Product usually good. Staff HORRIBLE. The selection for varieties that grow well in our area very good so I buy there. But the service just terrible every time I go. The two women in the office unhelpful, unengaged, and completely ignore customers. It's a shame for a locally owned business. read more

I have been to Central Nursery 3 times this Spring. Not once did the lady at the cash register offer any advice and when I asked if they had a package of seeds I couldn't find, she just said "NO." But the real thing that gets me is -- despite the "Masks must be worn" sign to enter the shop (which I support) -- she never once wore a mask! Just one more demonstration, in my opinion, of a lack of respect for their customers. read more

My parents hired them to hydroseed their yard in Kittitas. 4" of brand new topsoil was installed and when the hydroseed grew in it was some kind of mallow/cover crop. The owner refused to even come and look at it. Wouldn't return phone calls. They now will have to kill all the weeds and start again. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. My parents don't have the money to do all this again, it's pathetic that Central Nursery wouldn't man up. read more

Central Nursery set us up with sod, landscaping and a sprinkler system; to which the quality of work was good but when I asked for advice to up keeping my new landscaping they offered minimal support. As I am a novice in the ways of lawn care, I went to them seeking advice for weed control and general patchiness. The woman at the desk was extremely rude and told me that there was basically no solution to my weedy/patchy lawn. I asked her what kind of grass they installed in my lawn - she said she didn't know. I asked her how much I should be watering my lawn with the sprinkler system THEY setup. She said as much as it takes--- very useful information I asked her what to do about my weeds - she said there was no solution and my lawn was to be forever weed stricken. I asked her if anyone else at Central nursery could help me with this issue? she flat out said no. I wasn't asking them to fix my lawn I was simply asking for support and advice --- they couldn't offer any. And following my wonderful experience at Central Nursery I soon found that Central Nursery's awful customer service was an existing and known trend by the community! read more

I can't even give them a star they did alot of different things in which I have had nothing but problems with and the other reviews that I read about sprinkler heads being broken I had the exact same thing happened when they blew out mine last spring then they never showed up to fix them until I really started complaining and then they came out and they replaced a bunch of them and then I have other ones that are still leaking this is a crappist sprinkler system that I've ever had which I had another one done at another house I owned a never had this problem ever. My garage was not built when they did they the sprinkler system so they ran a extension cord to the control box and put it on my fence and told me that when the garage gets done to call and they would came out and install it the right way never mention that I would be charged the same with the sprinkler heads that leak I got charged for that also. They also put what was supposed to be topsoil in my yard that was actually filled with glass garbage rocks they were supposed to be redoing my grass they hydroseeded it which has never came in the right way I complained all the time about the way that it looked and nothing ever got done never got fixed right. I refused to pay the bill until all this is fixed. Here I am a year later almost sending text to the owner which I have done so many times from last year until actually today to fix this yard and stuff I paid alot of dollars for. Finally some guys got send out to spray for weeds let's see what happens now. I should not be having to have these guys still coming back here to try to fix my grass it is so full of weeds it is unbelievable and so I would never recommend this company to anybody to have them do ant kind of work for them period. read more

After waiting several months for Central Nursery to come out and fix the sprinkler head that they broke when the winterized the system, they finally came out. Fixed it. THEN I get a Bill from them for $85! He never said anything about how much this was going to cost I assumed since they broke it they would fix it. When I left a message with the finance office to ask about this, the gentleman (who broke and fixed the sprinkler head) called me back, got very upset and yelled that he didn't break it, that it was a bad head, even though it had been working just fine prior to being blown out. At thw time it was broken he never said anything sbout it being bad, he just said they would take care of it and me in thw spring. This company has to be the most un-customer friendly company I have ever dealt with of any kind (except maybe Comcast)! They won't take responsibility for breaking your property and I know everyone makes mistakes every now and again no one's perfect I was a simi happy customer and it would have been no big deal until they want me to pay them to fix what they broke! read more
