I have been in here a few times to look at new lenses and get my glasses repaired, and every time the gentlemen at the desk seems very annoyed to help. Keep in mind, there is either no one or maybe one other person when I walk in, so it's not like it's packed or anything. Today I went in to get my glasses realigned and the same gentleman was at the desk sitting down looking super annoyed and said I'll get to you when I can, you can grab a seat. I waited for a bit as he just sat there and stared at the other customer that was looking around then was on his phone. I'm not sure why this location's customer service is as drastically different from the Paso one as it is (I assume they have the same owner), but I would highly recommend checking out the Paso Robles location vs this one!

Dr. Mitchelina was amazing! She was patient, informative & thorough. She never made me feel rushed or hurried & now I can SEE again! I'm thinking it wasn't just because my glasses were old & scratched up, but that I needed a new prescription! He takes meticulous notes and refers back to them on future visits, something for some reason other doctors don't do. Having a history with him has been really good for my vision. I'm in my 50's and still don't need reading glasses because he's adjusted my contacts so I can see near and far. My 3 kids also wear glasses and have been treating with him almost their whole lives. He takes VSP and other vision insurance. He also takes appointments on Saturdays, which is a big plus. The optical part is separate and they have a good selection.

The Doctors here are great, I have been going for several years to this clinic and received great…read morecare for my eyes. However sometimes I have other problems at this location. Some things that have happened recently over the last year or 2 that are making me consider finding a new place to go. - One appointment for a visual field test late last year I think, and I waited 30-40 minutes, I was told someone forgot to start up the machine and that it takes that long to initialize. Another time, the machine broke and I had to drive to San Luis Obispo for the test. - I have had to reschedule an appointment recently and its difficult. I had to call multiple times and no one picks up the phone, I leave messages and nobody calls back. I used the Klara app and get no response other then a link to schedule a new appointment - which doesn't help with cancelling an existing one. After several calls I finally got someone. - Another appointment about 6 months ago, one of the assistants seem to give me a difficult time about my glasses which I got at another local optical shop previously. They remarked the glasses looked old and didn't seem to believe the prescription was right. My prescription didn't change from the last 2 eye exams and I see 20 / 20 with the glasses so they are fine. I let them scan the glasses to confirm the prescription. But I also recall them asking why I didn't get the glasses at Pacific Eye's optical shop which is really none of their business.
