The owner was having a bad day and took it out on my small child, who is usually very nervous about haircuts but climbed up into the seat all by himself today. My son doesn't yet understand sarcasm as most small children don't, so he was upset throughout the haircut and calling the owner silly names in response, which I don't defend but realize what was causing him to have that response - the constant sarcasm. At the end of our visit, the owner excitedly said, "Hey _______, do you want a sucker?" and of course my son was excited and said yes, and then the owner's tone changed drastically and he said, "Well too bad because I don't have any." My son was disappointed, and then the owner swatted him with a rolled up magazine. You never touch another person's child. Ever. And why was it necessary to make him think he would get a sucker when you knew all along you were out of them? It wasn't. Bully someone your own size, if you must. Not a five year old the day before he starts kindergarten. Consider specifying that you can only work with adults in the future since you clearly lack the professional patience necessary to work with children. read more

The owner Jay made me feel very relaxed & comfortable right off the start. He did a great job cutting my hair above and beyond my expectations and leaves you feeling great about yourself, refreshed and positively charged to take on any challenge the day has to offer.
