Look there's no such thing as cheap downtown parking in Manhattan if it's a weekday during normal working hours so be prepared to pay $30+. The nice thing about this garage is you could park your vehicle yourself which is nice because who wants some random stranger in your vehicle. For the most part this place looks visibly clean and not shady at all and could easily be accessed by at least two of its entrances. Remember where you parked! I believe each zone is colored and lettered to help find your vehicle. I will be using this place if I need to park downtown again. Use it! read more

This is the worst experience ever! They are doing construction on the side road so the guy holding the flags directs me to the left which turns out to be the parking garage! Okay! In and out and maybe a dollar! The taxi in front has a problem with his ticket and now there is a line! Nobody goes to help him at all. Parking. I have the need, but not quite the desire, to be in the Battery Park area on a weekly basis for the foreseeable future and as such, need a place that gives my car a place to hide while I'm out doing what I am doing. This parking garage is the most convenient location to where I need to be and is conveniently located basically over the Battery Tunnel entrance / exit - there is an entrance on Greenwich street and one on Morris. I tend to use the Morris street entrance as it gives me easy access to the footbridge over said tunnel entrance / exit as I need to walk myself over to Broadway. The downside, as you might imagine, is that parking is not that cheap, particularly in this part of town. The upside is it beats the hell out of getting ticketed / towed which can really put a crimp in your day and your wallet. The lot itself is decently lit, fairly clean and with slow but functional elevators. The thing you need to watch is that the Morris street entrance closes at 9pm on the dot - so if you are not there you have to hoof it over to the Greenwich street entrance which also means you are going to run across the tunnel entrance... nice for a quick cardio workout. Worth hitting if you are in this area. read more

The only spot in the area that's self park - I don't feel comfortable giving my keys to someone at other lots. This is right next to the bridge too so you can park when you get over and then walk around battery and financial district. We found a spot pretty easily and was easy to get out - both attendants were helpful when i had questions. 4 stars just due to price we were only there for like 4 hrs and paid $45ish. read more

This place is terrible. I called in advance to make sure they allowed motorcycle parking (they did). But when I showed up there was a big, "NO MOTORCYCLES ALLOWED" sign. I parked illegally and went inside. One guy was proclaiming, "I just need to get into Level 1--it's been a half hour--I pay $500 a month to park here, for god's sakes, I just want my parking space!" I spoke with 3 people who worked there. Two couldn't tell me and the final one (who I had to wait for) said, "sure, but it's monthly." WTF--ya think maybe you could have mentioned that over the phone before I fought commute traffic in the rain to get here? Lame. I asked very nicely if an exception could be made, if I could just pay for a car space, etc. etc. etc., but nope. $50 for a slice of unused pavement off to the side (or in the 1 month section) was an IMPOSSIBILITY. This Central Parking sustems location actually has an old sign that says "Battery Parking Garage". Its expensive (like any parking in the Fi Di) but there are always spaces and easy to use automatic pay machines. The lots are well lit, and parking spaces are roomy. I drive a pickup, and was easily able to find room. You won't have to worry about sketchy parking attendants overcharging you on the fly, and its really convenient to the area, 3 minute walk to the Bull and Stock Exchange. read more

Literally one of the worst if not the worst parking garages in the city. The management and all employees of this horrendous company called "LAZ" are all nasty ignorant pricks who will do everything in their power to NOT help you. The place is run down is always filthy and disgusting. There isn't any sort of order, especially not now while they're "renovating" the dump. If you do come here make sure to properly read the signs and all fine print including time restrictions. I've lost a good amount of money because of the stupid rules that aren't even printed on any of their signs. Just seriously park somewhere else or take the train, or just don't come to NYC at all. FYI there are also other parking garages and lots own by "LAZ" it would be wise to avoid those as well. Wish I could rate lower than one star. read more

I also used Valet Parking but this time i wanted to use Self Parking which was very hard to find ! Thank you to help us ! It was very nice Parking Area and without any trouble we parked and took out our car easily ! It was 20$ for 8 hours On Saturday and on Sunday and weekdays 32$. We've been parking our car here for more than 2 years, this place is not very well maintained but it's one of the very few places in the city that allows you to self-park. We generally have no complains about this place, but tonight...not only I was verbally abused by one of LAX Parking's staff members, I also felt my security was in danger during the incident. Very central parking garage! Also very cheap for downtown and you can park your own car! Highly recommend to drive yourself into Manhattan and park instead of taking cab rides. Cabs are very expensive for a good weekends worth of sight seeing. read more

Excellent 24/7 self parking facility close to every thing including 911 memorial, ferry and Wall street. We parked here on the weekend to visit different sites in the area and paid only $20.00 for 12 hours parking for our 16 passenger van. Facility was very clean and well lit. read more
