I expressed to her that they weren't good, but I'm upset with myself for not expressing it enough. Yesterday my mom, my uncle and I wanted to go do some self care since we just moved from Colorado to Florida 14 days ago. I called 6 nail salons and none could accommodate us at the same time, totally understand. I called joy nails and they were so kind right off the bat and got us in within 30 minutes. The salon itself was beautiful and the atmosphere was so positive. The lady next to us was a returning customer as well and the banter with David was just hilarious. We requested a pedi for my uncle (his first time and he seemed to enjoy it!) My mom and I got fresh sets. I requested a new gel x set which meant soaking off my old set, then starting a fresh one. Because I had indents in my nails due to the previous set I got in Colorado, he told me it wouldn't be safe to do gel x and acrylic would be better. He executed my French tip perfectly and his wife did my mom's flower cat eye better than anyone she's ever been to. David also made a very good point, I'm in Florida now so nails are better. However, it wasn't just that, spending money and an hour of your time somewhere can be really hard sometimes and they were great people to be around. I had a great experience, thank you so much!
