Re:Work's commitment to building furniture from reclaimed barns is smack on point! I was introduced to this husband-and-wife-run show at a Yelp event showcasing locally run businesses around central Ohio. They know where to look, who to know, and how to make wonderful furniture. Picture frames, tables, basically, you name it and, if it's feasible, they'll make it! We were able to make a simple, but classy wood plant vase out of their reclaimed barn wood. "Reduce, reuse, recycle" at its finest! I'm excited that they're working on expanding there work space. Having the front-space addition, they're planning to make a "show room"/ come and try/experience their offerings before you chat and decide on a design. Nice!

They sell machines and fix them with the owner, Laura, doing a lot of it. But education is the key. If you choose, they have classes that will teach you how to make the most of your machine. Why spend the money for something you only do straight stitches on? I have purchased 2 Bernette sergers, a new Bernina 820QE and have had them all repaired there. I pick up used Bernina/Bernette machines, have them repaired at Beth's and give them away to family. My daughters have my first serger after Laura tuned it up. They also have special interest classes available. All the people that work there have years long knowledge and are more than willing to share it. Because they are a small store their sales people may be tied up with someone else but I have no problem because I understand they are making sure that customer has what they need.
