This isn't my first time going to this nail salon as I have been here years ago to get pedicures. But today is definitely my LAST. When I walked in at 11:30, they had only 1 chair opened for a manicure. I told them I wanted my nails off (& that I had gel on them) and then wanted gel on my actual nails. Lenny sat me in a chair and that's where I sat for 2 HOURS soaking my nails in acetone. Lenny never spoke to me after that. Thankfully Henry came over and filed my nails for me, then drilled my nails and then rubbed my nails. He came to me 3 times. All Lenny asked was where I got my nails done and that my nails are too thick. I contemplated leaving multiple times. As I sat and waited I learned that the two ladies next to me had both been sitting for about 20-30 minutes prior to me. While I sat and the owner ignored my existence he helped about 5 other women. One had an appointment, the other 4 were walk ins. 3 of the 4 walk ins also had to soak there fingers. It was like all the owner wanted was bodies in the chairs to make it appear they were busy. I overheard him tell a few of the regulars that 3 people had called out today. But one lady turned and called him out saying he always says that. So after hour 2 of sitting there- I finally speak up when Henry came back to me for the 3rd time and let me tell you I HATE confrontation.. I spoke up and said I've been sitting here for 2 hours SOAKING! Other people who have walked in hour(s) after me have been serviced and left and I am getting very impatient. Lenny heard my commend and dismissed it blaming my thick nails as the culprit. I didn't want to give any stars, but it's not an option. If it wasn't for Henry and the women next to me from MAE, I would've left. Henry took care of me - he was nice but even though he serviced me the way one should. I won't return. Lenny ruined it for me. My nails are off. I have gel like I wanted. But my nails are sharp and not smooth on the edges; it looks rushed and not consistent. Don't waste your time. PS. As I was sitting at the very last chair and could see in the back - the acetone that purple soak their fingers in is REUSED after each customer. My husband and I witnessed the same technician pour leftover acetone from a clients bowl back into the jug. The tools that are used are put into a sterilizer that resembled a toaster oven. I saw tools not in plastic and tools in the plastic bags. Towels were picked up from laundry bins, Rinsed and put back in the warmers. Gross. I'm disappointed and disgusted and will never return. No pictures as I had no use of my hands for 2 1/2 hours. read more

This was my go to nail salon. The owner is nice, as is most of the staff. They are pushy about up selling, but I have always overlooked that. The last time I went there the experience was so bad I will never be back. I wanted to write a letter to the owner and take it to him instead of doing a bad review. However, as I looked back on my experience I realized that many of the other staff had to have been aware of what was happening and didn't intervene. I don't want anyone else to have any part of my experience. The nail tech took too much skin off the bottom of my feet, left bruises on my calves, and talked about me in a language I didn't understand. Yes, I am sure I was being talked about. I left embarrassed and in pain. The bottom of my feet hurt for days. I went somewhere else for my next pedicure. I found out my nails had been over filed and cut in a way that would cause ingrown nails. I seriously don't want to go near this salon again. read more

My first visit was awesome. But every time I go in my experience is less and less enjoyable. I try to get the same person each time but I feel rushed or he LEAVES even after I have made an appointment! My last visit I got someone different. I was open about what exactly I wanted and when I saw an issue but the "fix" each time was half effort. The paint on the nail is sloppy and goopy. I sat forever under the drying station and they still were tacky. The bubbles popped and now look worse and dull. I could have done this at home for free. Sad to say that I'll have to find a new salon. Truly feel they play favorites or just do the work they feel like putting in at the moment. read more

How they treated me was super nice! But the job done was horrible! And for all I paid!!!! I had acrylic and gel on top done. I only had them for a week! because I couldn't see my nails and not cry! I only came here because my manicurist didn't have space for me so decided to try somewhere else since I was desperate. And NEVER AGAIN will I abandon her! The edges of my nails were done very poorly and not clean and the nails were not shaped the same! And that's what I look for when I have my nails done. So I'm a firm believer in putting up reviews when places deserve it. I've been searching for a good nail salon since I moved to Saint Cloud last year. I'm very disappointed I didn't try this place sooner. I've had my nails done twice, once by the owner Lenny and once by his wife Hannah. They are both so amazing. They listen to exactly what you want. I even got a shirt back massage after my pedicure. On an even better note. I put my nails through hell at my job and I lived off Gel manicures. But they always peeled and made my nails pretty weak. VIP has the Sns powder which I was apprehensive about. However, I will tell you my nails never lasted so long !!! And it was so worth it! Went to this place last Friday to celebrate a birthday. There were three people in our party and we called ahead to make an appointment for 7PM. As we arrived we were greeted and quickly seated. We opted to upgrade to the $35 option. The nail technician that I had was a bit rough. A few times I had to let him it was becoming painful. The other techs that tended to the others did a wonderful job. So far, this place has been my favorite spot in Orlando for a Pedi because of the attention to detail and service they provided. I went here yesterday after my aunt's friend recommended this salon. My mom went in the morning and I went in the afternoon to get acrylic nails and a gel pedicure. Tim is one of the best at doing nails! I absolutely loved my nails. They cost about $65 but I had colored acrylic, two nails with a design encapsulated in the nails, gel finish and they were pretty long so the price was definitely reasonable for me. Lisa did my deluxe gel pedicure and let me tell you they are very thorough on making sure you get soft feet. Lisa went over my feet three times to ensure it was soft. They don't give you a half a**ed massage, they give you like three or four massages on your feet and at the end they give you a back massage. My pedicure was about $55 but I had gel and some other things so it was reasonable. I've never been to a salon this good so I definitely had to write a review. They were so friendly, they literally treat you like VIP. They give you champagne, soda or water. They treat you like you've known them for years. Did my appointment on line 35 dollars for hair cut blow dry and 95 dollars for highlights when I got there she asked me about the highlights I told her that I wanted to see them last place I went where not enough on the cut she did not cut my hair before the highlights. She did a lot of highlights I did think why is this taking so long. Ok so after that did a hair cut well to me it was a trim she cut my bangs cut the bottom and asked if I wanted layers I had told her in the beginning I wanted a second layer so she did something and she then asked if I wanted her to blow dry it well yes I was paying for that. When it was done it was very blonde a lot of highlights a lot more than I really wanted. Went to pay and the price was not 95 + 35 it was 10 dollars more I think I should have been told before but was not. The hair cut was more like a trim so I will not be going back . read more

