Absolutely awesome. I've been a patient for years but had to return due to my insurance requesting updated images. Their machine broke Friday. Things happen, and they kept me updated even when I had a minor emotional breakdown on the poor lady calling. These absolutely fantastic folks were able to get me in on a day they were normally closed. I'm in a fair amount of pain and need this to move forward to get relief. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I paid cash because, again, my insurance and they didn't treat me as someone who was lesser than for choosing that method. Thank you, to all of you. Central imaging is my choice for all images that are prescribed to be done by my physicians. I have found over the years that the staff the technicians, the people in the back whoever answers the phone are always willing to help you. I definitely suggest that if you need an x-ray and MRI etc. that you first considered essential imaging. read more

I had an appointment for a simple X-ray (cervical) scheduled for 8 AM and upon arrival they told me they could not take me because I wasn't there at 7:45 even though the business doesn't open until 8 AM. There was one person in the waiting room so it wasn't busy. This is a health care facility which does not care about the healthcare of its customers. I know they don't make much money on x-rays so it's apparently about profits over healthcare. They sent me out the door not even offering to call me if there was a cancellation later in the day. read more

Had a MRI done at 7:00 am, the receptionist helped me out with the paperwork and Sherrie handled the MRI. Both ladies were very pleasant and helpful. Hopefully I never need another MRI, but if so this is the place I would want to come back to. read more

This is a two part review. Part one: the reception. I don't expect a party when I arrive at a practice, but at least a friendly hello and eye contact. The lady working the front desk on this Saturday morning was obviously very unhappy to be working. Needless to say, the prescan process was about as bad as it could have been. Rude, cold, more interested in texting on her phone than the customer in front of her. For that experience I rate it one star at best. part two: the scan... the MRI tech was exactly what you want - friendly, explained the process and got things going quickly. The open MRI offers...well, a more open experience. But it's still a tight space. Halfway through the procedure I needed the contrast injected - again the tech was awesome. I'm not good with needles, but he was a pro. Once past the angry front desk lady - I rate my experience with five stars. They gave me an image disk and the report was sent to the doctor within a reasonably short amount of time. When I stopped in to get the radiologist report - the front desk experience was professional and as to be expected. Interesting how just one person can have such an impact on the entire entity. read more

I just called a while ago to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, they do not provide services needed by me at this time. I have been a long term customer and have never been treated the way Paige did over the phone. I did have a question for her and she abruptly interrupted me twice. She needs to be sent to both, basic customer service and phone etiquette training. read more

The staff was extremely helpful for me and scheduling my MRI. I had previously undergone a surgery that made it nearly impossible to lay down for an hour (hemorrhoidectomy). The staff was very helpful accommodating me and helping me while I had to have the MRI done. The staff was very flexible with my schedule since I had to hold off for about a month and everything went well with the MRI. read more

I made an appointment online, submitting my insurance information along with a PDF of the cards and of the order form for the MRI. My doctor told me it would take a few weeks to get approval through my insurance, so I waited. Made a call to them and the front office woman who answered the phone told me rudely "I don't know" to my questions. I had to ask if she could find out for me. Not very professional, but I let it go. She comes back to the phone and says there is nothing. So I ask her would they prefer I bring everything in, because I submitted it online with confirmation. She asked what I needed done. I read the order form to her and she LAUGHED. I'm sorry, but my medical issues aren't funny. Told me I needed to call my doctor to see what he actually wanted. That was beyond rude and I was highly upset. I don't understand what is so funny about my medical order forms. Wouldn't even tell me what I needed to do since their online system isn't working. I won't be coming in. This place should probably reconsider their staff if they want their business to stay working efficiently. read more

I wanted to take the time to provide a review for Central Imaging Open MRI of St. Petersburg, FL. on Central Avenue. Earlier in the day I went to another MRI facility and had an extreme difficulty with the equipment because it was enclosed. The availability of having an "open" MRI chamber made the process so much better for me. I also wanted to comment on the staff. The staff at Central Imaging was so much more friendly and accommodating that it made the process as enjoyable as possible (considering why I was there).
