This place I called when we were 30 mins outside the city. Someone who spoke well answered the call, which made me feel well. I asked if they have availability and he said yes. I said the rate and he said $58, but extra $15 for an SUV. It came to $108 for two days. That was a steal on how much I thought it would cost. But to provide you an example of price changes. In 2010 it cost me $20 per day. Yeah 12 years later the rate has more than doubled. The guy was polite and nice when I arrived. I paid the $108, provided him my slip and he went and got my vehicle and drove it down. This is the place to go. But warning, it's VERY difficult to turn into the place when you have a larger vehicle. I'm happy we didn't bring my truck, because I would of had to do a million turns.

In and out and maybe a dollar! The taxi in front has a problem with his ticket and now there is a line! Nobody goes to help him at all. Great experience parking here for our 7-day trip out of JFK…read more Prepaid online for $30 per day. Compared to the other terminal options which range from $35-$60 per day. There is a cheaper option at $25 per day but that lot if NOT connected to the AirTrain system but a shuttle bus is available. There are other third party options that may be cheaper...but they have their own shuttle buses and I was hesitant to book those based on our departing and arrival times. If you pre-book, your license plate will be scanned upon entry and departure giving you access. If you go over your allotted time, you will have the pay the difference before exiting. You also have the option to pay using your E-ZPass upon exiting. Safe area as we arrived at 3 a.m. and returned at 12:30 a.m. and there were others (including many employees) boarding the AirTrain which came surprisingly frequent at those times. (We only waited about 5 minutes each time) The AirTrain took about 10 minutes to get us to Terminal 5. Lot of parking spaces available but they may be a bit tighter for larger vehicles. I felt we had just enough room with our mid-sized SUV to park without much risk for (hopefully) consdierate owners on each side of our vehicle to be careful when opening their doors. Be sure to fold in your mirrors as a precaution. As expected, the spaces closer to the AirTrain are pretty filled up...but we were lucky to snag one only about 3 rows away. As an aside, in visiting other airports, I think the concept of having the AirTrain available to take travelers to the terminals, rental cars, hotels and parking lots (as JFK does) is a must. The hassle of using shuttle buses, especially with children and luggage, can be a headache. Overall a great experience, I would definitely use them again for future longer trips out of JFK.

I missed the flight and was not able to travel. I returned back to lot, get and exit at 9:38 am. My credit card was charged $40. As per the posted sign, it should have been $20. The sign said $20 for 12 hours or part there of. Maximum of $35/day. And now that I am trying to speak to someone on the phone to get a refund, it has been difficult. Everything registered that I paid but the arm did not lift to leave as perhaps I took too long to pull forward. I then proceeded to ask the guy sitting at the booth 3 inches away from me if he could open the arm and proceeded to show him my receipt. Mind you if he was being paid to actually perform his job services he would have witnessed the entire transaction but was instead either sleeping or looking at his phone as his head was down. He told me I could not speak to him and proceeded to pretend to speak another language (as an aside I'm well traveled and knew he was speaking made up gibberish). He told me to go to the manager and couldn't even explain where that was. I am now stuck inside a garage I just paid for being held hostage. I asked some random civilian if they knew anything about management and they were able to point me in the right direction. I then spoke to the manager who at first said don't speak to me speak to the guy at the booth. At this point I simply lost my shit. The manager then said i don't know how you got a receipt as there is no receipt paper in the machine as if like magic I produced a printed receipt for the exact time and date. She then compared it to the online record and bam, rocket science, it matched up. Despite being blatantly accurate that I paid my ticket she proceeded to not understand how this strange phenomenon could have occurred. At this point I told her if I am not brought back to my car and escorted out right now I am calling the police as I am being held against my will and this is a scam. The scam: making drivers pay twice bc the arm didn't lift and the receipt has to be fake or if you didn't press to print a receipt how are they supposed to believe you?! Be sure to search online for a coupon code because there is almost always one available. Download their parking app because you will need it for payment and to request your vehicle.
