I highly recommend The Door and Window store. Yes, sometimes they are busy. I always take a picture or the piece of the door I need which is pain full as my doors are solid wood 32 x 80 inches and extremely heavy. I find that if you give respect you get respect. Many times I hear customers that are clueless about what they need, using improper technology and expect the staff to be mind readers. Please give them a chance and I am sure will have the same wonderful experience I always have with them. I called and spoke with Zack (didn't mention our previous interaction at another property) and we made an appointment and he showed up when he said he would - a good start considering previous experience. He then advised me that he didn't have material on his truck for the repair, but would have the screens ready later in the week by Friday. Friday morning comes and I've not heard anything from Zack. Around 1p I called The Mobile Screen Shop and left a message asking about the screens and for a call back. Zack returned my call about an hour later, apologizing for not being in touch - I kind of felt (based on what he said) that my screens were forgotten about, but said Steve would be by my house later with them. Steve did in fact show up as promised with the screens - all good. In the end, it all worked out, yet I still can't help but feel like this is a side gig for these folks or something? I feel like if I hadn't called to follow up yesterday afternoon I would still be without my screens. Lastly, I should add that Zack called me after my initial review a year ago and apologized for the misunderstanding which is why I decided to give them another chance this last time.

He came to our home in May and we ordered new window coverings for about half our home. Gave him 50% (approx $2,500) down. He said new window coverings would be ready mid July. In July, also gave him one of our existing window coverings to be restrung. Have not heard from him since. Have left numerous texts, phone messages, and even taped notes to his store door. No response at all. Getting very frustrated. My wife is talking about taking legal action against him to recover our down payment. He looked over my screens and stated that because of the type of screens they are they are glued and cannot be tightened. He explained himself thoroughly and said he could replace them but that they are fine and just use them until they need to be replaced. He put me at ease and did not charge me anything at all.
