This mall is one of the better ones I have been to. Very clean and well organized. I came in a Saturday so I assumed it would be crowded. It was, but with all the space I didn't feel like people were walking on top of me. There are many parking areas including garages and outdoors. Definitely better than most malls. read more

There are many wonderful shops and good restaurants, and cafes in the mall. Macy's, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic and Disney store are my favorite shops. My only complaint is that the mall's restroom is dirty. read more

I was (and still am) in the market for a new parka / puffer coat and really wanted to find one at Roosevelt Field Mall. I frequented many stores and in each one of them, the staff was super kind, attentive and friendly. I'm talking from Nordstrom to UniQlo to Columbia. Many didn't have my size which is what sucked, so while I'm left without a new puffer for now, I am still happy with the overall experience at this mall. Also given that it was my first time and around the holidays, I expected a lot of chaos and craziness, but it wasn't really all that bad at all. Finding a spot in the parking lot took a bit but there is extensive (and free!) parking. Also, the restrooms were clean and spacious, and had an attendant who was cleaning, which I always fully appreciate seeing. Beautiful holiday decorations and also the usual mall food options - though the food court was on the second floor, I believe, but an unexpected closer location for me since I was hungry and ended up getting a chicken salad bowl (delicious). In the last decade or so - especially since the construction of the Neiman Marcus wing, it has become more & more high end than it used to be. There are plenty of stores to shop in. There are three levels, with the basement having an activity area for kids to play, as well as an arcade. There is a post office an a UPS store in the basement as well. There are plenty of restaurants as well as a food court and food kiosks throughout the mall. There is a movie theater, but you have to access it from the outside of the mall. I would suggest to avoid this place though around the holiday season as it is a zoo, the parking lots get crazier too. read more

Went to Swarovski today with my korean wife, she looked at a few things and was picking up the display boxes. The sales person, now known to me as the manager had asked her not to touch the display boxes on the selves, because people work so hard to make the display, my wife didn't understand him and he then made a comment " It's like talking to a wall" I guess since I'm also asian, he didnt think we understood english. I asked him did he speak to all his customers this way? I guess he was embarrassed because he had nothing to say. I asked who is the manager and he said he was. He then said I told her not to touch the displays and she didn't listen. I said maybe she didnt understand you. I guess if you dont understand these people they take about you, right in front of you. Beautiful & modern mall, lots of parking, clean bathrooms and lots of store options. Travel from the Bronx to this mall as often as i can

I'm not really a mall-loving kinda gal but sometimes you need a bunch of things right away (hello, Xmas shopping). I grew up going to this mall, which for Long Island was the best in my 80s opinion. It was bougier than Sunrise, that's for sure. I mean, they had Bloomingdales! And the Macy's was way better than Macy's in the other malls. There's a Lush and the aforementioned huge department stores (and Nordstrom), an Apple store, Hermes (just throwing that in there for bougier than thou sake. I don't personally shop there) and most important, my beloved Gregory's coffee. You do not need Starbucks if Gregory's is around. They are legit the best coffee chain in America (with great non dairy options and even some plant based sandwiches and baked goods). This mall is enormous and it's easy to miss things with the various halls and side halls. An impressive food court to suit just about any dietary preference and True Food Kitchen if I ever want a sit down healthy meal. I typically avoid malls but I won't be dragged kicking and screaming into this one. read more

I also appreciate the variety of food options; whether I'm in the mood for a quick bite in the food court or a sit down meal, there's plenty to choose from. Staff throughout the mall have generally been friendly, and I've rarely had issues with cleanliness or security. It definitely feels like a place that's well cared for. After all these years, Roosevelt Field still holds up as one of the best, most reliable malls on Long Island. I've always liked coming to this mall. I do love how they redid it, especially the food court. There's more healthy options to choose from. I like how the food court is to the side and not in the middle of the mall. I like how there's new stores as well. Some stores I do miss having there. I remember there was this soap store that I adored. It's been so long that I forgot the name of it, but I remember one of the soaps was a scrub and I loved the smell of it. When I came into the mall saw that the custodians were cleaning, which is nice to see. read more

