I really appreciated the initial walkthrough, where I was able to identify specific areas I wanted addressed during cleaning. My husband and I needed a move out of our home since we relocated for work and we needed a move out cleaning service. We called Central Coast Cleaning. The receptionist was friendly, told us about all their services, the products the cleaners bring, their hourly rates, and she was able to book a weekday appointment 2 weeks out. We confirmed with them the day before. The good ends there. On the day of the cleaning the cleaners were over an hour and a half late. My husband called about 20 minutes past their appointment to see where the cleaners were (note--they didn't call us to say they'd be late) and the super friendly receptionist wasn't so friendly anymore. She said she didn't know where they were or when they'd get there. My husband waited another hour (in an empty house with no furniture, internet, etc.) and then called again and got the same reply, she didn't know anything! At 3:30pm the cleaners finally showed to the 2pm cleaning appointment. They made no mention of the time or of being late. When my husband tried to tell them areas to clean and what to focus on, they communicated with their hands that they spoke no English and couldn't understand him. He does speak Spanish, luckily, but since he's African American they assumed he couldn't and started talking about working slow and taking their time (they are paid per hour) in the house. When he first spoke Spanish to them, they looked shocked (great customer service!) Mid-way through the cleaning, the cleaners said they didn't have the right products to finish the entire move out cleaning we ordered. They didn't bring products for the tub or the stove. I was very very very disappointed in their "service" and do not refer them. I would advise you take your money to a professional cleaner who will be on time, show your customers respect and bring the products they promised in the first place. read more

Back in December we called this company to clean our office. I always try to support local small businesses. First visit their staff never showed up as scheduled. Waited figuring I would get a call at some point. Next day after hearing nothing I called their office and spoke to a lady (memory recall; Marguerite?). Explained the situation. She told me a Supervisor would call me back. Never heard anything after that. No phone call, visit, etc. There are other choices from companies with professional follow through - shop around. read more

Came down to Pacific Grove to help out my mom, who's been sick and unable to clean properly. She got a quote from these guys to come and do deep cleaning on her kitchen and bathroom. On the appointed day, the cleaners were exactly on time, extremely friendly, and worked hard. When the cleaning went over the allotted time, Grace had them finish the job and didn't charge for the extra. The next day, she came over herself to inspect the work, then offered to have the cleaners come back to take care of a few missed spots -- again, free of charge.
