Prices have continued to rise until a bath and cut for my 30 lb dog cost $115! I always schedule with the same groomer, Elaina, as she does an excellent job and I like the consistency for my pup. Recently I was leaving on a trip and my 89 year old mom requested a grooming first as it was needed. Elaina wasn't available so I scheduled with another groomer. That groomer called and canceled the appointment saying she couldn't work on another groomer's client. I explained the circumstances but she would not budge. I had to leave a dirty, shaggy pup with my mom. When I came home her hair was matted from being too long. She was scooting on the carpet with poop stuck to her long fur. And my pup was trying to chew her nails back herself! I've been a customer for 3.5 years. This was unacceptable. They put themselves before the needs of the pets.

My boyfriend and I recently adopted a small dog from here. Elly was a delight to deal with and we're super happy with our new addition. Be prepared to fill out a long application if you want to go through this agency, but it's well worth it. I mean we were more than happy to drive to Yakima and back (from Seattle) for our ne little puppy. The adoption "donation" is super reasonable and the dogs all seem to be happy and well cared for! If you're looking for a new addition to your family, this just might be the place for you.

She has been the most sensitive, smart, cooperative dog I have ever experienced--a joy of a dog. She is apparently--according to DNAmydog--part Australian shepherd, Australian cattle dog, and poodle. But I also believe she has a bit of lab, or St. John's dog, or Newfie in her. I cannot begin to find the words to say how much she was loved. We had to euthanize her yesterday, Sept. 10, 2021. I cannot find the words with which to thank Barks R Us, or at least not the right words, because there are no words to convey my gratitude, not completely. She changed my life--and nothing can ever be quite the same again, now that I've lost her. Thank you for bringing her to me.