Man, Roosevelt Field Mall has been on my list for about two years, and making this stop was well worth it as it happened to be this year, 2023. I made this stop while I was in Long Island, and was able to do it because it was on my way home. Possibly one day maybe I'll make this stop again from home because it REALLY was worth it. Traffic and parking are the main concern, coming and leaving - caution is definitely required. Finding a parking spot was no trouble, as the parking lot is huge with different areas, also including parking garages. For me, it didn't take too long to find a spot. The mall itself has a beautiful interior look, despite a big renovation that took place a while back but doesn't affect anything. The hallways look extremely clean, kept up, and nicely touched which made it so enjoyable to look at. The time they put into it sure pays off. Take a look for yourself when you visit, and just take in what's all around, kind of has that nature feel, except, obviously, you're inside. Each section of the mall has a unique look in terms of that. There are a number of stores and services to offer - many with familiar brand names, Macy's, JCPenny (not closing any time soon), Norstrom, Bloomingdale's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Primark, along with many high-end stores which will not ring a bell to most. Most of them looked very appealing with nice products and also looked fancy. The food court is a great place to go to, with many food choices to pick from, along with many tables and seats. Also, there are a number of restaurants to choose from as well, in different areas of the mall. A lot is offered under one roof. I'd say this is one of those malls you could just walk around all day, with so much nice scenery to take in and to just simply kill time. I honestly can't wait to make this stop again. read more

huge!!! This mall is absolutely huge! I've been here i believe 3 times, and i have yet to go through this entire mall. I mainly come for the savage fenty store. I wanna be able to purchase my stuff in store rather than going online. But, i went on a Sunday and the mall closed at 7. I reached about 545 so it didn't give me enough time to truly explore. Honestly service isn't really an option in many stores, they have brands but the room/ store space is really small so. Ex: retail stores don't usually have assistance, unless we're talking about stuff like Sephora, other than that they really don't have customer help at all. Stores are popular, though the selection isn't so great because of store size. Food courts are usually very messy. Store is overcrowded usually. Lots of people go here. The price are and value normal depends on the stores you go to. read more

Honestly if this mall ever shuts down, mall culture on Long Island will never be the same again. It's the best place to shop on Long Island, high end stores, bargain deals and a plethora of places to eat. Venture out a bit further and you can find Target, Barnes and Nobles, Costco and Lowes in the surrounding area. In addition to its size, its also an attractive mall considering many portions of it have glass ceilings you can see the sky above. My only complaints are really just parking and getting to the location. You come here during the peak on a weekend? May the odds be ever in your favor. Plus the roadway around the mall can be a bit complex so, for me, its hard to land in the exact area of the mall you want to enter. I usually find myself at the Bloomingdale's or Macy's entrance and sort myself out from there. But overall, if you're looking for a post pandemic mall experience on LI, I highly recommend! read more

Hard to rate a shopping center. Roosevelt field does have roundabouts in driving and parking areas. Much more helpful signage since along time ago. Different stores there then some of my previous visits. ( see my reviews) Zagg was near Apple Store in middle kiosk. Auntie Anne's gave out samples, of course leading me to buy pretzels. Venchi was a nice sweet spot to stop for really expensive fresh orange peels, kiosk that sell costume jewelry was out of my budget for a pair of tiny earrings. Yet I did enjoy shopping and was able to ask merchant where certain places were. I got in and out easily and ( see pix) there were even some pretty potted plants and flowers outside. read more

This is a pretty decent mall with many stores and lots of parking. Located on Long Island in Queens, it took about 40 min to get here from the LIC/Astoria area. I'm sure you can prob get here by public transportation but it would take awhile from Manhattan. We came on a Sat around 12pm and it was pretty packed. The food court is located near Primark on the 2nd floor. There was a chick fil la with a long line but it looked like it was moving fast. There is also little beet (healthy option), wendys, teriyaki place, cheesesteak place, naya, and taste of little india; those were the main places I remembered in the food court. After eating we walked around the mall for about an hour There are many stores and major dept stores (nordtorm, bloomingdales) to explore. There are some full service restaurants in the mall as well. read more

Came on a Sunday and there's a reasonable crowd. For any mothers nursing or pumping, there are nursing rooms!! There's one by the food court bathroom but it requires security to open the door for you. There's another one on the 3rd floor of Nordstorm in the bathroom by the children's section and it's very nice with sofas and outlets if you're pumping! read more

