Way more thorough, careful and deliberate than any other chiropractic place I've ever been to. My entire previous experience before Central Ohio Spine and Joint was 5-10 minutes cracking then out the door - very rushed. COSJ was all about asking questions, movement tests, different assessments, including motion tracking, electromagnetic therapy, thorough testing of tension and tenderness at many different angles, exploring different physical therapy strengthening exercises, etc. And finally there was the adjustment. I've been going to Central Ohio Spine and Joint for the last year for my various leg and feet issues. I see Dr. Sealy, who really has taken an interest in my running and recovery, and really listens when I tell him what my current pain point is. He does dry needling on my legs every few weeks, which I find helps loosen things up. A couple of months ago, I did something to my back, and saw Dr. Sealy. He showed me an exercise and dry needled, and I was miraculously better the next day. If you are looking for a chiropractor who has a lot of knowledge and is good listener, I've been really happy with Dr. Sealy. I also see Abbe, the massage therapist, every few weeks. She definitely knows her stuff and it is a true medical massage. She finds and gets out a lot of the tight points in my legs and feet. One time she worked on my lower back, and I felt like a new person -- I didn't even know I was carrying that much stress in my back! read more

I am a 64 year old, former Olympic Trials athlete and I still train. Before going to Central Ohio Spine and Joint I researched the doctor I wanted to see, made the appointment and instead of seeing Doctor Leonard, I was seen by a different chiro In addition, I was asked by the front desk for my insurance card . They billed my insurance company for my 20 minute appointments which were billed as PT subsequently reducing the number of PT appointments I could have in the future by a licensed physical therapist elsewhere. When a call was made by me and my health insurance company to see if they would let me 'self pay' for those previous visits and cancel the submissions they made to insurance I was told by Dr. Leonard that he would call me back after reviewing my case. He never called. In the multiple visits I made to Spine and Joint there was zero help for my medical issue. although I received follow up calls and a letter asking me to come back. Lesson learned. Don't hand over your insurance card when you go to a chiropractor. You never know how it will affect the future number of visits your insurance will pay for by a licensed Physical Therapist. . read more

Before going to Dr. Leonard the first time, I did quite a bit of research. I have now been seeing him for the past few years and I've never found anyone better. I like him so well that I recommended him to my sister, who has had various issues for years, and she agrees completely with me. My first visit was for TMJ, which I was concerned whether a chiropractor was a good choice or not for, but he did an amazing job of doing everything to make it better, but when he'd come to the end of what he could/should do, he referred me on to a dentist that was able to follow up and bring me to nearly a full recovery. Since then I've been to him for back issues, foot issues and a knee issue. He asks the right questions, and responds with a variety of procedures every time. He is fully committed to your health and recovery. I would normally be wary about recommending a health care professional, but I have zero qualms in recommending you to see Dr. Leonard and his staff (Physical therapy, massage, acupuncture). read more
