The tile was laid so beautifully and much of the floor had to be laid down one piece at a time. The frame is so expertly mitered and joined. They cleaned everything up perfectly afterward. Me being a contractor, in a different field, had knowledge of the proper order of procedure for this project to be completed properly. In the initial meeting, addressing the issue of a dip in the floor was my main concern. I was assured that it was no problem. When it came time to the actual repair, he told me that he did not know how to fix it. So, I had to fix it myself. Also, I had to go back over his extremely shotty workmanship on the sheet rock, the painting, and the plumbing as he continued to drag his feet through this project over an 8-month period. He constantly wanted me to pay him before the actual payment was sent from the lender. Which I did to help him out because of his lack of funds. Big red flag! He was unable to keep the proper information and paperwork to the lender, in a timely manner, to keep the payments flowing. Needing to move back in, I worked nights and weekends, in the house, to get it to livable conditions. I paid his last invoice of nearly 12,000.00 and have not been reimbursed from the lender because of his lack of completion of just the renovation itself. After being ghosted for a couple of months, he finally responded with a text stating that it was too much of a hassle to send invoices and have his work inspected before payment. The garage was never even started. I have wires for the exterior lights hanging out of my house. I tried my best to help this fellow to complete this project by buying and delivering materials, cleaning up his constant messes, going over his work, paying him out of my pocket, and being patent with his procrastination of completing just the renovation. I hope no other homeowner has to go through this. Beware!

He does not have a standard crew and has no pre-planning ability thus leading to unnecessary delays. We decided to part ways with him as our job was scheduled to be completed in January...it's March and still "looking for someone to assist him". We should have stuck with our initial thoughts of severing the contract last month, but decided to give him (owner) a chance to fix it. When we had enough and asked him to finish the paint job that he was fully paid for and we would complete the project at a later time he came to our home gathered his tools and left without completing the job. I have receipts showing he was paid in full, video of the state of our home, text messages and contract to prove all of this. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else. He has multiple names for his business and recently merged with his wife using Navy & Grey designs! They did via email, telling me that someone would be "following up soon". I never heard back. Out of curiosity, I called again today and went through the same exercise with the menus. Gone are the days of personalized service where at LEAST one can talk to a person on the phone. I doubt that these people have such a " large volume of calls" as the phone recording says. If so, it would be better if they'd hire someone to field calls. It would be interesting to know how much business they've lost due to poor customer service.
