagels daily. Bagels as good as I've had anywhere (even Bruggers in New York). We stayed in Whitefish for a week and visited this place several times to carry out fresh breakfast foods - they are open early (730 am). Charming and friendly staff and simply delicious bakery items, and so handy right down on Central Ave. a couple of blocks from where we were staying. read more

My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE their breakfast crossaints! As Whitefish locals, we recommend this place to all who ask for the best, quickest breakfast in town. However, the normally friendly staff has seemed to have undergone some turnover and since the change, we've felt slowly more uncomfortable going in there. Today we had an appointment to be at so we called our order in to pick up on our way out of town. While on the phone, the woman taking our order was impatient, rude, and eventually hung up on me in the middle of a sentence before I could check the order over. To be expected, we showed up and the order was placed wrong; they completely neglected half of it. When confronted about hanging up on me, another woman proceeded to tell us how busy they had been and how hard it was to hear us. My boyfriend and I surely could relate to the trials of being busy in the food industry, however, it was the nature of the way she dismissed our concern with excuse that truly upset us. We go here at least once a week, we are clearly loyal customers, and to be passed off as an inconvenience to them because they had other customers was truly insulting. Aside from the way the young woman addressed me to begin with, it was completely inappropriate to be hung up on and they made no effort whatsoever to smooth the situation over. In fact, as I said before, they exacerbated the situation with excuses. Needless to say, I think we'll be finding another new breakfast sandwich in town with friendlier staff to visit with.
