You'll find a roster of activities including all popular indoor sports, with morning and evening pickleball quite popular. Most activities are free except when outside instructors come in for classes like dancercize, ceramics, karate and yoga. The calendar is updated monthly and appears to be rather consistent. I've been there for table tennis tournaments -- hosting some worldclass players -- and local art shows. There are affordable summer and teacher work-day sessions, a good resource when school is out. I sometimes use the small workout room that's adequately equipped with ellipticals, treadmills, free weights and a few machines. The annual membership is $120, incrementally priced if a year is too long a commitment. (A lot of snowbirds live in the area.) The room is quiet and rarely all that crowded. Be sure to bring a lock for the locker room, with soap and a towel if you plan to shower. The center is open seven days a week from early morning till 9:00 p.m. on weekdays. They're operational, even when one would think they'd close -- like Easter Sunday! Staff is very nice, the facility is well-maintained, and they're located in the same complex as the library. I sometimes walk from one building to the other. With funding from tax dollars, a valid state ID is required when signing up. It's well worth your $10.
