It is located on the corner of Assembly Street and Taylor Street, right behind the Mast General Store on Main Street. We entered through the entrance on Taylor Street and exited on Assembly Street. - Things to note - No gate Meters on certain floors Monthly parkers and Juror parking is Level 2A and above Wheelchair Accessible 1-B only Meters on certain floors - Rates - Free parking on weekdays after 6:00 pm and on weekends. According to website, the metered parking rates are as follows: 4 mins $0.05 8 mins $0.10 20 mins $0.25. This was conveniently located to where we had planned to go which was Soda City, the Richland Library, The State House and just walking down Main Street.

The underground level has trees planted and it gives the area such a refreshing look and smell. I admire that there is a help section for jobseekers. There's rooms for meetings, there studios for people to work and there's a theater room?! The opportunity this library provides for people to advance in your careers and or businesses is amazing! This library is so cool and I'm in shock of how great it looks as well as what it offers!

It is too many people loitering outside but the library is so is beautiful in the inside the people…read morewere most helpful and friendly the security seems to be straight they're not this way one day and that way the next day when you go in there I have concerns because I did injure myself at the library on St Andrews and I have to call them nobody has followed up with me about falling a claim with their insurance company or whatever the case it may be that's not the way you treat people because the library is too cheap to provide regular chairs you don't need chairs on rollers why do you need hydraulic chairs on rollers in the library so people can fall out so an injured themselves or whatever the case may be I would like to see from them to print out a calendar about the classes that they have not going live for this go online for that and then that system is going wonky you should just be able to call in say you want to register for class and that's it the people who are higher up they need to get at the long table Round Table whatever and discuss how they can better improve the library for people's safety for people's enjoyment otherwise I really do love this Library

I am paying for the parking on these first two levels yet you allow this! DO YOUR DAMN JOB!!!!!!!!

This garage has several levels with reserved parking and most of those spots were not used. USC should consider turning this garage into visitor only and moving reserved spots to another location. Touring the campus is pretty tough if one can't find a place to park.

Im a member and volunteer of Historic Columbia, go to their website for all the deets. Ive done a good review of Historic Columbia. They perserve the history of Columbia SC amongst other things in the city. Being a member has allowed me to attend behind the scenes of new projects and keep up with the new preservations of the city. The event " Columbia Down Under" was well planned and open only to members. We met up at the restored Arcade Mall in the DT area in the city. Parking can be a task since DT has become more popular with all the happenings in town. Once we met up inside the Arcade Mall we were gven tickets for light snack food and two beverage ticket. There history slides on a projector explaining the past life under ground. We were given the low down of the evening from the guide, then we went downstairs for the beginning of the tour. They had 3 groups, thankfully I was in the first to go under ground. The steps were a little steep, not to bad though. If you have any respiratory issues I would advice taking a mask with you. Its unfinished in its original state, untouched. For now they have no plans on restoring the "Under Ground". I actually learned quite a bit during this tour. The guide works for Historic Columbia and was very knowledgeable, he welcomed any questions for all us history buffs. This was my first visit to The Arcade but not my last, the buildings architecture is absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of shops and spaces to add a business. Its worth a visit if your DT Columbia!
