Great experience parking here for our 7-day trip out of JFK. Prepaid online for $30 per day. Compared to the other terminal options which range from $35-$60 per day. There is a cheaper option at $25 per day but that lot if NOT connected to the AirTrain system but a shuttle bus is available. There are other third party options that may be cheaper...but they have their own shuttle buses and I was hesitant to book those based on our departing and arrival times. If you pre-book, your license plate will be scanned upon entry and departure giving you access. If you go over your allotted time, you will have the pay the difference before exiting. You also have the option to pay using your E-ZPass upon exiting. Safe area as we arrived at 3 a.m. and returned at 12:30 a.m. and there were others (including many employees) boarding the AirTrain which came surprisingly frequent at those times. (We only waited about 5 minutes each time) The AirTrain took about 10 minutes to get us to Terminal 5. Lot of parking spaces available but they may be a bit tighter for larger vehicles. I felt we had just enough room with our mid-sized SUV to park without much risk for (hopefully) consdierate owners on each side of our vehicle to be careful when opening their doors. Be sure to fold in your mirrors as a precaution. As expected, the spaces closer to the AirTrain are pretty filled up...but we were lucky to snag one only about 3 rows away. As an aside, in visiting other airports, I think the concept of having the AirTrain available to take travelers to the terminals, rental cars, hotels and parking lots (as JFK does) is a must. The hassle of using shuttle buses, especially with children and luggage, can be a headache. Overall a great experience, I would definitely use them again for future longer trips out of JFK. read more

Be warned, the pricing is a rip-off. What you pay is much higher than what you see posted. I parked there on June 5, 2025 at 8:21 am, took the Air Train to JFK expecting to travel to DC. I missed the flight and was not able to travel. I returned back to lot, get and exit at 9:38 am. My credit card was charged $40. As per the posted sign, it should have been $20. The sign said $20 for 12 hours or part there of. Maximum of $35/day. And now that I am trying to speak to someone on the phone to get a refund, it has been difficult. One of their phone numbers listed, a recording is trying to sell you health insurance. It's Crazy! read more

They closed parking lot close to last stop of air train. Which is very inconvenient for Airport customers. Management decided make a storage for PA buses. read more

Decent option for long-term parking; at $18/day, it's cheaper than the other JFK lots. While those lots are closer, this one has multiple options for getting to the airport pretty quickly. The Airtran is free and has live updates about when the next train is coming. There are also free shuttle buses. I'm not sure why you would choose the bus, but it is comforting to have multiple options from the ~3-4 miles you are from the terminals. (Note - getting back to this lot will often require an easy transfer from your terminal. Just be sure to check the maps.) People dart in and out of cars, though there are some main walkways that should be followed. I guess people can't walk too fast with luggage, but be extra vigilant. You can pay via EZPass as well as credit card/cash. read more

JFK Long Term Parking Lot 9 - View from the tram - Parking Near Me - Jamaica, New York

Really upset at recent event. Parking lot 9 was closed due to it being full. Security guard said that overflow was at red lot and explained how to get there. Lot $9 is $20 a day. Overflow turned out to $36/day. Never again will I go to JFK... nope! Unreal. Parking will cost more than the ticket! read more

$20 a day is a bit outrageous to me but I felt like my car was perfectly safe. It's very well lit at night so I felt secure walking through the hundreds of cars to get to mine. Be prepared for a long walk because all the close parking to the air-train are rarely available. read more

Upon entering long term parking we had to back car up and forward a number of times to get a ticket. Upon leaving we put the ticket in the machine at the exit gate but it would not read our EZ PASS sensor. We wound up using a credit card in order to get the gate to open. Parking was fine but EZ PASS terrible. Upon returning from our trip the air train was out of service and we fought with 100's of others to get on a bus for LTP read more

Flying to Jacksonville. United airfare was about $400 out of Newark. Delta was about $250 however out of JFK. I did the math, Uber to from Newark another $200 (almost). Parking at this lot for $18 a day. I was away for six days paid $108 at this lot. Plus Deltas schedule was better than United. All I can say is this parking lot is a cakewalk. The lot is right off the highway and the airtrain brought us to the terminal in minutes. I was a little apprehensive as I had my 11 and 7 year olds, but it was safe and easy. Easy. This one is the real deal...avoid those other private lots. This one has the AirTrain and will get you to the airport with no fuss. No idea why someone would park in a private lot trying to save $3 a day while they do god knows what with your car. DON'T follow googles directions to "JFK lot 9"...if it's not on lefferts, it's not this place. This is on lefferts where the airtrain crosses it. read more

Parking okay.... It's the Air Tran that you have to navigate... The AirTran associated with the Long Term Parking on Lefferts Blvd is the GREEN LINE. There is nobody in this parking lot nor are there any attendants on the Air Tran to provide you with information. Depending on which Terminal you are flying out of... There are Two directions and Three Train. For example... We were returning from Terminal 5 (Jet Blue)... The Green Line does not run to Terminal 5... We ended up riding that stupid AirTran around before we realized we needed to get off... and Luckily we got off at Terminal 1... And was able to take the Green Line to Lefferts Blvd Long Term Parking... I was so mad! So if you are at terminal 5. 6. 7.... You have to ride it back to Terminal 1 and switch trains and catch the GREEN LINE in order to get back to long term parking. Also check the website for coupons since to me parking is pricey... aprox $22 a day... but with the coupon from the website... I got it for $18 a day. read more

I created this review for the JFK long term parking lot (Lot 9 specifically) managed by the Port Authority. The "JFK Long Term Parking" listed at S Conduit Ave is a private business with a name that is misleading. There are even pictures of Lot 9 on that company's review page which adds to the confusion. I love parking at this lot when I travel from JFK. It's only $18 per day which works out to be way cheaper than taking car service from Connecticut (I just paid $120 for one week of parking). There is a bus that runs around the lot to pick you up and bring you to the air train that takes you to the terminals. My wife and I typically walk our bags to the train station as it is pretty close (less than 0.5 mile walk from the furthest point) and we want to get our legs moving before sitting on a plane all day. I've used this lot many times and never had an instance of damage to my car. It's easy to get in and out, very close to the highway, they accept credit cards, and you don't need to make any reservations. I recommend it to everybody because I really like using this lot and it's very affordable. Plug the location into your GPS for help as the signs can be a little hard to spot when you get off the highway. read more

Close to the major highways... It can get a little confusing if traveling at night... They can do a better job providing better signage. Give your self between 20 - 30 min from the time you enter the parking lot to your arrival at the terminal. Keep in mind you have to spend time looking for a spot, walking to the AirTrain, waiting for an Airtrain. They come every 10 mins, then walking to your respective terminal after getting off your stop. To me the best part was paying with EZ pass when leaving the parking lot. I street park so not only do I find parking while i'm away, it basically would cost me the same to do an uber roundtrip. Not sure why anyone would deal with shuttles and valet parking so ave a few bucks..if at all. This is the way to go, better security and a airtrain is convenient read more

Parking here was so much easier than parking at those parking garages I used to park at. The lot was easy to find . Just follow the signs for long term parking . Air Tran takes you right to your terminal . I parked for a week and it costs $130. No waiting around for shuttles to drop you off and pick you up. This is the way to long term park !! read more

we always park at the Howard Beach lot and thought it was great until yesterday. we returned from a week away and the Port Authority had moved our car. when we asked at the exit, we were told that the area we parked in is sometimes needed for something (really too tired and annoyed to listen to the details) and they do move cars by towing them to another spot. He said since it is a private lot, they basically have rights over our car. Our car was parked legally and there were no signs warning that they could move it. read more
