East St Barber Shop has an amazing atmosphere that you just want to be around. They are great in that they cater to children with a little play area and toys. Ease St Barber is the only place I will go to as long as I live in the Belton-Temple area. I highly recommend this amazing group of barbers if you are looking for one. I would advise doing research on when is best for you, and/or your family, to go. Realize this place is the best and everyone wants Michael, Paddy or Brandy to service them. I have been in and seen quickly and at times there has been a line to wait. I will also say that if there is a line, wait in it. You will not find a better place and in the end you will not be as happy. Personally, I would wait as long as it take to let them cut my hair, provide a clean shave or whatever I am wanting. It is worth the wait. Lastly, I will say that I have some of the best conversations with all there of the artists and I would go there just for that. They are great people to talk to, to get to know and just be around.

When I was finally seated, the lady had no idea what I was asking for and was extremely nervous. She asked what I wanted about 3-4 times. She said "I hope I don't mess this up" and "are you sure" multiple times. She started to fade my hair and said "I'll start with a low fade in case I mess it up" at that point I just stood up and left. Just got the worst haircut I have ever had here. I am always very clear on what i want, warn them…read moreof my egg head above a certain point and have a picture of exactly what i want. low taper below the ears and 1/2" cut off the top then blend it..this is a standard crew cut....I should have known this would be bad when the guy did not even understand a taper vs. a fade. He cut my hair with a high fade which was not even a fade..it was just buzzed the same length up damn near the top of my head about 2.5" above my ear....not a low taper at all. It got worse when he did not blend in the top that was 1.5 to 2 inches long and managed to cut my cow lick in half in this manner. He thought he was done, but i had to point out a 3/4" difference in length on my left side vs. the right....needless to say i had to leave here and go directly to another salon to pay them to fix it as much as they could. the end result is a finger length (very short) cut on top that looks terrible for my head shape. Its always hit or miss here due to the rotation of new people working and I will not be back. Find somewhere else to go....trust me.