I really like this mall. There are so many retail stores ranging from the most famous brand names to more boutique outlets. The layout of the mall is easy to navigate and it is always impeccably clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms are easily accessible and the mall is not overly crowded. A great feature of the mall is the food court situated at its center. There are about a dozen food stalls that are all of reasonable quality. I visit this mall about once a month and will continue doing so based on my positive shopping and dining experiences. read more

The Roosevelt Field mall is the largest mall in New York State and the tenth largest in the country. The mall impressed me with how large it actually is. What makes it feel larger is that it is actually only two floors but is extremely wide and seems to go on and on. The main stores that anchor the place are large, popular chains such as Macy's, Bloomingdale's, JC Penney, and Nordstrom. However, there are over 200 stores total and full service restaurants along with food court stalls. There is something for everyone here even if you are not a big fan of shopping malls. read more

I can't believe I haven't given a review on the largest shopping hall in the county. Been shopping here all my life! It is a popular shopping mall as it holds 4 large shops, Macy's, JC Penny , Nordstrom , Bloomingdale's aside from various brand name and local shops. It has large food court in the middle and a spread out stalls for other food vendors. Decorations are adorable especially this time of the year. What else can you ask for? Huge parking lot. Terrible experience, NEVER WALK IN SPENCERS. Worst experience of walking into a store in my entire life. We walked in (me and my friends), then we decided to look at T-shirts and started laughing. A worker came over asked if we were looking for anything specific, we said no then they proceeded to ask us for our age (We are of age) with an obnoxious attitude. They mentioned they would not be "babysitting" and then the manager proceeded to say "get the hell out of my store". Not saying anything me and my friends were stoked and shocked, never in our entire life had we experienced something like this. Then she proceeded to say "You think you're all that but your not girly pops, I got news for you". First off, thats NO way to talk to any customer, just because your a manger doesn't mean you can act like your above the customer and it doesn't give you the excuse to be an asshole. It was a very unpleasant welcome. If this store stays up it will continue to drive people away. This store "manager" needs to be taught a lesson and needs to be put in her place. Extremely unhappy and WORST store I've ever been into. All the other stores are great and amazing, just this Spencers in particular needs a good shift lesson on how to treat people. I've been coming here for decades, since I was a teenager capable of driving. Recent renovations have made it better than ever. Everything looks more modern and clean. The food court is especially attractive now. I hope this thing stays here for at least another few decades. Bringing my wife and kids here is still a great way to spend a few hours together. We get to walk together, eat together, and even buy some needed items. Hopefully places like this mall recover fast from this COVID thing. Generally I'm not a big fan of malls but hey, with COVID etc. we are so confined to a set of limited activities. While looking to escape the city with our newborn we decided to check this mall out as it not only has great options to shop, but equally good options to dine in which was our primary motive. I liked how this mall is laid out, wide lanes, and easy to avoid other people and maintain distance as it is very spacious. We did end up doing some shopping and but star of the day was our ability to do proper sit-down lunch and dinner at the in house restaurants. We didn't end up eating at the food court but the options looked great. Definitely a nice mall and we will be back to try out some of the other dining options including the food court. read more

I love walking with my friends and going into each store with different styles. There are a lot of parking spaces, which is helpful when the mall gets packed. I am constant movie goer of Roosevelt field theaters for 4 years now. But today I saw racism at its finest, my family i were calmly watching the mission impossible movie when my phone vibrated, I was expecting a very important notification, I discretely pull out my phone to look at it and put it right back in my pocket. When I felt two hard tap at my back and a white guest yells at me "put your fucking phone away". I was confused at, who he was talking to because I only looked at it briefly and put it back in my pocket. I told him "who are you talking to i just looked at phone briefly and put in my pocket". After our back and fought, he stood up as if he wanted to fight me but instead he went to a manager and complained that I was threatening him even though he started the whole conflict. I quietly sat back down and continued to watch the movie. Then after 5 minutes, the manager Sam Rappold came into the theater and told me that I would have to leave without here me out about the situation and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. I was very angry that he didn't even ask me what happened or even ask to speak with me outside about the situation. When the manager was asked what the guest said he just said the guest felt threatened by me a black male but I'm not surprised. The other supervisor Aladen gulmohamd was told about the situation and decided to do nothing as well. So for those who go there if your black just know that management is very racist and will not hear your concerns so beware. read more
