He's great at making patients feel comfortable as he tests your vision and figures out what prescription works for you. He listens to his patients to understand their needs, not just their eyesight. In addition, he's great at making patients relaxed for kind of unnerving tests like the little glaucoma stick. The staff up front were super helpful, too. They helped me pick out a frame I liked, and listened to my requests (absolutely no rhinestones, for instance) while also making trendy recommendations. I ended up picking out some black cat eyes that look super great on me. In addition, they have a special program for people whose insurance doesn't cover most of the cost. I have been in here a few times to look at new lenses and get my glasses repaired, and every time the gentlemen at the desk seems very annoyed to help. Keep in mind, there is either no one or maybe one other person when I walk in, so it's not like it's packed or anything. Today I went in to get my glasses realigned and the same gentleman was at the desk sitting down looking super annoyed and said I'll get to you when I can, you can grab a seat. I waited for a bit as he just sat there and stared at the other customer that was looking around then was on his phone. I'm not sure why this location's customer service is as drastically different from the Paso one as it is (I assume they have the same owner), but I would highly recommend checking out the Paso Robles location vs this one!

He gave me realistic expectations. (No x-Ray vision? Darn!!) Dr. Rasheed will not perform LASIK on a patient who is not a good candidate just to make a buck. I, for one appreciate his direct approach to this very critical procedure. It's unfortunate to see that some do not appreciate that type of honesty. I wouldn't want anyone to perform LASIK on my eyes, potentially rendering me blind just because I think I should have it. If you're not a good candidate, it's understandable to be bummed out, but Dr. Rasheed and Dr. Sani are the experts, folks. Then for my appt, it was supposed to be back to back, mine was at 10, we were there still, and at 10, she stated there were THREE people ahead of me, so an hour wait. Didn't mention they stated they "squeezed Max in today," so therefore the wait, because of their schedule mishap. Felt disrespected and won't go back.