I will say i came here twice with my mom (i'm 18 but i guess i look younger to the workers) because the times i came with my mom we had excellent, very quick service. That's the whole reason i came back. But to my surprise when i came without an adult or without looking in a rush i waited 4 HOURS. It was absolutely ridiculous i don't know why i stayed other than to see how long they'd make me wait. When i finally got served my manicure was horrible. The only reason i gave this 2 stars not 1 is because my pedicure was relaxing. Will NOT be coming back. The management was very rude to me and acted like i was a problem by trying to be served. Walked in for a gel mani and pedi. They are so over priced. And their work wasn't even worth the $58 I spent. I had the SNS powder gel done and literally by the second day my color is stained. It looks yellow. My nails weren't filed properly and I had to cut the edges myself because they stuck out. The ends of the polish are faded. Totally not worth it. They had me wait in the pedicure chair for nearly 20 mins waiting and the nail tech I had seemed so bothered when I changed my mind from the perfect match color to the powder. She was slow that I was there for 2 hours. And I watched other ppl come in after me leave before me while I was getting the mani. No wine like I read. See the pic for the discoloration of yellow as well as the white of my nail sticking out. Also they ripped off my friends nails when she just needed a fill in and then continued to charge her for a full set. This place looked nice and welcoming when walking in. Had appointments but still waited about 5 mins to be seated-No big deal. I have only had my nails done 4-5 times in my life, this was a special/rare occasion. I wanted gel extensions, black with gold sparkles as an accent nail. I wasnt sure what kind of tips but I knew I didnt want square. My friend got rounded, I loved the look so I asked for those. The man doing mine insisted on 'coffin' style instead. I got over it when he did the first, I kindof like it, no big deal. Then he insisted that he do silver sparkles instead, in an ombre fashion on each nail. I finally gave up on my idea and told him to go for it, I was over arguing back and forth that I didn't want that, he would NOT give up on doing something other than what I asked for. Also, Idk if they normally push cuticles back before applying fake nails, but he didn't and I wish he had. I've had them about a week now and they look like I've had them for 3. About half the tips are different sizes, shaped different, or very crooked.. BUT all complaints aside, although pushy, he was a very nice man and he was fun to talk to. I cannot remember his name for the life of me. I loved the shoulder massage while waiting for the gel to cure. All in all I'm 50/50 on this place. $50 before tip for gel extensions that I'm not completely happy with is very disappointing to me, considering the only reason I don't always have them done is due to not wanting to spend the money on fake nails for myself. read more

Today was my first visit to VIP and I received the BEST pedicure I've ever had. I was worried when I walked in on a Saturday without appointment and saw how busy it was, but they seated me within 5 minutes. The pedicurist was thorough and meticulous despite the business of the place. I especially enjoyed the neck and shoulder massage while my nails dried! I also got an eyebrow wax, and was very pleased with that as well. 10/10 would definitely recommend and will be returning!! read more

I was pretty disappointed after my first trip, so I gave them a second chance. It did not improve my opinion. My first trip, I called a few days ahead and made appointments for 3 people for my daughter's birthday. I told them we were looking for the 3 of us to be serviced at the same time for pedicures, as we had hair appointments after. The man in charge said that would be fine. The day of they were very busy, and the fact we had an appointment didn't seem to matter. They took my mother and daughter, but kept me waiting. After I voiced my disappointment at this, a lady moved chairs so I could be seated with them... but I still wasn't waited on until both of them were finished. I also told him 3 times during our visit that my daughter also wanted a manicure(and had told him when I made the appointment), but had to remind him again when they tried to send her off after her toes dried, and he flippantly said he forgot. My pedicure was ok, but the paint job was bad. Even my husband, who knows nothing about nails, made fun of the disproportionate French tips, asking why they painted half my nail white. I went back again before a wedding and was kept waiting in the chair for almost an hour before anyone attended me, this time as I watched them start helping people who arrived well after me. They also rushed a paint job on my fingers, that I had to remove anyway, because he painted them so thick, the polish was still wet 2 hours later and covered in Knicks and dings. I just don't like when techs do someone's nails the same as yours, and they charge you more than the last guest with the exact nail style for one, when asking why they didn't even answer me, I still gave him a good tip though because I loved how they came out.
