And they do all the work from Houston while our home is outside of Austin, TX. During the whole process we never had a face to face encounter! Moose and his team are experts at working virtually with sellers and buyers. All the showings are scheduled seamlessly on a virtual calendar and we even receive text reminders. Because of their excellent communication, numerous showings occurred rapidly and our house sold in less than 24 hours! Moose thinks outside of the box when it comes to real estate. He saved us a huge amount of money on the listing commission and is a tough negotiator. That is something that no local realtor could offer us. Working remotely with Moose was a great experience. Recently, he helped us to sell our primary (at more than the asking price) and purchase a new house. As part of the deal, he negotiated a new roof paid mostly by the sellers when the home was being sold "as-is". We were concerned that we would not be able to buy a home in such a hot sellers' market because we could only go FHA. Moose found a service through Homeward Mortgage that allowed us to make a cash offer. This won us the house! The process with Homeward was super easy, they led us through every step, and made it a very simple process. Without Moose finding this service for us and ensuring our process with them went smoothly, we probably would still be looking instead of finishing unpacking boxes :). We strongly recommend Moose. He's definitely the best, and we will be working with him again in the future.

Out of my massive network of friends and acquaintances, I know a good amount of realtors. But I didn't hire any of them. I wanted Kathlyn! Kathlyn Curtis came as a referral from one of my closest friends who knows Kathlyn from her past life as a tax attorney. "Kathlyn will fight tooth and nail for you," my girlfriend told me. "I've seen her with clients." I was also informed because of her law background, she's meticulous, great with contracts and negotiations. Hired. Kathlyn is also a 5th-generation Houstonian. Which translates to she knows Houston! I mean, as the Yelp CM for Greater Houston and a native Houstonian myself, I thought I knew Houston - but Kathlyn Curtis truly knows H-town Realestate: the neighborhoods, schools, history, demands/trends, builders, developers, contractors... I appreciated all of the insight and feedback she gave to me. There was one particular home that I had high interest in, and she flat out told me she wasn't comfortable selling me a home in that particular neighborhood. And she was right. Crime report was pretty bad. In the end, after house hunting for a few months, I was able to close on my dream casa. Well, my starter home. Nex thome will have a pool. ;) Overall, start to finish Kathlyn was 5-stars. She works hard, she knows Realestate and I'm so grateful I hired her!

I was very impressed about her knowledge of the real estate markets, various areas within Houston, and details on each home. As this was our family's first home purchase she provided unbiased guidance on which area to buy in, what the process entailed, and advocated for us when negotiating the sale. Kat and her staff are very passionate about the Houston Real Estate market and it shows in everything they do. I will use her again to purchase and sell any real estate going forward in Houston and would/have recommended her to my friends and family who are in the process of purchasing a home.

    After reading the reviews, I noticed most of the high ratings come from owners. That might explain…read morethe difference in experience, because as a tenant this company was difficult to deal with. Email communication often felt passive aggressive and any time I asked a simple question, I got long policy explanations instead of a real answer. I had to follow up several times just to try to renew my lease and kept getting the runaround. I eventually moved because paying rent on time should not come with that much hassle or uncertainty. I rarely needed maintenance since I handled most things myself. Getting my security deposit back took far too long and every time I asked about it, I got more excuses. They charged a 250 application fee, a 25 per person monthly service fee on top of rent, and even offered a 95 option to fast track the return of my own security deposit. On top of that, they offered to charge 495 for move out cleaning. No thanks I can do that myself. I've never ever not gotten back a security deposit. I'm not that person. Everything felt transactional and unnecessary, which honestly pushed me toward leaving. Right before my lease ended, I sent notice that I was moving. Even then, I got what felt like an automated message telling me my renters insurance needed to be confirmed for the next year. I replied saying I was moving out in a few days and still had insurance, and the response I got back basically told me to send proof or be charged 10 dollars. I am not letting anyone nickel and dime me over things like that. 10 dollars. Please quit the shit. Owners may have a smoother experience, but tenants deal with a very different side of things. Best of luck if you decide to rent from them. I will not be using them again. As a property owner and a renter, this definitely isn't the way people should be treated ever. I only have 2 stars because after 30 plus days I got my deposit back. Minus a f*+^€n 5.00 e-check fee. Yall needed that I guess.

I had to take the matter to court to defend my rights. Once the case was filed, they quickly tried to reach a settlement and return my money, which says a lot about the situation. It was a stressful and unnecessary process that could have been avoided if they had acted fairly from the beginning. Tenants should be very careful and make sure they document everything when dealing with this company. Based on my experience, transparency and fairness were lacking.Anait Diaz.
