This mall however still has most of their stores open and crowded and there's a decent amount of foot traffic. There's also a good amount of food options around. Mall was also clean. Hopefully it stays open, and employees who work at the mall remain employed.

The parking lot is full of potholes, and the overall experience started off poorly due to an aggressive driver. The mall looks old, run-down, and in need of repairs, with very few stores that interested me. The food court was just okay (see my other reviews). I'd likely only return to try the outward-facing restaurants. Overall, this mall was disappointing.

The giant rear parking lot here was just naturally a good place for all of us to chill. And was always good for a early morning Bun Run.. Mister Cheapo records and CDs Still Remains, so many of the original stores like Burlington gone to memory. I saw that the Italian place Chao has gone out of business, a shame I've enjoyed many wonderful meals there. Best Supermarket is now the Cornerstone Supermarket here and Brooklyn Pizza is still in the house. A busy local spot teeming with the Commack community's business activity. The Outback Steakhouse is one of the original Outbacks that I have been going for many years. Some of my best memories are in this Outback restaurant here. Verizon now has a free-standing building with the old gas station used to be the shopping center remains at the center of Commack's vibrant Community. I always enjoy visiting the Mayfair and shopping here whenever I am in the area. I can't help think of the memories and times that I've had here. They not only guided me during the scavenger hunt, but also educated me on the quality of the meats, the preservation process, and even explained the taste, texture, and best seasonings to pair with different cuts. The products themselves were so unique and exciting--things you don't find just anywhere, like ostrich, beef organs, tongue, and more. The variety of stores here is like a buffet for your wallet, offering a little something for everyone. I love visiting occasionally to shop and hang out with friends. It's a great spot to bond over spontaneous purchases and the eternal debate of whether we really need another pair of shoes. I used to be a regular here, practically a mall rat. But, you know, adulting happened. Still, every trip down these halls is a stroll down memory lane. Malls are like dinosaurs - magnificent, nostalgic, and unfortunately, a bit endangered. Now almost 20 years later it's wild seeing how much this mall changed. New stores popped up and every square inch filled. It's not just a mall anymore- it's almost like a one-stop shop for everything. There's Stop & Shop supermarket, casual chain restaurants like Olive Garden, LongHorn and a few others, plus all the shopping you need in one place. For us, it works since we'll be living a few minutes away now and will be easy to slide on through real quick.

Cava was its most recent grand opening and I'm so happy they are adding healthy option places. There is always security present and walking the mall. During high peak season they don't hire extra help to sort any congestion in parking lots and security for extra added attention to detail. Cross county is great on holiday festivities and love food drink market they have throughout the year. Great Prices and safety while shopping is so important and I definitely feel safe shopping here. Wide variety of stores to provide all items you made need from Target, and Macy's.
